Nice mod, Rix!! and thank you so much for the good word. It's good to hear that an adventure was made easier, it was our pleasure!

You're welcome!! The dripper's (RDA) are great, there are many to choose from. It will always come in handy, If you have any problems, give a shout out, and we'll help to find a solution as best as we can. Have fun!!

These are a great little cheap $14 dripper, great for learning the ropes. I think PBusardo has a review on them. The delrin will melt when introduced to heat above, say 375(?), so be careful when drying the parts before use. I believe MSE used a toaster oven, and it was a bit too hot.

My first chance to sing the prasies of the e-cigarette
Uma replied to Lyrical's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Why oh why can't others just be thrilled for us! We are happy for those who switch from caffenated to decaff coffee/beverages. (an alternative) We are happy for those who switch from regular to diet soda. (an alternative) We are happy for those who switch from ice cream to yogurt. We are happy for those who switch from fried to baked. (think Oprah and her tater chips). Yet, we vapers seem to always run across folks who yell "UMMMM!! She's still eating chips!!!! " Sh'es still drinking coffee!! Those downer type of critical people will forever haunt the happy corridors of life. They are sometimes ignorant, sometimes uninformed, sometimes S&M, .... whatever their particular reason, they have it and it's up to us to smile and say "I'm standing here smiling, because I'm totally okay with you being an idiot". (my favorite quote from Canadian Dirtbaggers). -

That's where some nice VaporTalk.com business card thingies would come in so handy! Eventually, they'll find themselves digging a little deeper in the eCigs. I think I'll have some printed up while I'm thinking about it. -

She's so lucky to have met you, what great timing! I hope she takes to it like a duck takes to water or a teenager takes to smokes. -
HOpefully he fixed the top cap. Needs 2 o-rings for a strong hold, imho. There's a Zenfidel sub-forum in the ElectronicStix forum over at ecf if you're interested in reading. I don't think Zen can post there, but the usual's should have an idea.

We've explored the Genesis Style Rebuildable Atomizer in these pages, and there are many other styles still to go. Other styles you say? Yep. Other styles. The Genesis Style, has an SS mesh wick, and a juice tank. The tank can be SS or glass, holds anywhere from 1.2ml to 5.ml and comes in just as many prices and craftsmanships as mods do. They range from 25 (for the clones) to 250 for the Titanium wonders like the Bliss Titanium.. Some come with a years supply of mesh and wire (such as the DID series from MMVapors.com) and some don't come with anything but the atty. Then there are the Rebuildable: CARTO tanks, like the Killer 705. Imagine rebuilding your own carto to stick into a tank. No more tossing those puppies, just reCoil those dead coils! Sweet eh. DRIPPERS!! Imagine coiling your own silica wicks and direct dripping your tasty new juices. These will hold about 20 drops of juice usually. Such as the IGO-L CART w/ATTY! Yep! This one even has all the fluffy wonders of the good old CART of old. The atty itself is a silica wick, and the ends of the wick provide juice to the Fluff Filled Cart. The Cart Fluff never touches the coil, never gets burned. Check out the Spheroid! and so forth. If you vape it, its out there in Rebuildable format! Have fun!!!

I wondered what V2's were, and now I am in the "know" finally. Thanks for the headsup guys! I'll be well informed if someone irl asks for my opinion....

What Is Your Favorite Electronic Cigarette Tastes
Uma replied to yundoo002's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Butter Rum in one mod and Caramel Cappuchino in the other mix into one mighty fine flavor when vaped at the same time. -
Wait. Is that 50 bucks for a kit or for just one battery? PS. Congrats on your win!!
-
Great review!!! I must collect a set for the curious Georges who visit me. Are there adapters available for those who would like to use a VN or an RBA or anything different from the 808?
-
This one is under 50 bucks, (not the cheapest by any means, but the cheapest are usually found in coops throughout the various forums). I'm not sure if all 3 tubes are included or not... so it might be more. Shoot, I'm not even sure if it's the change-a-tube style or a true telescopic spinning style. But, it looks kinda cool. You'll have to research it, of course. http://www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1467 Unless the true spinning telescopic style one has a battery end cap (like the Roller),or a removable top cap (like Super-T's new one), they're a pain in the hiney to change the batteries out. Just a heads up in case you weren't aware. (they should call them "twist a thousand times" mods lol). If I run into more, I'll drop a post.

WTG!!!! A big hearty CONGRATS to you!!! Isn't this exciting!! Whodathunk we'd ever be able to go without a T-cig. Now they're soooooo gross!! and it was so easy to vape through the cravings. Gotta love it.

