  1. YW You'll love it!!!! It's everything they say it is, built solid and the menu is EASIER than they say it is. I love the menu and I have chronic CRS. Congrats, and be sure to let us know (pics please!) as soon as you get yours!
  2. The Innokin iTaste VV version 3 with VW and passthrough This is one I'll be saving up for! They're not expensive, about 50 for the kit with the iClear's added. I love the retractable charger! I hope they are as sturdy as they look and stand the test of time. I already want to recommend them to others lol. Patience dear, patience.
  3. You definitely need to learn the basic safety steps before considering purchase. 1. Childproof safety caps 2. gloves, goggles, aprons, long sleeves, 3. well ventilated room 4. all pets and children locked in the other room with the xbox and a grandma 5. ejuice calculator for exacting measurements. 6. the importance of washing down with hot sudsy water immediately all surfaces and any drips or spills. I am brand new to DIY and chose to make things much easier on myself by starting out with 150mls of 18mg unflavored nicotine, pg base. This way, I can concentrate on the flavorings as I learn the ropes. I also have a bottle 24mg ready for when I am ready to dilute it halfway (easy to calculate down to 12mg) and I also have glass bottles stored in the freezer. Not everyone needs it this easy, but I sure do. Starting with 60mg is a little more calculating, like Kit said, but easy enough for folks like Kitsune and the average math person. (I'm not so average at math). There are several calculators for phone and pc available. BreakTru has one listed here in the forum, complete with recipes and the works. BreakTru has a great calculator.
  4. I'm looking forward to payday so I can try them out too. The feedback is +1 so far, and I love the concept of this amazon/mall type of shopping.
  5. Right on! Be sure to keep us updated on it.
  6. Menthol/mint will have that cooler feeling too. A lot of flavors use a touch of menthol to help bring out the main flavor of your vape.
  7. You most certainly can. But, adapters weaken the experience a little. Not a whole lot, but a little. But then, with the adaptable Spinner, all should be back to normal.
  8. SteelJan makes a water resistant mod here. She would be a great modder to contact. (I didn't watch the video).
  9. JollyRogers made a mod out of a military grade/waterproof case before. It's hard to believe a Modder hasn't made waterproof ones mainstream, for swimmers, hikers, boaters, monsoons seasons, half our lives are spent in the water. I would ask various modders to make one and see what you end up with in designs and prices.
  10. Yeh, what Joe said. Oh, and the Volts now have clearomizers, etc... so you're no longer stuck with having to refill cartos, but they still have those too for those who prefer them still.
  11. I think the EVO coils will fit the Kanger ProTank system. OP, I try to recommend both the KPT and the VNv2 because some like it tight, some like it airy, some like both at different times of the stress level day. Sometimes I just plumb forget to recommend the KPT because I don't have one on hand, and I forget all about them. I'm not much for airy draws, but there are ways around that. Just wrapping an 0-ring over the airholes works, roll it up, roll it down, til it's just right. (cover all 4 holes 3/4 of the way or however you like it).
  12. I found a Vamo manual at ebooks. I've never used eBooks, but It's probably an ok place. http://ebookbrowse.com/160441d1355535080-vamo-vv-vw-v2-user-manual-download-vamo-vv-vw-mod-v2-user-guide-pdf-d452749904
  13. LOL, me too CE!! Good find, though, that Zorbas! I hadn't run across that one yet. Can't wait til the first so I view the review.
  14. Waiting on a small order of MadMurdocks special flavor. Happy Birthday Synther!!!
  15. SmokelessImage has come out with a Volt Spinner. http://smokelessimage.com/batteries/voltspinner/volt-spinners.html QUOTE from SI site: The ALL NEW ADVANCED LEVEL Variable Voltage VOLT SPINNER! This battery is not recommended for beginners. Beginners looking for longer battery life may want to start with an X2 battery that works perfectly with all of our cartomizers and clearomizers. Available in Manual and Auto! The VOLT VV SPINNER is one of the latest variable voltage style battery made today. The VOLT Spinner Battery allows you to adjust voltage output from 3.3v ~ 4.8v by spinning the knurled dial at the bottom. Available in 650, 900 and 1300 mAh sizes. NOTE: Charger sold separately. Please read full description for more information such as proper chargers and setting to use with this device. (picture looks just like the Vision Spinners in their range of colors and sizes, except of course, it's an 808*)
  16. Oh gosh, I did toss a heavy sentence or two out there didn't I. LOL Sorry about that. I've so got to take a breath now and again. Thanks for bearing with me and ... for your compliments as well. LOL, that made me giggle. I'm no expert, believe me. Vision Spinner is a must have. Vamo is a great VV/VW affordable mod. (if you have good memory for how to access the menu). (it's also way tall and kind of awkward in public. You'll appreciate your Spinner in public, trust me). Made in China. Mini Provari V2 is VV and rocks the house with the easiest to use menu because you don't have to memorize anything, just push the one button. It's built to last through the WWZ too. Made in America. Expensive, but worth every penny. Mechanical Mod's have no wires, no electronics and nothing to break but springs which are easily replaceable. Yet, with a gadget called a "Kick" you can turn it into a Variable Watt wonder. (set the watts and your atomizer becomes your favorite sweet spot vape no matter what it's OHMs is). I'll stop here. promise!
