I have been refilling my cartos with a syring that was made for printer ink. I just give a little less than 1 cc through the endcap hole. Another thing I do is drill out the endcap with a 1/4 inch bit and drip straigt through it.(don't let the bit go through too deep like I did on the first try) I just ordered a different cartos's from Jason(electronicstix.com), they have removable endcaps. I also am getting LR attys and T-Tips and, finally, Halo e-juice. I'll let you know how I made with all this stuff but I do like the cartos I got from Vapor Kings.

This Is Why We Do Not Use *other Forums*
Mike replied to actor92191's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I looked through a couple of threads at efc late last year because my searhes brought me there. I felt uncomfortabe just reading some of the posts. Not for any real reason that I can remember. When I found Vaportalk it was just the opposite. Don't quite know why but it seems like VT is more my crowd. I've always felt comfortable here and uncomfortable even reading from other forums. Don't know why and don't care but I like the fact that Chris and staff run a tight ship. -
Thanks for that info, Dave. I havn't had much time to play mixologist lately so I've been taking all of my store bought juices that I don't care much for and making them into something I do...or else chuck 'em. I did save a lot of juice by adding a little of this and that to better suit my taste. I broke down and bought a bunch of store bought juice and found some I really like. When I have the time I will try to create some of those flavors from scratch. Two flavors that compliment tobacco that I like are peanut and pecan and sometimes butterscotch. This is why I like 555 cuz of the peanuty taste. Work has really picked up around here and that's a good thing but can't wait to mix up some homemade again.

I hear ya ddave, on a few points. Fruit is nice once in a while but I'm chasing an itch too. I've bought assorted tobacco flavors from all over. The good thing is none will go to waste as they are all decent and can be mixed together in infinate combinations. I like the 555 I have now and I've had 555 from at least 2 other suppliers and I think there are differences. It's hard to tell because my taste buds are probably getting better and the second time around always seems to taste diffent even from the same store. Now that I have so many different ones I can notice subtle differences. I was wondering what store carries the 555 that you think tastes like 555? Or are they mostly all the same? I definately can tell the simularities of the 3 or 4 555's I went through but can't say for sure if they were alike cuz I never had all at the same time. My itch is somewhere around this flavor also.... and in other places. Now that I'm out of Midnight I feel like vaping strawberry champagne.

Mobey stole my vapor song!!!...Back to the drawing board

I was lucky enough to find Vapor Talk first. I lurked around here and a couple other forums for only a few days and knew right away where I would stay.

Grim Green's interview is why I tried it and I agree with him completely. I just recieved an email from Halo stating, among other things, that they have recieved thier flavor ingredients and as a way to say "sorry" they will be doing a 20% off sale on Tuesday until midnight. They will be working all weekend stocking up and making juice. They also said some or the names of thier juice may change but you can figure out what is what. Hopefully they have not lost the recipies. It really is tasty stuff.

Great selection, good prices, fantastic customer service. What more can I say? I say I haven't been more excited about juice in a long time. I really dig the Virgina Flue Cure, 555 and the samples he sent me- Turkish Blend and Brandy. And those carto's work surprizingly well. I'm glad I saw this thread last weekend. I'm lovin' these "new" flavors.
-
I don't have a good 555 recipie but I know who does........Vapor Kings I have 3 of thier tobacco flavors and they are all excelent. Sraight Virginia Flue Cure has the most realistic smoke taste I've tried yet, this would be a good flavor to add a drop of this and a drop of that to. The 555 tastes great to me but I don't know exactly what 555 should taste like.

I think your right. I just got some 510 cartomizers which I think have a lower resistance atty. I notice quite a difference and now I just have to have the attys your talking about with one of those t tip things. I will then be all set in the vaping department. I do enjoy my high voltage homemade creations but I do prefer a standard battery, especially when I can get so much vapor and throught hit.
-
Love it! Not what I expected at all. I thought it might be a sweet tobacco flavor like another Flu Cure I had((Liquid Express)which I did like also). This flavor is a very good woody tobbacco flavor that tastes like real smoke. I also recieved a free sample of Turkish Blend that I really like also. I haven't even had the time to check out the 555 I ordered because I can't put down these other 2 flavors.

