Boba's Bounty is the only all VG juice that I really liked but I haven't tried too many others. That stuff rocks, when will it be back? Other than that I always try to keep it in the 80/20 range but I'm open to try some other VG juices this year.

Yes they do. I just picked up a couple of these and I'm not disappointed.

That's classic! I just got a newbie flashback.

Where have I been? I haven't heard of any of the mods mentioned on this thread. I guess when you own a Provari you just stop looking, lol.

,Congrats!! About that cone thread hiding thing, I have one that is a small threaded collar, cylindrical -- not cone shaped. I don't know where I got it from but if you look around you could find it somewhere. This type will look better IMO. Neither one will restrict air flow. Here it is : http://www.empiremods.com/category_s/64.htm?searching=Y&sort=5&cat=64&show=10&page=2 Maybe with a large tank the cone one does look better. I use a small dct and a mini Vivi Nova and this one looks better.

Looking For A Similar E Liquid Flavor From Another Company
Mike replied to Finchx6's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
Very true and you will no doubt find several different juices that you will rotate through again and again. Once you find one you like just order a big bottle but never stop trying different juices in small quantities. I had some great juice that was all VG but it is more challenging and takes more experience to make it great. Maybe that's why I prefer mostly PG. It's easier to DIY and I get great results more often. -
Christopher And His Amazing, Stalking Snow Flakes

I totally missed that. I can't possibly miss the real thing that's happening here tonight. 1st real snowfall of the season is hitting us right now. We could get about 10 inches. I can't wait to take my quad down the road later tonight with my buddies. Only in Massachusetts: -
Looking For A Similar E Liquid Flavor From Another Company

There are so many juices to try I wouldn't know where to start. As far as the PG/VG thing, I would recommend that you go with a mix that is mostly PG. I say "mostly" because having some VG does help with vapor and having a little instead of a lot will not clog up cartos. 20%VG is plenty in my opinion and even 5% is enough to make a noticeable difference. 50/50 or 100% VG needs other additives such as watter or alcohol to thin it and make it carto friendly. Some juice makers have this all figured out and their VG juice is at a good viscosity but the high VG% will still foul up attys and cartos quicker. thevaporveteran.com has dekang eliquid and they are all 80/20, pg/vg. This is a good ratio. Many eliquids that are made to order can be made with any % you want. sweet-vapes.com and vapedudes.com are 2 examples of this. 100% pg is a good way to go also and you can add 3-5% of your own vg to it without diluting the flavor and nic strength very much or just leave it as is. PG juice is better VG juice in my opinion(I'll probably get a lot of disagreement saying that) but the best mix has a combination, usually a smaller % of vg. -
Welcome to VT Mark. I love a good French Pipe. It was one of my favorites in the beginning and I just recently found a flavoring to mix my own. Citrus flavors are also to my liking, especially lemon and/or lime with marshmallow or a vanilla type flavor added(and sometimes with a graham cracker crust!). Where do you get your French Pipe juice from?

I chose this method to keep my "junk" out of sight. This is how I had it before. I was a little easier to find what I was looking for but I don't get to DIY very often so it was becoming an eyesore.

Have a safe and happy holiday season!

Before you guys start making jokes about ancient beliefs you should probably wait until "Doomsday" is over....just to play it safe. If you have a wood mod you should probably knock on it now.

I'm having a newbie moment wondering about a particular battery. I have a couple of mods that take a single 14500 battery. My Mark's mod and VV Robust A that I recently picked up. It was recommended that I use AW batteries in the Robust so I got 2 which are 600mAh. The one that I've been using in my Marks mod is a UltraFire and 900mAh. This battery is over 3 years old and it was one I used with my very first e-cig(701 e-cigar). Needless to say, this battery has a lot of cycles on it and it is pretty much toast but it WAS a good battery. The 2 new AW's I have don't last as long as the UltraFire did and one of them is a dud and only lasts a few vapes. My question is which battery should I get for these 2 PV's? I'd like to have 900mAh, Does AW have these or should I go with a different kind? I've always read that AW's are the best but are they really?

Haven't tried it but it looks very similar to the Vision V3 and the eGo cc clearo(T2). I think the coils might be interchangeable with the V3 are they not? I've had the best luck with the T2 so I'm sticking with it for this type of delivery system for now.

