  1. Is there a write up where we can see the line up of topics and guests or happenings? Looks interesting...
  2. Classic beauty. Would look nice in the Den. ::: off to build a den ::::
  3. Jeeeze that long note was amazing (as were all the notes!)... but also annoying for my old ears lol. The rest rocked though. Beautiful song too. You guys sure know where to find the great ones! Thanks Dave! Weathered the storm (what little of it happened!) just fine and dandy.
  4. haha, I do the same thing from time to time... mostly accidenatally for me though. Found myself singing along with the radio the other day while driving home. Buck Owens and Dwight Yokums "Here on the Streets of Vaporsville". It took me a good 5 miles to realize that it was "Bakersville, not Vaporsville" lol. I've known that song for forever, but it just clicked like it was orig. You have some nice lines there!! Keep it up!
  5. Wow Jeff, your Sweet Dawn shows promise. This is fun MIke! Wish I had input.. but will just read along and wait for the music to happen. I'd have to write a Punk rock song at this time in my life. I'm still so angry at the tax man for robbing us so blind we couldn't spend any money elsewhere to help stimulate the economy. (analog taxes). I'm still furious with town officials and business owners who refuse to treat struggling smokers with respect. They don't want smokers anywhere near anywhere in town or apt. The designated areas were fantastic for everyone. Now those are taboo because they can taboo them. I'm angry at how others treat others. I'd have to write a corny western ballad.... because I'm back to earth, I'm a living breathing human being again since I started vaping. Buck Owens and Dwight Yokums "How many of you can sit and judge me, here on the streets of Vaporsville.... " lol. But, hey... I'd have to write an exciting rock and roll song, full of life and fun. Vaping all summer long lol. Because that what life is again, is fun. Even with all the other genre's still running through my veins, the rock and roll one is loud and strong. And the beat goes on.... and the vape goes on.... oh dear. Like I said, I'll just read and wait for the music to happen. You guys rock!
  6. LOL Dave! It was my pleasure. Whoa Mike! That was awesome! I'm glad you found that riff.. I couldn't find anything under my secluded search for the song. I'm off to the magic mountain to prepare for tomorrows big storm. Will read when phone reception is good, but hate posting from my cell phone. Post some more links, this is great!!
  7. What exciting news! With you being the king of new beginnings and with spring just around the corner, I'm going to go with March 20th... the first day of Spring. now go watch some documentaries and get some sleep while you have a chance!
  8. Taking a sip of water before a vape helps achieve a better TH... I even get TH off of some 0mg's... like mint chocolate chip... maybe it's the mint or maybe it's the dab of the leftover tobacco24 in the atty.... but I get a gentle TH. (gentle is the keyword). But I don't mind at all, and I'm vaping 0nic during my "habit" times and 24mg for nicotine times of the day. The 0nic does have more vapor too, which is fun and satisfying in it's own way. Don't be afraid to try it. Weaning is the keyword here too. Having both really helps.
  9. Here's the guy with the report: http://www.youtube.com/user/zigcigs?blend=2&ob=1#p/u/10/xOSlqFmGelM Found him on Zigcigs site first.
  10. Will miss your posts Snubber. Stay warm and hurry back and fill us in about your new toys.
  11. Did anyone else notice how the photos in the news (a few weeks ago) about the snow in Britian and New England looked eerily similiar to the movie "Day After Tomorrow" with Dennis Quaid? :::insert Twilight music here::::
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALVjwR3dFE8 Great memory Dave! Not Metallica, but he's not shabby. Fascinating to watch.
  13. haha, so true, and I have a trick for that because I have only 1 atty in use until I can get more attys. What works for me is to move on around the flavor wheel until the mint has left completely. The two main flavors that go with just about anything are Tobacco and Coffee. If you add Coffee to your mint, you're halfway there to the next step already. Add chocolate and now you have mint chocolate coffee. Add tobacco and you have heaven. Add coffee again, and then tobacco and then coffee and then tobacco (555), another flavor of tobacco (hilton), & then another flavor of tobacco(TT). You're done, and got to enjoy every last drop. If you don't like coffee... hmmmm, well, I don't know what to substitute with. I don't trust anybody who doesn't like coffee, so you're on your own there.
