  1. I swear Chris has a teleport machine... you'll see soon enough. ha! I hear you. I have both the ego and the SB and love them both for different reasons, but I confess that I swing more towards the eGo than the SB. Can;t wait to try other mods and see where my swing sets.
  2. Thanks for that TheRealAlucard!
  3. Sweet!!! Congrats on your new eGo!! Did you get the gold or black one with their logo? I love the mega atty too, (just be careful to NOT refill completely after the 2x refill. The polyfill doesn't hold up well enough and will more than likely drain all over you. But it won;t mind 10-20 drop refills. Arno rocks!
  4. That means the FDA sent the "how to make us happy" letter to the 5 in question plus 1 letter to the ECA which no longer exists. right? I remember a long time ago... about 5 months back, when threads were popping up left and right at ecf (I lurk there trying to understand diy and mods) from posters inquiring "what if we could have our vitamins, etc included in our mix? would that be vapable?" ect. I thought it was looney at the time and didn't pay much attention. Looks like some actuallly got too exhuberant and did indeed forget the legalities and so forth. I hope that's all this was about. So far, it looks like the makers were trying to make customers happy... not fooled like I first assumed. I hope they all learn their lesson and we can all go back to normal. What a day.
  5. After the survey, I remembered a symptom that I should have mentioned in the comment box. PAD symptoms disappeared! No longer have PAD or whatever that iron rod in the leg behind the knee is called. Hopefully if somebody else taking the survey and reads this will have same experience and remember to include it in the questionaire.
  6. Sometimes I wonder if their goal is to ban cigarettes.
  7. It's a tricky declaration to make anyway, because in all honesty, most of us have only put our smoking on "pause" while we enjoy our working ecigs.
  8. but what if we decide to extract our nicotine from other sources than tobacco?
  9. sure, you can drip via the empty cart... I'm just spoiled with drip tips and if there's no drip tip, I'm not dripping. Didn't think my thoughts all the way through for you. sorry.
  10. yet, someone said the president of ECA had quit and the group scattered. (over at ecf). I didn't read the entire thread, just a glimpse. That's the ONLY letter the FDA sent out? The ONLY person/group they sent it out to? ... My head hurts. i feel like I'm sitting on a spinning barstool. Will reread later
  11. When I first joined VT, I read a sticky thread that listed possible side effects of vaping, both pro's and con's from trusted sources, the vaporers themselves. Would the FDA be calmed if the vendors included such a "warning" on their sites and liquids? I can't believe JC did something wrong. I haven't decided on the other 4, mainly because I don't know who the heck they are. do you?
  12. If they ban our "devices" then maybe it's only fair that we do a huge major sit in strike and demand for coffee cups, candy bar wrappers, ice cream scoops, Ice Tea glasses, tomatoes, etc be banned from our world.
  13. hmmm, but the drug "nicotine" HAS been approved and accepted... cigs, patches, gum, pills, .... they still don't make sense.
  14. Can't drip with the mega attys ... YET. (unless perhaps tailpiping). When the polyfill is new, it typically holds a full amount of ejuice. Refills take less juice because the polyfill doesn't have it;'s ooomph anymore. When it looses it's absorbing qualities, it might flood all over your hands... I'm anxiously awaiting the mega drip tip. These mega attys don't flood near as easy as a regular one does....
  15. My hubby heard adds on the radio and one of the truckstops had an e-cig dvd on continuous play. He mentioned them to me at least 3 times over the summer before my curiosity peeked enough to research them. (I was very cynical/skeptical of them). Research led me to youtube's Chris and Sean and the rest is history (like others said).
  16. Amazing indeed! +1'd Along those lines is this newspaper article I discovered tonight. There is a comment section (hint hint) http://thehill.com/opinion/letters/58659-fdas-drug-and-e-cigarette-warnings-counterproductive?page=2#comments
  17. Tried to write a comment from the link given on the top of the forum here, but instantly felt too intimidated. What, how, do I say? The email itself throws me off when it states "Information about drug products currently in review at FDA is confidential. If you know the manufacturer/sponsor, please contact them directly. We try to respond to each question within 24 to 48 hours.". Help!
  18. Excellent points as well. But they're OUR invention.. the guy, Hun, invented them for us, the smoker, so that we would not die a horrible death like his father did. PM is the anti-us, they have no rights to our wrights right?
  19. Sad and true about the gov. But it was a fun brainstorm while it lasted.
  20. Scarey isn't it. But, it might be a route to take... and then the industry can regulate it's own. Licensing, testing, test kits that vapors can buy so they can test all bottles that arrive, ... I don't know. But there must be a way to self govern, self regulate, and be safe for all involved.
  21. I'm all for regulating the product, ensuring it's quality, but I have to agree with others who protest the "ban" of certain places instead of pulling their juice from the shelves. Pull their juice, make them adhere to strict guidelines, go get em tiger! But to ban them? Totally insane. I thought Supplements were kind of neutral territory. Isn't that why they're so lax with all the false claims by the diet and energy world? If so, would it be plausible to consider ejuice a supplement (even though it really does work and we're not supposed to claim that claim)... what a twisted world. grrrr
