Beachbum... It seems to me that you have fun conveying your thoughts. You state one thing, then clarify with an opposite. We all do that from time to time, but seldom is pleasure taken when things we say are misunderstood. You, on the other hand, seem to derive great pleasure. Did I already say that? So with that said... WHAT'S your point? Choices are simple. Light up enuff analogs, you get addicted to the whole shabang. Light up an electronic cigarette with nicotine, your get addicted to the whole shabang. Light up a zero nicotine analog you still inhale tar and 4000 ways to die.... (there are no ZERO nic analogs that I know of) and you become addicted to the "act" of smoking. Light up a 0nic e-cig and you don't inhale tar and 4000 ways to die, but surely you pick up a new POSSIBLE way or not, and you will become addicted to the "act". Keeping the addiction to just the "act" narrows the addictions that one has to break when they decide to break free from being addicted to anything at all. The choices are personal, the choices are individual. There's not a single person out there who doesn't know the powers of nicotine addiction and the hazards of smoking analogs. Do YOU know the risks involved with smoking analogs? How about with e-cigs? How about with Nicotine? With that said. Does SHE?? I find it hard to believe that any MATURE PERSON with normal IQ, in todays day and age, would DECIDE to START inhaling NICOTINE.... especially when there is ZERO NICOTINE avaiable. Welcome to VaporTalk, Cid! Hooray for your research into making the switch over to vaping. The 510 is quite nice, you'll be more than happy with it I'm sure. Cartridges vary from cart to cart. They usually come 5 to a pkg, and every single one of those 5 can vary. Some might be perfect for vaping, while another might be too tightly packed, and another too loosly. They are stuffed with a wicking material, fiberfill, that absorbs the eliquid and releases it slowly as we vape. You'll be really happy with one, and absolutely hate another. They hold 12-16 drops when brand new, and less with each refill. You can take the fiberfill out with a paperclip or pair of tweezers, dab it inside a papertowel or tissue, drop about 10 drops into your cart then restuff the filling back in, and top off til it's sparkly. (memorize what your prefilled ones looked like when first opened). Anytime the liquid won't drop onto the atty, (not getting any vapor), you can push the fluff down inside the cart with your paperclip or tweezers, then pull it back to normal position (right below the ridge) and it might vape okay. Chances are though that it won't and you'll end up taking the filler completely out and dripping from then on. Or going with cartomizers. Cartomisers are easier than carts by far. I use all of the above. I drip, use carts, use cartomizers. Carts allow me to test out mixes of eliquids without having to fill a cartomizer, and so forth. hmmmm, kind of long post. Hope I didn't scare you off!

I was vaping away on my eGo with a new atty that rocked. I thought, wow!, I'm going to try this on my SB/PT and see if it's even more awesome. POP!! Oh dear. Sure enough, it was an LR I had picked up by mistake. It took me over a week to get my contentedness back with the regulare attys, but I did it by golly! I have a few LR's stocked up for the future, but until I have more than a 30 on hand, I'm not "going there". nope nope. Too heartbreaking when they drop cold dead.

But what if I get my GLV3? I'm trying to swing for 4 lol. (Buzz, GLV3 when it comes out, Tekk Mod, Joker). I used to be really indecisive but now I'm not so sure...

eGo's rock! You can't go wrong with an ego. I highly recommend an eGo for beginners and novice alike. The XL batteries last an hour or two longer than the original battery. The eGo is especially well liked for the flavor it produces, as well as the nice vapor and battery life. It's a nice looking unit, easy to use, easy to hold and is elegant enough for a night out on the town. I misread your list of what you wanted from your vape earlier. The eGo will be great for both you and your Dad. Pick up some cartomizers to make it all easier, and you're good to go. Best of luck! The 2amp is perfect for my SB, and will replace having to use my battery while traveling. Either the 2amp or the 500mah will work and won't hurt my eGo/usb pt and I can vape while charging. Either the 2amp or the 500mah will work okay with my fast charger while charging it but not vaping my regular ego. right? lol. I think I'm 'getting" it by golly. Please correct if wrong.