  17. Patricia, a few of my mods were gifted to me from friends that I've met on the forums, and others I won in contests around the various forums and the others I bought at half price. I use them all too! In 3 years time your collection will be even sweeter than mine. storing eliquid? Keeping the flavored eliquid in a cool dark place is favored. I've kept in igloos on the cool floor, and in the fridge both, and the igloo wins hands down. Non-flavored nic base needs to go in glass bottles in the freezer.
  18. Thanks Patricia, I like them too. One of these days I'll round them all up for a group shot. Oh, about 3 years now I think. (I have chronic CRS for things like numbers, and other stuff I can't remember right now). Here's a new photo shot of my dailys. Thanks to BluCavvy for my Mini Provari V2 and to CloudWizard for my Chimbus. Cloud set the Chimbus up with 0.6 flat ribbon coil and man oh man does it snap crackle and pop out the flavor and vapor. I should apologize for the fingerprints ... but... nah...

The IGO-L can handle about 20 drops. (the moister it is, the less drops, of course). Just take off the drip tip, squeeze in a good 15-20 drops, replace the tip and vape away. Congrats on your first RDA!! (rebuildable dripping atomizer). You chose a nice one! It's pretty easy to set up and there are lots of youtube tutorials to help you. I like to take my new rebuildables apart, clean them with pga (vodka), dry thoroughly, then set up and vape. Washing them removes any machining or handling residues. The machining oil taste can be awful. Even if there is no "oil" per say, the odor from the machining can linger. Us sensitives can taste that smell.
  20. LOL!! It's my pleasure to take the blame whenever I can. :vapor:
  21. All good suggestions. Personally, I would save up for a Mini Provari V.2 (the V.2 has stronger amps). The boys are right, you can't go wrong with a Provari V2. If you also want regulated, you can always pick up a DNA12 Kick for your mechanical mods. Today they have a new DNA20 Kick that is kicking butt. The DNA20 Kick now comes in Box mods and in Tube mods, either one. (have to get on a list though). The original Kick, the DNA12, can still be bought at most stores (Altsmoke for instance) and DIY inserted into most mechanical mods. The new DNA20 Kick is difficult, not a DIY project unless you're a modder. The original DNA12 just plunks right in. Very user friendly. The advantage of the kick? It lets you vape at your preferred wattage no matter the atomizer's ohms, and the coils will not pop. This is so handy for those who have stockpiles of odds and ends atomizers/cartomizers etc, hanging around. It's also good for a satisfying vape. I love vaping with a fresh-ish battery, and the Kick lets me vape at that "freshness" until the battery is low, and then it quits. Without the Kick, the vape gets weaker and weaker as the battery gets weaker. You probably know all this already, but ... well, we all know me. & my ramblings..
  22. Have you become an avid collector my dear? You're in good company. Can't wait til my Nahual is finished! Take your time. Once you start in, there's no going back. Except, of course, you'll keep the Clearo's for taking to the bar or anywhere you don't want to lose your precious babies. And you'll need to vape one while you're setting one up... unless of course, you have a fine collection of RBA's ready to vape while you're changing one out. Hey! I resemble that remark!
  23. She can always vape non-flavored, if she's that sensitive. Main thing is getting off the tobacco cigarettes so the body begin it's non-smokers healing rituals. Me? I'm a flavor nut, need lots of flavoring in mine. As long as it's keeping me off the cigarettes, and helping me to cut down on the nicotine doses (mg), I'm a happy camper. To me it's much safer than eating tomato sauce base canned goods (raviolis, etc) or boxed Mac-n-cheeses that our youngsters demand at least once a week or they bring out their hobo sticks. Why the FDA allows these things on the food shelves is beyond me. They are killing our kids!
  24. You're a lucky mom to have such a thoughtful daughter. I'm glad you liked it enough to start researching for something that is more suiting to your needs. The suggestions suggested are good ones. I switched to vaping 3 years ago, with the eGo and today I use the eGo Twist and the Vision Spinner. They're all great little batteries. The Twist & the Spinner lets you dial the power up for more ooomph whenever you want to. Tork it or mild it, either way. You can vape your eliquid at 3.7volts (mild-ish) clear on through the numbers til you reach 4.8volts. Most of us prefer 3.8volt or 4.2, depending on our eliquid at the moment, or the time of day. I like the Viva Nova clearomizer thingie on mine. It's easy to fill, provides great flavor, and you can get replaceable coils for when the coils give out on you. Great little gadget that holds quite a bit of eLiquid to get you through many many hours without having to refill. The ProTank is a good one too. I use to enjoy the Boge Cartomisers. You can even get these pre-filled at places like eCigXpress.com (they have empty ones too, for you to put your own flavors in). The cartomisers are pretty easy to use. I always dreaded refill day though. Oh, it wasn't hard to do, I just wished to spend my time doing other things. Today I spend hours with the RBA. Close your ears, you don't want to hear about these yet. But when you're ready for them, there's nothing better.
  25. What a lovely spot to be, at any time. Lucky bum!!
