  1. It's been over 3 years for me also and I have no good reason or desire to quit vaping. I didn't make the switch to try to quit smoking, it just happened.
  2. Welcome Noah. I've been using my ProVari a lot lately but I am happy with a regular eGo battery and a Kanger clearomiser. The eGo Twist is nice but I keep snapping them in half while at work(I'm rough with my stuff!) and all my eGo's are broken so I just ordered a Vision spinner which is nearly the same thing and has good reviews, figured I'd try it. eGo style batteries are usually my first choice and I use ProVari and Robust VV as a backup. For Juice, I make my own and also order small bottles from everywhere. I like Tobacco flavors, especially French Pipe, Turkish, Cigar and also many bakery flavors like pineapple upside down cake, apple pie, danish, bavarian cream, etc. I could never settle down to one flavor, always have a couple of choices ready to go. Welcome to Vapor Talk, hang out, vape and chat with us!
  3. The shelf life of PG or VG is not much more than a year when kept in a dark closet. Your better off getting your base in a size that you will be able to use up in 6 months or less. To give you an idea, I order a 120ml of PG with nic and that lasts me 3 months. I have a 20 fl. oz. bottle of VG that is will last me several months also. A gallon of anything is way to much unless you are a supplier and plan on making a whole lot of e-liquid. Even a liter of base should last you over a year but I would recommend that you get a smaller amount. I don't believe that nicotine base will ever be unattainable.
  4. I like your avitar, I wouldn't want to be a real alien and fly my UFO through that mess. Welcome to Vapor Talk where we're all down to Earth.
  5. 4 parts VG to 1 part distilled water or 20% is what I found that others use. Another way to thin out a juice is with pure grain alcohol(Everclear) or even a strong vodka, you would need much less maybe 5%. This is something I have no experience in because I haven't tried to make an all VG juice as of yet so I am curious to what others are doing. I can tell you that I've used up to 40% VG in my juice with no water or alcohol and no problems in my clearos although at that point the juice is beginning to become rather thick. I prefer to keep the VG in my juices between 20 and 30 percent. I feel that that is more than enough for big clouds of vapor and that PG is a better flavor carrier. If you are wanting to make an all VG juice you are going to have to keep me posted on how that all works because I really don't know. I do know that most flavorings have PG so does that mean you have to use PG free flavorings? I didn't know there was such a thing. I do know how to make some good eliquids using a PG base, multiple flavor ingredients and some VG so I can help with other mixing questions.
  6. I understand what you're saying and I do this all the time. You just have to make a note of which ingredient(s) need more or less. If you have too much of one thing then you have to add everything else. After you "fix" it and you like it and want to make more it will be difficult to know exactly but you should have a good idea next time how to start off. In other words, after you make something and you think there should be more or less of a flavor, you can experiment with what you just made to test your theory. The next time you will know to use a different ratio and you will probably know about how much to change it.
  7. I'm guessing more cheesecake. In a small bottle try about 2ml of cheesecake and less than 1ml of raspberry. If that doesn't cut it try adding a little more raspberry.
  8. Welcome. I would recommend an eGo and a Kanger clearomiser.
  9. Hi Kitta. There are lots of threads in here that talk about the eGo C. Especially in the "Help it Broke" section. That particular tank and spike atty system has been a headache for lots of vapers. When it works like it should it is a great e-cig but sometimes it can be a pain in the butt. Common issues with it is that it sometimes doesn't keep up with heavy vaping resulting in dry hits. Sometimes it may leak. It's not the easiest e-cig to deal with but it is much better than a Blu. Now that you have an eGo there are all kinds of clearomisers and other things you can try with it also. Happy Vaping!
  10. If you're still not sure, tell me your preferred pg/vg ratio, and target nic level and I can help.
  11. We've got those signs on the highways in MA also but the deer around here are not smart enough to use these crossings.
  12. Don't be concerned about all the different artificial flavors. My opinion is that inhaling a flavor that is natural or artificial makes little or no difference. The lungs are not designed to digest food and it doesn't really matter what is natural or not just as long as it is not carcinogenic. Some of the best flavors for e-liquid contain the same flavors used in food and in medicine and many are artificial flavorings.
  13. Interesting, I never knew such flavors were hard on plastic. I thought they were just not so good for the coils. I've never had any problems with cinnamon in my clearos but I don't use it much and when I do it's only a drop or two to spice things up a bit.
  14. hello and welcome Dan. How did you come up with "gunaryclamdip"? If I were in Arizona I would avoid would avoid the clams. lol
  15. Welcome to VT. Reducing the number of cigarettes while you are getting more comfortable with vaping makes it so much easier to quit those analogs for good once you are ready. Good luck to you. I don't know about vamos but there are people here that do.
  16. This one is still my favorite although the Count has some good ones too, ah, ah, ah.
  17. Any type of mountain bike will do the job. You're better off buying a used bike from someone or maybe getting one for free that someone doesn't want anymore. Usually an old bike only needs some lubrication and some air in the tires and it's good as new. This way you can use your tax return on other things. I have a couple of old bikes and so does my kids and girlfreind. She bought my kids new bikes for Christmas and all the other ones were freebies. Now I got bicycles coming out my ***. We are all going to keep 1 bike each and give the rest away. As far as what is good for new bikes, I have no idea. I like the old ones myself, that goes for motorcycles too. All of my bikes, motor or not, were made last millennium.
  18. In over 3 years that I've been vaping I've ordered from more places that I can remember, dozens of different online stores. I have a wide variety of favorites juices; some that are made in China, some that are made in USA, some that are all PG, some that are not, and some that I DIY myself. None of which stand out far above the other.
  19. Yes. This is called Juice Abuse. I am guilty of this quite frequently when I change flavors.
  20. Well, the midnight ride didn't happen. One guy went out at about 8pm and had a real hard time keeping his goggles clean and he says there is no way we were going to pull it off. I'll go riding later in the day if I have any energy left in me after I shovel out. 2 feet on the ground and it's still snowing here until about noon.
  21. The driving ban in MA is somewhat understandable but I just learned that one could face 1 year in jail and $500 fine. That is total BS and they can't possibly make something like that stick. Sometimes I wonder about this state I live in, lot's of stupidness around here especially from those in office.
  22. So true. You hit this one on the head. The best are the ones you like the best. Dekang is very consistent and so are many American made juices. I can tell when a liquid was made by someone who is not very good at it but most of the time they are all good, it's just the flavor that isn't something pleasing to me. My favorite juice at this point is a French Pipe that I DIYed myself so I guess that I make the best juice.
  23. The local news says that the Weather Channel came up with that one but they are calling it The Blizzard of '13. It is not an official name but some people think they have the privilege of naming it.
  24. 50's in the morning and 60's for a high is T-shirt weather for me. No lie. I work outside most of the time and I was working in a T-shirt several times this winter.
