  1. The ones you chose are great! I tossed in the Richman, because it's a lot like the AGA-T-+ but better. Lots of improvements actually. Oh, and because it's a 22mm size, meaning it looks like it was built with your avg mod in mind.. making it look like a Hybrid. Mine cost 30 bucks, shipped from Hawaii. Fast shipping too, only took a few days. Here's the RichmanVapors site. I'm sure he'll be back in stock soon. Be sure to click on the "Notify me when back in stock" link, that's under the price info. Even though it's heavy, it looks sweet on my Mods. I'll get used to the weight, I know I will. If I don't get along with it though, I'll for sure keep you in mind.
  2. BACKWOODSBREW is one of the mainstay vendors of brews. They have great business, because they have great flavors mixes and they have great customer service. (they used to mix the best RY4 in the business too, so keep and eye on that now empty slot). The coolest part about BWB though, is their COLOR CHART. Yep, they have a color chart that informs the customer of how light or dark the flavor they are interested in is. Why do they do this? Because the darker flavors are the richest, but the darker flavors also gunk up the attys the fastest. Until you have a stash of backup attys/cartos, dark isn't for you. Get that stashpile built!!! The darker flavors are soooooo worth it. I'm not saying the lighter flavors aren't worth it. No way. There are some fantastic light ones out there too. A LOT of fantastic light ones, like Mountain Dew, etc.. BWB went the extra mile to ensure that your one and only atty lives to see another day. By selecting the lightest color juices, this helps to ensure that. As far as I know, this is the only Vendor that does this. Here is a screenshot. This flavor chosen is a #2 on the lightness scale.
  3. and this reminds me I need a new battery for my laptop. Wow IMedic, he was extremely lucky you were there when that happened! Right on.
  4. OMG! I don't know how you do it! I tried a swig once about a year ago, and I'm still gagging lol. I'll be sure to lock up my cleaning vodka if I hear you're in town.
  5. Ohhhh fun!!! I can't wait til Canadian Exotic and the others see this thread! We caught a live one Martha!!! All kidding aside, good for you, and welcome to the club. There are so many new affordable ones coming out weekly, it's hard to keep up. Fortunately, they are affordable enough to try another if one size/style/setup doesn't quite suit you. The two you've chosen to start with, should be just fine. Good choices! Another one to consider is the Richman RBA, ...it's huge and heavy, but pretty and as far as I know it is easy to set up. I have one, but haven't set it up yet... because it's so huge, and heavy ... lol. But, I'm used to the smaller ones, like my mini Did and stuff. The Richman is the size of my Roller, except heavier, lots of room for knuckles to work in. I'm sure there's a video on youtube by now, and I would suggest watching a few to see if it's for you or not. Oh cool, here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG11YBX2o3Y I'll let CE tell ya about the RSST And the others about the others.
  6. GoodLifeVapor has been receiving a lot of good praise lately, for many of their flavors, and the prices as well. Thought I'd pass it along here.
  7. LOL, surely not the cheap vodka that we use for cleaning. (I use UV for this, tastes like kerosene lol). I can't imagine wanting to drink much of that stuff! For those who might have that issue though, there are other solutions, like an UltraSonic cleaner or hot sudsy bath & sun baked dry or ... I use Vodka for spritzing the air even, works nicer than Febreeze and without the febreeze smells. For lemonaide and hot chocolate, I much prefer a few dollaps of cherry flavored Grey Goose Vodka.
  8. vapcigs ? Never heard of em before. Why didn't they research before buying? Impulsive purchase? Get it while they're thinking about trying it? If it's a knock off, I hope they go out of business. If it's actually good quality, I wish them the best. Chargers should have built in overcharging protection. So should the eCigs. That's one of the things I love about the Provari. Not only does the Provari have tons of built in protection, so does the battery charger I use, the iCore intelli-charger v2. The iCore charger is great for all my IMR batteries for all my Mods.
