Right on! I'm on a roll. I couldn't name and save the sample in the app, but I copy/pasted to my notebook and should be good to go. Ha! Before buying the flavors, I bought a huge bottle of 100mg to store in the freezer for later down the road when I'm confident to use it. I also purchased a bottle of 48mg to use right away, with a calculator, ... but I chickened out trying it because of math and big batches... and so next I bought the 28mg premixed non-flavored to dig in. There's no stopping me now lol. And with each level up the rung of confidence, I'll have it ready on hand to tackle. I love it when a plan comes together, even if it were a plan by accident. I still haven't even received the shipping notice for the stuff I bought last week. I'm going stir crazy, getting more and more antsy by the minute. Thanks for the headup about the various strengths of flavorings according to different brands/flavors. I'll keep that in mind while playing and not be afraid to go over 10% at all. I wish we lived closer! I'd be so much fun to have bake offs together!

For the camera screenshot, if you have a smartphone, just click the Power button and the Home key both at the exact same time. Then go into the gallery, menu, send. I like to take snapshots after I zoom in a regular photo I've taken, for a good closeup shot. Otherwise, I zoom to take the pic in the first place, it comes out super blurry I wondered what the base nic would be after mixing it. Sweet! I've jotted all the numbers down into the app, and saved as "Kit's sample". Thank you so much!!! When I want, say, 20% flavoring, I assume I would make sure the numbers below the 20 avg out to a total of 20 right? Same for 10. Same for 30. 10% is my ideal I believe, for everyday vapes. That's a great plan! and yes, you'll be wanting more than one, trust me. There are so many great attys out there, and more and more coming out every day. It's almost impossible to stay off a "list" when one grabs our attention. Being able to sit back, relax, and vape through the decision making processes. Want to feel better? One of the ones that I super drool over, the Kayfun III es, and the mini version too, is $250.00!! Crazy stupid expensive. But, next year, there will be more versions of it, and just as many prices. Mine still spins there too, and I have to look it up in my notebook every time. Don't worry about buying the mesh yet, you will more than likely receive a free cut with your atty. If not, you can usually purchase a cut from the vendor. More and more Vendors are finally stocking up on the mesh, wires, and even the o-rings and insulators. :::faint::: Things change fast in the industry! But, to answer your question: the Ltd #400 Super Fine Filtration Mesh - 25 Micron is the one I got. I don't know if there are "better" ones or not. Good catch!! I wish I could go back and edit that typo. It's a good thing I alerted everyone to look further down the line for corrections and whatnot. Phew! You're right, it should have read 1.6 x 2.5. Of course, it will be different with different wickhole sizes. If it's too thick, just unroll it a bit and cut off a bit. If it's too thin, just do a double wick (wrap another width right over that one). Once you know how much mesh your particular wickhole will fit, it will be a cinch to cut it right from then on. The genuine DID's take more mesh than the AGA-T+, until the AGA-T is bored out. Save all your scraps! You'll be surprised what they'll come in handy for, such as the newest latest and greatest SS Cable craze. (non galv, non nylon, non treated). I'll put a video up later today for you on it. Yes! The wick is quite a trooper! To be honest, the one I replaced after 6 months can still be used, so it's been cleaned, dried, reJuiced and stuck inside a sealed baggie for a future quick wrap. The coils on the other hand, are very personal. I like to change mine about every 3 months lol. Really. Honest! They are still going strong when I change them out. (I clean them in between as needed). Others like to change them every week. Which is what I would recommend for anyone to do. I'm just too lazy to do it and I get by without having to do it. When you splurge and buy a spool of Kanthal A-1 wire off ebay (kingorchid is a good seller) you get anywhere from 50' to 100' of wire. This is more than a lifetime supply. The wire costs anywhere from 6 bucks to 10 on avg. My next purchase will be the 30awg, because it's a favorite of many of my mentors. By the time we have all the different gauges on hand, we will have approx 300' or more of wire to play with. We'll never run out. In short, change the coil every week, but you can get by just fine if you go longer. Yes, you can wash the wick out with vodka (everclear), or under the sink faucet, or in a bowl of distilled water, or in an ultrasonic cleaner, ... the gunk buildup just rinses right off. Be sure to roll it dry on a papertowel, retorch once to dry further, and reinsert. (I season mine, but that's an optional step). I hope this sounds clear and answers your questions. This is so cool that you're seriously venturing into this. It's a game changer!