I vaped immediately after an extraction. I was still in the dentist chair, lol. The flavor takes a hit, in fact I couldn't taste of feel anything for several hours. As long as your not creating a lot of negative presure(the sucking thing) you should be fine in my opinion. Smoking on the other hand is highly discouraged.

Welcome merlinskw. Is your wife a member too? If not have her come aboard also. There's plenty of room in here!

I find it much easier to go without vaping at work than when I used to smoke. I vape much less than I used to smoke at work but about the same or maybe a little more when I'm not so it's about even for me. At work I need to use both hands most of the time and with cigarettes, I could just have one hanging in my mouth at any time but it's hard to do that with an eGo and I don't feel the need to vape as much as I felt the need to light up.

Happy Independence Day everyone!! So Jeff, am I late or early?

Lead, arsenic and other heavy metals are not really that bad for you. If that is what the Chinese are putting in e-liquids to get that great tasting vape then that's OK with me. Being a carpenter and working on old houses, I've inhaled and ingested a whole lot of lead paint dust so I must be immune to it by now. But seriously, I think some of you are being a little bit silly about what could be in an e-liquid made in another country. I'd be more concerned about a domestic e-liquid that was made by some American whack-job who was trying to intentionally poison people. I seriously doubt that Chinese e-liquid manufactures are putting anything bad in their juice. There are probably only a couple of major manufactures who make a whole lot of juice to be shipped out world wide and they know that their product is tested by many and tested often for harmful ingredients. I'll bet this e-liquid is more consistent and less contaminated than any e-liquid made anywhere else, except for the e-liquid that I make right here at my desk. So don't worry about what the Chinese could let get into their juice by accident because of poor quality control, if this were to happen it would be be quickly discovered by chemical-geeks and it couldn't possibly be as bad for you as what American tobacco companies intentionally put into their products.(The products that you smoked for years and you didn't care that there were so many harmful and cancer causing chemicals)

I recently got a French pipe flavoring that was imported from China and it is the best. Chinese e-liquids are sold by lots of suppliers and some of the best e-liquids, especially tobacco ones, come from China.

I've recently been vaping butter rum and coconut with extra vg(about 40% vg). I haven't noticed an increase in gas or a more deadly aroma than normal. I sometimes wonder if they are as flammable as they used to be. Anyone ever take a cigarette lighter and..... oh, nevermind.

I picked this up from Sweet-Vapes. It uses a AW IMR 14500 600mAh battery, not included. Features: 3v to 6v in .1v increments resistance check voltage lock reverse battery protection regulated output short circuit/atomizer protection low battery warning/over discharge protection This is a square device with slightly chamfered corners. Made of what feels like some kind of aluminum alloy or stainless steel. It comes in several colors, I chose blue. I only got 2 days on this thing but I like this one. It feels strong. Nothing is going to wiggle loose with it. Two negative things I can say about it (if I want to be picky) is when you change the battery the voltage resets to 3.0,(unlike the ProVari which has memory) and it says in the description that it uses 510 and eGo threading but I need a eGo adapter to use my T2 clearos(just like my ProVari). The picture shows my 3 favorite devices. On the left, ProVari Mini, and on the right 650mAh twist. And in the background, New England winning a Super Bowl. If anyone saw Monday night's game, I think you can see why they are my pick this year. Another negative thing about it is the battery life. It won't last as long as my twist or my mini but I always carry at least 2 devices so I don't need it to last all day. This one definitely works for me.

Yeah this thing goes to 6 volts. It feels the same as it does on 5. When I go down to 4.4 I start getting some good flavor. 4.4 volts is as high as I go when I want a little extra, usually I have it on 4v or 3.7ish. I've been using 2.4ohm T2 clearos. I use the same settings on my ProVari with similar results so there's no doubt that this thing works at least in the range that I use it. It is not a great VV battery. There is a loose connection which is located between where the battery is and the electronics. It's a friction connection that loosens up and can come apart just like an eGo battery can do. Mine has a band of electrical tape around it so it doesn't happen again. The usb to mini usb charger or mini usb port no longer works but I can charge it with a regular eGo charger. The up-down buttons now only change the voltage down no matter which one I hit but it will go to 6.0 after 3.0 and back down. It is only 650mah and it is longer than the twist 650. It's not the greatest but it does the job now that all my twist batteries are junk.
