  1. Im on the hunt for opinions on the "best" diy peanut butter flavoring. I am so hoping for a "peanut butter cookie" vape but... the peanut butter I purchased tasted more like mild coffee when mixed at almost any percentage. If you wouldnt mind, when commenting with your choice, please include the percentage you recommend. I appreciate your input and time, as does my wallet!! Thank you!!!
  2. THanks Uma... Im trying to be patient, but its difficult when there has been no correspondence at all... My order in fact still shows as processing.. Ugh... I hadnt thought about the possiblity of them having issues, so will breathe and be patient a while longer while I dig deeper!! Natures flavors are organic flavorings, and are also sold by ecigxpress.... I however, stepped out of the box and was HOPING to try rhubarb(which ecig doesnt carry).. by making a ejuice custard, or cobbler etc.. I do want to thank you for your response, I appreciate your time!
  3. I order my nicotine, vg, and pg from rtsvapes.com, and shop out my flavoring between several vendors.. I have many from high desert vapes, onestopdiyshop, ecig express, vaping zone, and diyflavorshack.. One you start, its hard to stop. For me.... its great therapy as well as my weekend entertainment Good Luck!!
  4. I placed an order on Natures Flavors 3 weeks ago, got an email confirmation, and have heard NOTHING since, (other than to see that the payment went through the day after I ordered) I have attempted on two occasions to email them... no response... Im getting frustrated and just wondered if anyone else has ever tried to order from them and or your experience... Thank you..
  5. While I can and will accept any ones opinion, I honestly dont care who started what, or when or even how. I DIY and quite frankly try to mimic what I taste, there are only so many flavors out there, does that make me a thief? I think not, for me its flattery at its finest. I support many juice vendors and will continue to do so. I am a single mother, who owns and operates two businesses, I bust my tail to survive and dont have the time to worry about what others are doing, either personally or business wise.
  6. Let me just add, that once you start dripping you will see a whole new way of life. I line up my liquid arsenal and drip through up to 10 flavors some nights.. I found myself getting bored with tanks, and dripping is the cats meow!! I started with LR510s with my egos, and just recieved a few cisco 306's because of the recommendations here!!
  7. Dawn over at DIYflavorshack has an AMAZING vanilla. You can purchase it two ways depending on your needs... She offers the Holy Vanilla e-liquid, which you can get with double flavor or the Holy Vanilla flavor concentrate, if you prefer to mix it yourself which many of us are doing now. Give it a try, Id almost bet you wont be disappointed, especially if you want a true, full flavored real vanilla!!
  8. I second everything Patricia said, their deals and discounts make it fun to order and I have done so, many times.. My favorites are their grape, mocha java drizzle, blue honey, cookies and cream.... come to think of it.. I havent received anything i havent loved. Most of mine were vapable upon arrival, a few required some steeping time. You do not have to search for flavor and their vapor rocks!! All of mine have been 70pg/30vg!!!!
  9. Mike, Thanks for bringing in some fresh ideas!! I have about 100 flavors, including the graham cracker and pie crust, as well as cinnamon danish swirl, coffee cake (hint of cinn)and brown sugar.. One would think it wouldnt be hard, I say this after almost pulling out my hair a few times But it is certainly tricky.. However, as I type, Im thinking perhaps, a tad pie crust with a drop of cds....(thanks for the starting point) Putting stuff in a baking pan is soooo much easier... Any and all other ideas welcomed...
  10. Thats what I figured, and that is precisely why I asked!! I have spent a few months perfecting my recipes (to my taste) and or my versions of "clones" and the crumble topping just gets me..... Ill be refeshing often, hoping to get some answers for us newbie mixers!! Thanks for your post Uma
  11. I have been diy'ing for a few months, after much trial and error, I have a few that I finally love.. I am however, struggling with a couple that I would like to have a "crumble topping " flavor... There are a few "genius mixers" here and I am hoping someone can give me an idea of where to start to obtain such a flavor, on my blackberry, rhubarb, etc.. Your help and attention to this post is MUCH appreciated...
  12. From my experience, the TH can come from pg as well. Pg is thinner, carries flavor, and enhances TH, VG, is thicker and smoother, and is the cause of the nice vapor. I hope that helps define the two for you.. SInce th is important to you, Id definately recommend getting the 100% pg nicotine, cut, and then mix to your liking!! Remember that when you are ready to commit to a shopping cart for nicotine, you make sure you have pg, and vg (NO NIC) for your mixing... Purchasing flavors is addicting, and doesnt seem real cost effective in the beginning, but once it arrives and you get the hang of it, you will save yourself tons....
  13. Good for you! I love mixing... part of it is the money I save, part is being able to be creative and try new things... I purchase my nic in 100% pg, then mix it down to a 70 pg/30vg ratio.. Its really personal preference based on what you intend to mix..