Ego's are a great ecig, and sit quite a few notches above the basic beginner's ones you've tried to date. You can't go wrong with an eGo. The store? The D stands for DID, and the # stands for the diameter size. DID = D20, it was the original one he first introduced to the market. It's a great one for learning the curves on, it has a large 20mm diameter, and is roomy enough for big knuckles and klutsy newbies. It holds a lot of juice, 3.5ml. This was the first one I ever bought, and it's still in my daily rotation. It is a slightly cooler vape than the smaller ones, which is great for certain juices, times of the day, and during colds and flu's. The wickhole size is a nice 3.5mm. This wicks awesomely! D16= the Temon atty. This atty was built with the Temon in mind, and looks fabulous together. (Temon is one of his small 14**** size mod holders). It has a great warm vape, is easier to set up than the D14, a little bit tighter space than the D20, and is a huge favorite with all the vapers who've tried it. It's comparable in vape to the coveted and hard to get HellFire attys, yet easier to set up. That says a lot! It looks nice on all mods, and holds 3.0ml of juice. The wickhole diameter is 3.4mm, just as nice as it's bigger D20 brother for all your wicking pleasures. D14= the Mini DID. The Mini DID is the smallest of the family, at 14mm diameter. It fits the Twists/Spinners beautfiully, yet also looks nice on all mods. It has a beautiful warm vape, juice tastes great, and the wickhole is a nice 2.8mm believe it or not, on the tiny 14mm size base. (most tiny gennies like this avg 1.8-2.1). I'd be lost without my Mini, I really love it. It holds 2.0ml of juice. It is a lot smaller than the others, less roomy for learning curved newbies and big knuckles, but once mastered, it's a piece of cake. It has a thumbscrew refill screw, which can be replaced with a flat screw for big knuckles or flat ribbon wire, or just because. I prefer the thumbscrew myself, because it makes it easier to refill on the go. (no tools needed). Gemini = D14 but with a larger juice tank. It will hold 2.5ml of juice. It's almost the transformer of the family, because the tank can be put on upside down or right side up. This one looks great on the larger mods, like the Poldiac or Roller, or what have you. D22= the next one to be released soon. 22mm, with SS cover over a pyrex tank. (that's all I know so far, and everyone's on pins and needles awaiting it's arrival on the shelves). The DID series is Stainless Steel, safe for all juices. You can also pick up glass/pyrex tanks from IbTanked and also at MMVapors if preferred. All wickholes are aligned perfectly away from the negative and positive post both, for fewer hassles with hot spots. The AIRhole in the top cap is precision drilled so that it always lines up with the wick. The caps are twist on, and won't come off at whim. They're great for travel and at home both. I sound like a saleslady lol. But, I do love the DID series, they're built like a tank, and will outlast whatever I put it through. Yes, they're a bit pricey, compared to the china productions, but they are built to last. You still need to change out the insulators from time to time as they wear out (once a year or so), but overall, they're indestructable. The China productions, AGA-T+/2 are a lot cheaper for learning the curves on, and should hold up to daily wear and tear pretty well now that they are made out of SS. The insulators are stronger than when they first came out, but they're not top quality by any means. (expect to replace those right away). The wickholes are small, and most vapers are drilling them out larger in order to get a better vape. (easy to do). You'll probably want to pick up a couple of SS washers at size 2.5mm I believe, in order to lessen the top coil hot spot. It used to be difficult finding the spare parts for these, but gradually more and more vendors are finally carrying some. (hoosiervapes ie). The DID (MMVapors) will be less aggravating to set up without hot spots and dry wicks than the AGA-T+, but the AGA-T+ will be cheaper to learn on. It's a tough call. Either one can be a great big pia on any given day, lol, but the DID has fewer pia days because it is more precisely thought out in terms of spacial relations, wick sizes, airhole size, ...the whole 9 yards. BUT, you can, like I said, find a fix for all the AGA-T quirks on youtube, so... .. have fun!! Get both. You know you will anyway.

Great answers! I believe you'll be happier with the highest ohm's you can find. The Twists/Spinners have pulsating heat which carries a good wallop with great vapor. Sometimes too great of a wallop. I like the higher ohms on mine and I still leave it down in the 4.0-4.2 range. You might find the same, or you might find you can increase yours even higher. The ohms will vary, even if they're all in the same package labeled as 2.8. If you increase your volts, it will be equivalent to using a lower resistant ohm. (as was illustrated earlier). Go for it! Try them at various volts, and find your sweet spot with these.

I have BreakTru's on my pc, (ejuice me up) and on my phone is "Ejuice Calculator". Are these the ones you're talking about or is there another one I should try too?

I'm so glad this was resolved! Thank you Cloud for all your help, and for experimenting on the device itself to test it's wrapping limits. Not only is the diameter of the wick pertinent, so is the height. I think I now know why the 3.0 ohm Viva Nova replacement heads are so impossible to find.

I even bought a kit a few years ago, but I chickened out and could never literally get started. I'm hyped, more prepared, (reading your posts here as well as posts from all over the various forums) and now my sleeves are rolled up and ready to go. Can't wait for my new supplies to come in. (can't find my old kit, it's in storage somewhere..). I'll try 3 variations of the Amber & Banana Cream... 1. Amber heavy, 2. Amber medium. 3. Amber light... (which, of course, makes the Banana Cream the teeter totter balance). Yum eh!

I can't find it.

He told me that he's never tried for 3.0 ohm with twisted 28awg, preferring the LR coils for his particular vaping setups. He suggests using a higher resistance wire to begin with, such as the 32awg, CloudWizard, Rixter, myself, all use the SS mesh wick genesis style attys, and these are a different diameter/radius to wrap than your VN. It makes it more difficult to come up with a concrete answer for you. But, with that said, he provided all the basic information needed in order to begin experimenting. Do you have 32awg available? 28awg is a low resistance wire. Twisted wire lowers the resistance of any awg wire even more so, yet it takes a bit longer to warm up than the single strand does. It also pops less because it is stronger. The normal 32awg wire, for instance, takes a good 6 wraps to make the VV mods happy, usually ohming in at around 2.0 to 2.5. (depends on if the wick is thin, medium or fat). The thinner the wick, the more wraps needed. A concrete answer calls for a VN specialist I'm afraid. Sorry. But it was great to learn about the differences between Kanthal and Nichochrome(sp), and the different gauges of wire. Even the flat ribbon wire was introduced. This info will be, and is, important for any rebuildable type of atty. We'll have to delve deeper into the VN underworld for a precise answer to your question.

Oh yes, I have lots of bottles from www.specialtybottle.com/. Bought those first thing. Plus, I still have tons of empty bottles from storebought juices that can be cleaned and repurposed. Those combos sound great! It looks like I'm going to be doing just fine until I can get more flavors stocked. Any tip on what to add to the grape for a good grape flavor?