What would you like to know about it? There are a few threads here at VT that explain setting it up and whatnot. The AGA-T+ is considered a clone, mass produced in China, yet, has it's own design and better features from the previous clones from China, which makes it almost a "real" genny. It's considered a top-notch clone. (today. but, China changes things all the time mind you. Nothing stays "great", they cut corners, they out-source their productions, etc... but in general, it is considered, so far, to be #1 clone). The AGA-T+ is SS mesh wick style, as well as silica wick, it's your choice. SS is the most popular as long as you can keep the wick straight and true. (see quirks below) The AGA-T+ is all stainless steel, (except the tank, which is poly or pyrex-ic). To date, it is the best of the clones out there, due to the safer materials. (this may change at a moments notice) Nobody knows what grade of SS it is, however, at least it is not chrome over brass like a lot of the other clones out there. (#304 & #316 are the safest grade, which the expensive ones out there are usually made from. Titanium, of course, is the most expensive). The AGA-T+ is affordable. It's the highest priced of the clones, but worth the few dollars more. (five dollars?). (this may change at a moment's notice). The AGA-T+ has it quirks, like any atomizer, but usually only needs a couple of 2.5mm Stainless Steel Flat washers to work the worst quirks out. The AGA-T+ can be found at many Vendors. DiscountVapors.com is just one. You can do a google search for a long list. HoosierVapes is another. Stormysceller is another. (you'll need to google search to get the proper URLS). Good luck, I hope this covered some of your questions...

haha, you're welcome! I have mine set up with twisted 32g too, and just love it. One of these shopping trips in the future I'll be trying it on 30g and 28g too. I finally got the flat ribbon wire, but haven't yet tried it. Your wrap looks nice, despite it being loose. There is ample space around the wickhole, all you need to do is to insert your filling needle or paperclip inside the wick and wiggle loosen the wick up a bit to tighten the wrap a bit, when/if it starts to act up on you. Leave be until then! If it's working great, it's perfect!!! (that's my motto and I stick to it!). I'm glad you tried it!! and I'm even gladder you like it. It's hard to explain this to the total newbie though, who is overwhelmed with the other basic first steps as it is. The twisted wire and other methods certainly make for a wonderful surprise bonus after they're confident though. (if they don't twist it with steady tension, they'll have problems. Must learn the single wire first).

They come in many sizes, styles, materials, and prices. (the better the material, the higher the price of course). Are you interested in the SS mesh wick style, the silica wick style, the carto fluff style, or the dripper style? (many of the SS Mesh wick styles can also be used with silica btw). Are you interested in starting right in with the top quality #304 or #316 grade SS material, or are you interested in starting out with a Clone from China? There are a lot of variables, but we can help lock it down for you with a bit more info. There is a learning curve, but it's not that hard to master, and once learned, the world is your oyster. (especially with the fda and taxman biting at your heels).

Google search 2.5mm flat stainless steel washers. I believe Amazon & Hobby places have them. Here's a few links: http://www.radicalrc.com/ http://www.boltdepot.com/Product-Details.aspx?product=7365 You might have to dremel the outside edges, to lessen the width. I know MSE had to do that with the ones he found at his local store. He can fill you in more, when he gets back from wherever he's been. (probably super tired from working so hard). Here's a pic (by PixleJuice) which shows what it will look like.
-
Yeh, they're all too far away, on the clones. Some clones are better than other clones, just like everything in life. There are workarounds though, like using the washers or winding the coil back. (winding the wire back is a pia to do whenever recoiling though...). Good luck with your next attempt.

Welcome to VT! Being a Tech guy, you & your peers would probably be the most impressed with the Vamo with it's menu system, Variable Volts and Variable Watts settings. It's fun to play with. It reads your battery life level and reads the OHMS of your atty as well. It comes in Stainless Steel or in Chrome, either one. You can also put different "skins" on it to suit your whim. Check out Jwraps.com There are other ones too, of course. For me, personally, imho, I think the "coolest" one out there is the steampunk one. It's wild. Then there are other ones too, like I said. Happy Hunting!

haha, sweet!! Amazing what a little bit of quality can do isn't it. The AGA-T+ is the only clone to date I'd ever recommend. Welcome to the wonderful world of gennys! You're so on a roll now. Oh! and don't despair. The cheaper one you first had, is popular with modders, (and of course salesmen ). It's great for practicing drilling the wick hole larger, and the air hole, and all the drilling stuff we'd never want to tackle without practice on a good working atty. Once again, Congrats to you and your new found freedom.

Has Cobra come out with a Hybrid?

Looks great!! The coils are evenly lit up, and spaced apart. The base coil is close to the base, but not touching. The wick is level with the center post, if not lower. The amazing part to me, is the straight and true wick on the AGA-T+!! That is very hard to accomplish without hot spots from the top coil's long lead over to the Center Post. Most of us have to either use the washers to shorten that line's distance, or we have to twist the lead line back around the lead line... which is a huge pain in the as s when you have to undo it to recoil it again for any reason. Kudos!! The straightest wicks, produce the best wicking, because they're not kinked in any way. Bottom line is: if it vapes, it's right! There really isn't any "one" way to do these gennys. Different setups produce different nuances, yes, but the beauty of these gennys is the freedom to explore. Oh, and BTW, you guys are lucky to have gotten yours while you did... already China is cutting corners again and sending out "ahem" batches. My advice? Be sure your Vendor is experienced with gennys, and can keep China Factories in line. A Vendor who doesn't use gennys, wouldn't know a good one from a bad one if the bad one bit him/her! Always, do due diligence. Just because it's apples today, doesn't mean it's apples tomorrow. Things change daily. But, hopefully these AGA-T+'s will become good enough again, and stay that way.