  9. Welcome to VT!! Congrats on making the switch over from nasties, you've come to the right place to help you with your journey into the life of the non-smoker! For now, you just want to concentrate on getting an eCig that is more powerful than your beginning one. The one you have right now is probably a 3.3volt style. They're great for starting out, or when you have a cold, but otherwise they leave the Vaping ex-smoker still needing more ooomph. The Variable Volt eGo Twist or the Vision Spinner either one is the one I'd recommend. The Spinner has larger numbers, is easier to read the voltage dial, so I put more emphasis on it, otherwise they're about the same thing. You will need at least 2 batteries and 1 charger devoted to the the Spinner. The Variable Volt, aka VV, lets you dial your power from 3.3volt clear up through to 4.8volts. Even us old veterans of vaping have these in our arsenal, because they really do work great, they're easy and affordable to replace when they get lost, broke or dead. Start every new to you flavor at 3.3, and gradually increase the volts until the flavor is there. Every flavor enjoys a different setting, yet they are all mostly okay, of course, at any one setting. The iTaste VV version 3 is also a contender for beginners ready for VV. It's brand new on the market though, so I can't truely recommend it, I don't know how long it will live,... but with that said... get one! lol. It even has Variable Watt (VW) But, you'll need to learn what VW is and you're still learning VV ... but they are both really easy to learn once you dive in to learn them. VV= variable volt... you can dial your volts, increase or decrease your oooooomph to suit. These work best with a high resistance OHM coiled atomizer, and okay with the standard OHM coiled atomizer. (or cartomizer or clearomizer). The ooomph will gradually decrease as the battery dies out, ready for recharging. VW= variable watt. ..you can dial your watts, increase or decrease your oooomph to suit. These work best with well, just about any OHMs you give it except anything below 1.2 resistance I believe it is. (need that clarified). The oooomph stays put, does not lessen at all as the battery is dying out, until the last 2 puffs. It's good from start to finish. The VW will adjust any atty/carto you put on it, to vape at your preferred setting. (8 watts is a popular setting but by no means the setting for everyone. Some like 10, some like 20)). The VV gives you a headsup as the battery is dying, the VW gives you steadyness til the last puff. The ITaste VV version 3 also has VW... it's up to you to power select any time you want. Choose the VV or select the VW, or switch back and forth throughout the day as you change atomizers/cleromizers/cartomizers. Confused already? I bet you are! Just get the Vision Spinner kit or the eGo Twist kit, vape, get used to the VV, and then while you're relaxing with your new preferred power for your flavor & or vapor, you can contentedly research for your next choice. The choices are endless. Or, you can just jump to the best VV ecig out there called the Provari, vape happily away while you research vw, vv/vw, nivel, dna12, dna20 and gawd knows what will be out next. (it really is the best, in craftsmanship, menu readout, safety features, customer service, etc). TheVeteranVaper at While I was there, I saw the EVIC... yet another nice one. ... new this past year, but pretty darn popular and cool. VaporTalk just opened an Amazon type of marketplace, where many Vendors are joining together for one stop shopping. Keep checking back, they will grow and grow until one day they will be a household word. http://vaportalk.com/marketplace/ There are of course, tons of Vendors to shop with. I don't know who has the best deal at the moment. A few of the popular vendors out of hundreds is: MadVapes, CherryVapes, CarolinaVapes, Gotvapes, Sweet-Vapes, AvidVaper, electronicstix, cloudsofvapor, etc... You can google reviews of each vendor too, and get a balanced idea of how well any misunderstandings were handled or not. All of this is too much for one post. But, you said you don't have time to research. I laid it out, in one post so you can easily find it again when you're ready. I apologize if this is way too much too soon.
  10. What a great chart!!! Brian!! Remember when you used to post battery charts and still had to decipher for me? Do you do wire?
  11. I DID it!! I DID it!! Finally, I clicked that purchase button at AVC, and even got some fancy drip tips to boot.
  12. Welcome to VT and a huge Congrats to both of you!!! and, I hate to say it, but CanadianExotic is right... but you'll be fine as long as you don't look at such beautiful new things like the Nemesis, or the Roller, or the new Provair bottom feeder, or the Paps lux2, or the Poldiac, the RBA's, or the OMG I won't even say it, or you'll be kicking me in the butt all the way to you know where. .... Have fun, like we do, and you'll always come out the winner!! A broke winner yes, but a winner!!
  13. Vodka or everclear will also wisk the water away faster after a hot bath if you decide it needs a bath/rinse first. .
  14. Fixed it for ya Brian. (I didn't even notice until you mentioned the error in a later post). Nice comparison, makes it easy to see and grasp. Thanks Brian!
  15. Yesterday I had my first burnt taste with a VivaNova. Been vaping on this one, off and on, for a few months now. What an awful surprise that was. Talk about nasty! Wait for it... wait.... I understand the BCC's gurgle at certain levels, and the levels differ with the different liquid mixes. But other than that, no burnt happenings have been reported (that I've seen).
  16. Welcome to VT, LW!! I've heard good reports about a place with Highbrow in the title, but I don't know if it's the same one, and I never did get around to trying them. Let us know how you get on with them, always good to hear of another quality vendor.
  17. Finally hit "purchase" on an iTaste VV version 3 plus some new drip tips I couldn't resist. (Aquavaporcig.com) I think this is going to be the new beginners kit to highly recommend, can't wait to see if my noobie neighbor thinks so too.
  18. Oh wow, good for you!! That's been on my wish list too. Love the carbon style, the size, ... please keep us updated on how well it works (or doesn't) for you.
  19. I really should get one of these MVP VV's, when it comes out, living off grid and all the way I do. Yep. I should. :::off to cook (oh hell, is it bake??) an apple pie to prep hubby after yesterday's wallet drain:::::
  20. GrantsVanillaCustard.com http://www.grantsvanillacustard.com/ Nuff said.
  21. It sounds like you're rolling in the good tips and tricks, not much for me to add, except for a draw tip. When newbies take a draw, have them let some escape their mouth before inhaling. This will help to relieve the cough. Also, have them hold the button for only a second or maybe two, depending on your setup. Us vets are vapor hogs, but if we remember back to the good old first toots we ever had before our lungs began their stop-smoking healing process, we couldn't handle it at all either. (most of us). OHH, and the other day, I found a bottle of lime/cherry/? Zero nic and was quite impressed at how deeply I could inhale it. I still can't inhale the nicQuid very deeply to this day. (way too many years of smoking, although my lungs have improved tremendously since I switched over to vaping, they still have layers of tar to expel). Maybe setting up a clearomizer/carto with zero nic for the cougher's to try? Or 6mg? Backup to your backup...
  22. I was so addicted to Pina Colada for a good 6 months. Couldn't get enough of it. And then one day I did. Haven't touched it since lol. I'll have to revisit that one this year.
  23. While we're on the subject (Provari), check out this new gadget that turns the Provari into a bottom feeder. Way awesome. (but ouch price). It's at about 0011:30 into the video. (at the beginning-ish)