I'm starting to wonder about this supplier. They opened thier store in January, I think, and started running out of stock within a month. More and more time has gone bye and they haven't made any more juice. They are completely out of freedom and harley. What gives!?! They claim that they are waiting on flavor ingredients and they are at the mercy of thier suppliers. Who are they getting thier ingredients from anyways? They say they are all American but thier supplies seem to be coming from a galaxy far far away. Is there only one source for thier secret ingredients or is it something else. When they do get the "stuff" they need I hope they don't forget how they made thier juice in the first place because it is good. Hey, Halo: There must be other sources for the ingredients you guys need. Hurry up and make some juice!!!

I just wipped together another "redneck" mod. This one, like my last one, works off of 4 regular nickle metal hydride batteries. The older one had AA bats. This one has AAA bats. By putting 4 of these 1.2 bateries in line via a battery box, these units produce somewhere around 5v. I did testing on the AA mod but forgot the exact numbers. The AAA mod should put out about the same; it shure feels like it does, but might not last as long before recharging. (I can go 2 1/2 DAYS on a single charge with my AA mod) It's been almost 24 hours with my AAA mod with moderate use and it still kicks but. I didn't use a voltage regulator or led light, just a push button switch wired to the box and the atty connector. I litteraly assembled these things in minutes, this is why I consider them "redneck". I would definately want to make them look more attractive and I have a lot of wasted space which could be used to make them smaller but these work great with a standard 510 atty. I'm surprized that I haven't seen anyone else use these kind of batteries. They are easy to find in a store and last a long long time after a charge. I was just going for a working unit and these don't look too pretty but it was way to easy to make and have a 5 volt vaping experience. Pictures of both devices I mentioned can be seen in the Gallery under Mikes pictures. Someday I will build a much nicer looking one but I'm happy with how good these work.

I just recieved some 510 cartomizers from Vapor Kings. I like these alot but am also going to try out the t-tips. I mainly drip so the t-tips might be for me but I really like these carto's. The draw is easy and the vapor and throught hit are right there. I did have a hard time popping of the endcap and fueling up. Is there a better way to do this? I can't just fill through the hole can I? Mabey with a syringe I can. Just wondering how other people do it. Definately like these and his tobacco flavors are really good also.

Those are great stories. I can see myself leaving the nicotine behind someday also. I started out using 24, 36, and 50mg(homemade-don't try this!) and also no nic once in a while. I'm down to 18mg now and vaping a little bit less. I plan on continuing to vape after I reach 0 nic but even less often just for a speacial treat. I won't set a date or anything but I think that by the end of the year I will be nicotine free. To put that in perspective, I have been anolog free since the end of last year.

I've tried electronicstix's usa rath juice and it did taste like root beer. It wasn't a flavor that I'll buy again because I just didn't care much for it. There is something about a dark colored liquid that turns me off also. I haven't tried one that I thought was exceptional. Most of the time it tastes too much like flavoring and thinned out VG.
-
Like I mentioned in another post. I use Loranne's and CK products flavorings. I have to say that I like CK products better. I buy them from a local Party store but they can probably be ordered online. Some of these flavors may have a pg base, others have a vg/alcohol base. They are all good and strong. As for VG and PG, I'm going to start using mostly or all VG to see how that works. I heard Wordup has great tasting all-VG juice that gives a nice TH. I'd like to see what I can come up with. I have made 1 all VG juice that tastes great and has a slight TH but it was nicotine free and bubble gum flavor. There are so many combinations and amounts of everything in a good juice. I hope someone(hopefully me)will come up with something awesome and share it with everyone here.

