  1. late 60's, early 70's Chevy Nova ...and rough around the edges; faded paint, scuffs and dings etc.
  2. Congrats to Snubber, DAYVAPE, myself and anyone else who is at the 2 year mark. On New Year's eve, eve, 2 years ago, I decided I wouldn't smoke butts anymore and that day I also became a VT member. I've always liked this place cause the people here seem so real. It did take me a couple of months after getting my first e-cig to quit smoking but probably because it took that long for me to find this great forum.
  3. I have a Mark's mod and a homade one of my own. I have to admit, Mark's is my favorite and the best part is they were both free for me! Thanks again Mark!
  4. I don't know what to think about that because doesn't that e-cig blow chunks? It would be nice to walk into a store and purchase genuine Joye products or high end mods don't you think?
  5. Some new vapers experience a dry throught in the begining which may seem like your juice is harsher than what it is. The VG/PG thing is also a big factor. You should try both PG and VG and see for yourself. I find that a 50/50 mix is what I like.
  6. Strange whether continues here. Normally the temp drops well below freezing at night but tonight it is rising. What would have been a couple of inches of snow is a warm light rain. It would be nice for a white Christmas but other than that, I'm not complaining. I would take 55 degrees all year long.
  7. I'm a little different like that. I was a heavy smoker, sometimes 2+ packs a day. I was able to quit vaping 24mg juice and then dropped it to 12 or 18mg for a while. That didn't seem to cut it for me so I went back up. I know my nic levels can get pretty high if I vape to frequently so I try not to but I like the fact that I get my fix in a few quick toots. Now that I'm hearing that lower nic juice is tastier, smoother, better, more flavorfull, I think I want to go back down.
  8. Ain't it exciting getting something by mail that isn't a bill. Can't wait for tomorrow. My goodies should be arriving. Good luck with your new eGo, Dragaa.
  9. I must have smoked about 2 packs a day. $70 for a carton and buying pack after pack when that ran out. Don't get me wrong, I know I'm saving lots of money but that's not why I vape. It tastes so much better, no ashtrays, no more stinky clothes or car. No more going to the convience store for butts, not to mention how much better I smell, taste, breathe and overall feel better about myself. In the begining I would make sure I never spent more than I would on a carton of butts when I made an order so at least I could say I would have spent that money anyways. Now I can really see how much I'm saving because I only order once a month and it's usually alot less than my weekly cig habbit used to be. The savings is just a bonus for me.
  10. Getting back to the cost of startup and eventually saving money, it's true that a big order of batteries, attys and juice will set you back a hefty sum but if vaping works for you will save thousands in the long run. I did. I used to blow $100/week easy on anologs. This MONTH I spent $60 cuz I needed a new battery and atty. Last month I only spent $18 for some juice. I may not even have to make an order for next month. So that's less than $80 in 3 months. Anologs would've cost me $1,200. Hope it works this good for you. For me, nearly two years and many thousands saved.
  11. Jiffy Peanut Butter from Wordup in my ego and Pumpkin Pie in my Mark's mod.
  12. some kind of an e-cigar. -brown with simulated wood grain!
  13. Congratulations Brian. I'm closing in on 2 years also!
  14. We got our "snowstorm" last month before Halloween. It's been t-shirt weather ever since-- 65 degrees. 2nd warmest November ever in Southern New England.
  15. Why didn't that work? Damn, that was a good vid! I'm still not that good with computers. I guess the Train ain"t Rollin' tonight.
  16. The good ole days. Bad Boys from Boston, 1974
  17. I have an ego mega battery that refuses to die. I usually kill my batteries by snapping them in half accidentally in my pocket while I work construction. I have a small case for it but don't use it much. I like to take a quick vape at any chance I get and just slide it in my front pocket when I'm done. This last time when I snapped one I pulled it out of my pocket and it was hanging by 2 wires but it still worked. I was able to press it back together and it's like new again. I seem to break a battery once every couple of months but now I have a lucky one that refuses to die. This battery is a 900ma that lasts me all day and is 3 months old.
  18. That might not be Al's best parody but he is one funny s.o.b. As for Lady Gaga, I feel the same way about how ridiculas she looks most of the time.
  19. They grow fast. I remember when my girls were that size, seems like yesterday. Now they are 9 and I just got them a drum kit.
  20. I've been checking in from time to time but it has been empty. I'll keep trying.
  21. Welcome LauraLee. This is a good place to be. We're all like familly here.
  22. I'd much rather watch 1 girl with 5 basketballs than 5 guys with 1 ball. nice vid. (no offense to all you basketball fans)
  23. I carry mine in my front pocket at work and so far I've managed to break 2 batteries because of heavy lifting and climbing ladders and jumping through windows, etc. It is possible to break a battery or threaded conection but you would have to be really rough with it. As far as leaking, my ego T will leak through the vents or into the mouthpiece if I draw to hard but not when it's in my pocket.