  14. I am using a pg base nic, but am mixing to a 70pg/30vg ratio. I have read EM might help me out.. I read that a little can help smooth out flavor, a bit more can add moisture, and likewise.. even more would add sweetness.. Any experience?
  15. Let me know what you think! I hope you love them as much as I do... I just ordered several more, you can never have too many backups!!
  16. I have been working on my recipes, and sampling new ratios etc.. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on an ingredient to add "moisture" to what feels like a "dry" vape ? This section of the forums seems to move at a snails pace.. Isnt anyone DIY'ing or has everyone mastered the process?
  17. Heck yah!!! I started out with these on my 808 manual batteries, ( I dont recommend an auto battery as juice can leak in and cause not only failure but battery death) http://www.valuevapor.com/VV/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=194&zenid=cc6184970edfea1848d920399b371142 and even still I purchased a drip shield for each atomizer, this will help from juice leaking if you over drip and it happens all the time... http://www.valuevapor.com/VV/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=569&zenid=cc6184970edfea1848d920399b371142 For my egos.... I use http://www.valuevapor.com/VV/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13&products_id=312 You can use any 510 atomizer with an ego... And even though I prefer the Low resistance ones, you can try others, this is just a starting point... ALSO.. I am not in any way affliated with Value Vapors, but will say that they had a great assortment of supplies, their prices were reasonable and their shipping was very fast! With a new atty, I drip about 4-5 drops in and let it set for a couple minutes, add a couple more and vape. When flavor or vapor falls off, normally 5-7 puffs, add 2-3 more drops...repeat as needed. Also a lot of attys have PG priming fluid in them...blow as much out as you can, they may have a funky taste the first few puffs from that... I hated mine the first day or two, only because it was "different" ... and now... I have found that I am sampling through juices like no other.. Its easy, have great flavor, plumes of vapor, and no more wasted carts, as I mentioned above!
  18. Part of the battle when we decide to quit smoking is not only to get over the cravings but to satisfy the old habit of hand to mouth. I think it may help you, even at 0 Nic to satisfy that desire! But, even if, in the end, you find yourself still craving nicotine, E-cigs are safer/ healthier for you and ALOT less stinky for everyone else... That in itself will probably make your wife happy! Good luck in your journey!!
  19. In the world of vaping, it seems I am always looking for ways to improve my system/ experience and wanted to share a quick idea for keeping your flavors straight. Cheap and easy multi-colored caps! http://smokelessimage.com/accessories/wrapsandcaps.html
  20. Have you tried dripping at all Lyrical? I too was going through carts left and right, sampling here and there. It was frustrating, especially when I didnt like them (before steeping).. I researched and purchased a few atomizers/ drip sheilds for my 808 batteries, and now for my eGo's and this is now how I sample or taste all of my new/ homemade juices.. No more wasting carts and no more frustration! Just a thought...
  21. To steep or not to steep... that IS the question!! Some do, some dont. However, I have found that a few days can make a difference. If I order a juice from a made to order vendor, I find that by the time it arrives, 3-5 days later) its usually melded (mixed, steeped) pretty good already. They are good vapes without any noticable flavor changes as the days pass. With that said, when I began mixing my own, I saw the importance of steeping.. Though it isnt easy to wait, a few steeping days make a HUGE difference. Flavors can seemingly taste disgusting or deemed as a failure right away while letting them sit, (shaking them often) blend and smooth the flavors for a more successful/ tasteful/ pleasurable vape. I know this doesnt answer your question, but hope that it gives you another opinion or perspective!
  22. This is awesome information! I started dripping when I began my DIY juice journey and have been wondering how to clean out the lingering flavors!! I have been using several just as you mentioned but this will be helpful in decifering between the new flavors in each!! Thank you for posting this!!
  23. Thank you for your help, You got me moving in the right direction. After doing some research I opted for Flavourarts AAA Mask, which is similar to your suggestion, only without the smokey undertones!! I also grabbed a Signature flavor called "smooth" Ill give both a shot.. Thank you again for responding..
  24. I have been mixing some DIY flavors (strawberry shortcake, blackberry crumble, caramel capps, etc) and am now looking for advise or help in an ingredient to smooth out the flavors.. I have lessened the favor percentages as an attempt to smooth them out but still everything is pretty sharp and crisp and Id like them to be a little more mellow... Maybe I just need to decrease yet again, however I thought Id post it up and get some input. Thank you...
  25. Im almost certain you wont be dissappointed! I tried four or five different cartos and then five or six different clearos before settling on the Vivi with the 1.8 heads... finally Im SOLD!!! I have them in all of the colors, and metal replacement tanks to suit my every need!!! ENJOY!!