  14. One of the videos on Todd's website mentions Brians concern. In the 1940's they tested it on monkeys (sucks, but that was then not now ok), and super over dosed them to simulate accumulated time of use... then autopsied them... and there was not one single problem anywhere. No sign. No problem. Nada. (the video is the one where we follow the guy who starts vaping to quit analogs)
  15. hmmm, I wonder if a photo (wallpaper on the pc?) of the fushia joker with the green diamond led and the phraze "wouldn't you rather be smoking something beautiful?" work. OR maybe a photo of a deep purple Chuck with the gorgeous butterflies or unicorn or... Or better yet... maybe if you just purchase a pretty one, then leave it on the dresser or desk and share that it's "too pretty to use, I don't think I want it. Maybe I'll send it back or give it away."..... Good luck to you guys. Keep the faith...
  16. My family sure notices the sweet flavors, and loves it. Bananna, Pina Colada, Cappachino, etc... in close quarters smells wonderful. Today I vaped strawberry cheescake and the entire rv smelled great lol. It scared me though, when I thought about summer bees. I might save the sweeter ones for winter doldrums.
  17. I thought it was a joke... somebody playing with our heads, somebody making fun of the fda and anti-ecig groups. I still can't believe anyone would seek to become more and more addicted to nicotine like the poster suggested he/she wanted to do. I replied but it took all my willpower to be civil. (gosh, I hope I was civil!). I've had lots of kids ask me about my new ecig, not for themselves but for their parents and friends who smoke analogs. They've been trying to get their loved ones to quit for so long and they are amazed that m'oi quit. Their hopes and belief are high for the first time in their lives. A few weeks ago, after one of the kids went home after visiting with our family, he told his Mom all about my new ecig. A few days ago I ran into her & she couldn't stop asking me questions about it, and with every answer I gave her, she would say "Yes! That's what J was saying!" etc. She was very impressed, with the ecig sure, but also with her son. Needless to say, I'll be doing the shopping for her soon. Her son wanted to gift her one, but being a minor he can't. I'm still undecided whether that's a good clause or a bad one.
  18. My hubby had a Martin.. beautiful guitar and sound, & yes sensitvie too. He ended up gifting it to another friend of ours who took it with him to Nashville to make his first gospel album. Never regretted that one bit, it went to a great guy, and it even got to play along with a famous gospel band while he was out there. (they did his backup!). I love hearing happy stories about guitars, and yours makes me happy too. Your Fretless guitar sounds fun! Can't wait to hear your updates about it. Is it difficult to get a "feel" for it? I'd be fretting without frets lol. Mike! I love your music, even bookmarked your playlist on my toolbar. I believe you guys will be travelling quite a bit before you know it. Ha! Hey McQuinn, another Bluegrass appreciater! Mike, do you still find it in your roots? I never could play the Banjo... tried a time or two, ... but I did a great clawhammer style on my Ovation... fun picking the melody while thumbing the base runs and strumming the beat. It was easy then... today I can't even strum haaha, sad but true. Too many days gone by. Hawked the Ovation to pay the old elec bill decades ago and never had the heart to pick up another.
  19. Good to see the Joker on that website's list. Holding my breath anxiously waiting for the Maahmba(sp) & the MrPuffer & the ... to appear too.
  20. I agree, I hope President Obama gives it a try, for his own good if not for ours. I thought he had quit analogs, but according to a recent news article he's still quitting. Makes ya want to sit him down and say "just start vaping and see what happens, you'll be pleasantly surprised that you've quit smoking cigarettes!". But to get that opportunity would be a miracle. But then again the eCIG is a miracle... Obama is a miracle.... Do several miracles make another miracle? If the Senators ecig didn't get his attention... maybe he needs his mailroom flooded with them...
  21. Even easier is this way that Dogsbody came up with: or Doctor Vapors spinning way is good too: Care and feeding part 1-2 & 3 (#3 is Dogsbody's way which he likes even better). Can't wait to get some Chris!
  22. Bummers about your wrist. Congrats on getting a neat consolation prize, the jantyv3! Here's a question. Who cried throughout Kim Yu Na's entire performance?
  23. Oh for sure totally worth it!! Thanks for putting this up.
  24. Way sweet!! Congrats!! I used to play Bluegrass... had an Ovation guitar, loved it. Was in a small group of friends, we played constantly lol. Miss those good ol' days. Never played electric, so don't know any answers. Hope your recuperation goes swimmingly well.