I had an anolog yesterday. and a few puffs of a real cigar. I still consider my self smoke free though. In the past 100 days I had a total of 3 cancer sticks and 1 cigar. I didn't pay for them and after I was finished I had no desire to have any more. They really taste like dung to me now. The cigar was tasty but I don't inhale them. I'm happy with the new flavors I got recently and I also placed an order with Vapor Kings. I have one more question for Brandon or anyone else who has tried the new 510 cartomizers: Why is it that they are only good for a couple days and are concidered disposeable. Is it because the juice fouls up the atty or the atty just dies early, or is there another reason. I hope thier 555 and virginia cured juices are good cause I ordered them too.(I made a special mix of my own with Wordup's juice. I mixed Hilton 50/50 with American Spirit and added a little butterscotch flavoring some VG cuz I have pg juice, and more nic to bring it back up around 20mg. This is really tasty.) Besides the cartomizers, how are V.K.'s juice? Are they any different, better or worse than Awsome Vapor or Wordup? I will find out Wendnesday probably but would like other peoples opinions.
-
Thanks Brandon, I appriciate you spelling that all out for me. That will help me out on my own recipies and it's good to know that Wordup already has some good VG recipies. I've had a little more time to vape the tobacco flavors I got from them and I like them all. They also make a good base for me to tweek with. All VG juice is on my wish list now, among other things.
-
Dave, by looking at your banner I see that you've been without anologs for a month longer than me but I've saved more money. Either you used to smoke alot less than me or I was paying too much!! I think it was the second part since I live in Taxachusetts. After looking at anologs avoided, I guess I did smoke more but I still think this state taxes too much.$8 a pack for those who still smoke. Going to check out Vapor Kings now.

Nice review, B. I haven't seen their website but I will check it out now. I'm interested in those carto's. You seem to think they are great, I don't know exactly how they work but would like to try them. I've tried cart mods but have been only dripping as of late. Thanks for the tips.

The cigar is in my hand....e-cigar that is Hey, shouldn't Chris be passing these things out? ahh forget it. He's going to be too bussy now. Congratulations!!!!!

You can never have too many. Can you think of any other ways to make them? I can invision a few different shapes and use of wood. I wish I had time to craft something like that or something that's in my head. I like the one with the small blocks glued and turned. I was thinking of something simpler like rectangular with inlays and as small as I could make it. How about jack knifeing the buisnes end or having it pop up like a dugout. Mabey someday I will go for it....unless you want to make one for me. <hint>

My brother and I went through a bottle of Freedom Juice and a bottle of Harley 56. I got Harley 56 first and from the first vape I thought it was the best I ever had. Like any juice you'll get sick of it after a while but now that it's gone I want some more. Really good stuff!! Then I got Freedom. I thought it was real good and a couple of similarities to Harly 56 but I wasn't as crazy about it. Both have great TH, Vapor and unique taste but I liked Harley more. I did like Freedom alot and for those of you who also like it, you'll probablly like Harley. My bro just got more. That's 3 separate orders and all arrived in a couple days without any problems. I'm not good at describing flavors such as Freedom but I can describe Harley 56: a tasty tobacco flav with the SLIGHTEST hint of menthol and possibly spearmint but the great tobacco flavor wins out.

Just got an order from wordup. American Spirit, Jeff's mix, Winston and Hilton. All are good but to soon to really know. I got all of my juice as PG. After hearing about the VG versions I am interested. I get good TH and vapor with PG but what difference would VG make? I usually add a few drops to my small bottle for a little more vapor. I always thought PG was better for flavor and TH. Has anyone tried both and can you describe the pros and cons? The only VG juice I've had was homemade 0 nic but I have ordered 50/50 from other suppliers. I don't find much difference other than more vapor with VG, but I prefer flavor and throught hit. Are you alergic to PG Brandon, or is there another reason. Wordup does have great choices and prices and service.
