SmokeStik has an automatic that is Vacumn sensitive instead of the usual vibration sensitive types out there. It only comes on when you draw on it. The other automatic types come on if the wind blows or the radio rocks out, which will burn up your atty and deaden your battery. I have to agree with the others about the Joye 510. It's a nice unit, you can't go wrong, only better and better. I mentioned the http://www.smokestik.com/ because of the vacumn automatic, and because if Katherine Heigle(sp) is happy with it, then maybe others will be too. Seeing as money is no issue... can you purchase a smokestik and a Joye 510 and a Joye eGo and a GreenSmoke? Vape and review! We'd love to hear how they differ and how they work for you for various reasons. Maybe one is a great for Stealth vaping or parties or whatever you discover. Maybe one's better for stress days where we really need to draw hard. Maybe ones perfect for relaxing at home... We swear by Joye because, well, dang, they're a great product!! The best of the rest. Do a search for Joyetech and you'll be more in the know and perhaps a touch forgiving of zealous Joye product fanatics around the world. The GreenSmoke you asked about, has a tight draw, to my understanding. You'd have to try it yourself. The Mod Compare List that Brian has linked us to before talks about the awesome pool cue company made one. Hold tight til we refind that link! Well, I mean, go ahead and get all the above, and be sure to get this one too for those fancy parties... They're beautiful.

Like Christopher, I've always had overly sensitive teeth too. Thank goodness for Synsodine(sp) toothpaste! And, yes, there are certain sweet flavors that activate my sensitive teeth to no end... but once I realize it is mostly a trigger from past toothache pains.. it goes away!! It's very shortlived. whew. Hopefully yours will be that way too.

SmokeStick .... and the one by the Pool Stick maker that evades me but it might ring a bell with others. Beautiful pv's. But I don't know how they perform compared to my eGo because I've never purchased one. I think HyhonLife just purchased one, she'll be able to help you with that. I don't know if my pop is the exact same as your pop, but my Mega Atty does that... and I absolutely love it. It's not a shocker, it's a sign of a great working atty. I get tons of vapor and flavor with each pop on the tongue... it's like some kind of a small kick or something. Hard to explain, but it's not electric shock, of that I am positive. It's one pop, like an atomic release of full flavor and vapor.

Automatic batteries differ from Manual batteries I think. Something about a hole in the auto which makes the battery go bonkers..

If you're in between paydays and have some vodka laying around... pick up a nasal aspirator or two (nose bulbs). Vodka will disinfect, plus it dries faster than water. Take another bulb and force air dry the Vodka out, let it finish drying overnight .... then try refilling with eLiquid and vaping. (most alcohols will evaporate with heat, like cooking with wine. There shouldn't be any yippy left inside the carto, it should be safe enuff). Vodka is a disinfectect kind of sort of mostly, it dries fast, and it's a consumable. Tap water has minerals and rust and bacteria and chlorine and who knows what else from each indiviual faucet/town/well/spring/....

I don't know if they come in 'STARTER KITS'. But, if you buy one at goodprophets, and mention that you're a first time shopper with them and would like to try their 555 or Ry4, you will recieve a free 30ml(?) bottle of eLiquid. Welcome and congrats on your new eGo! The cart will hold about 12 drops the first time... and actually come prefilled with the kit. (except for the one that is pre-attached to the atty.. that's an empty cart.. just toss that aside for later Direct Dripping with... it doesn't even have the fluffy filler in it). (always worth mentioning for newbies and lurkers). I agree with the others, it's prbably the primer fluid on the atty. Sometimes it's awful and you have to blow it out and reprime with good eLiquid, as mentioned. So far, the eGo Mega Atty's have escaped the awful primer.. try picking up some of those and their carts. <----- Big fan of the eGo, eGo Mega Cartomizer, and eGo Mega Atty w/cart, eGo Mega Atty with Mega Drip Tip. I use them all throughout the day. The regular 510 cartomizers and LR 510 cartomizers act a bit differently... they produce more vapor and even flavor at first, but then dwindle. The Mega Carto is just the opposite. Milder at first, and then NICE!!. (my experience anyway). Sorry to hear you don't like your flavors. Like Travis mentioned, you might like them down the road, and you might not. Taste/flavor is so subjective, which is what makes this vaping thing so much fun and so much frustrating at the same time. Even the Tobacco flavors will differ from vendor to vendor. I love AwesomeVapor's Hilton for a heavy tobacco flavor to clean my sweet palette up. Another Vendor's Hilton has a sweet bite added. I like 555, it has a nuttiness flavor... heavy from some vendors, sweet from others. Have you tried MadVapes? I usually have to add a sweetened flavor (like Bananna to their tobacco or Apple to their RY4). There are some die hard tobacco flavor enthusiasts here on the board, who dislike sweetness as much as you do. Hopefully they'll be by to share their favorite vendors and names. They might be worth the extra shipping costs to you until you learn how to make your own to perfection.

another thought is that it might be the primer on your new atty giving you a bad first impression. Pick up some 510 carto's with soft tops and see if they taste better. Until then, blow out the atty, let it drain on a kleenex/paper towel, re prime with 2 or 3 drops of eliquid, prime puff it like a pipe, re drip... now inhale.

That poor soul. That's sooooo unfair! Talk about hate crimes. grrrrr. Send that woman an eCig! I would suggest an eGo, but she would probably prefer something easily manageable with arthritis... like a 1 or 2 piece carto type... hmmmm, like an eGo with cartos lol.
