In my case it's not that I needed to satisfy a new craving but more like being overly excited about a new flavor I've come across and want to stick with it for a while. My theory is the longer I go without my last favorite flavor, the more I will like it if or when I get it again. And what ever my main vape is at any given time I will change it up in the evenings usually. Sometimes an evening vape turns into a 6 month all day vape. I have no idea why this is but it keeps things interesting. I don't think anyone who has been vaping for a long time has only 1 favorite and vapes nothing else. This is another big diffence from smoking.

"Quote" So, I'm curious. I hear that after Vaping for a while, some people get away from the tobaccos. I sort of see it now (sort of). Why did you go away from 555 and Torque? This is just my "kick" right now. I never found a non-tobacco flavor that I could use all day till I tried "peanut butter". I've been through all the fruit flavors and drink flavors and I have some favorites but nothing I want to use all day. I'm curently DIYing some bakery flavors and I like alot of them and might have found a couple that I would be happy with all day. I'm not done with tobacco flavors but right now I'm excited to find out that there is still more out there that might be a winner in my book. I will go back to my old favorites when they are not so fresh in my mind. You gotta understand that I vaped 555 and similar stuff for a whole year and Torque 56 for another whole year, basically. My peanut butter "kick" has lasted a couple of months and I don't know where it's gonna take me now. I'm gonna go back into tobacco flavors eventually to try to find a flavor that I really liked. When I bought my firt PV (701 e-cigar) it came with pre filled carts and the flavor was supposed to taste like a cigar or some kind of tobacco. It tasted like neither but it was really damn good imho. Also some fruit goes good with tobacco flavors. Ever try Halo's "Midnight Apple". or ever put a little "Sweet Dawn" in your "Traditional Tobacco"? It's fun to find new favorites and everybody has different tastes and different methods to thier own madness.

I can understand some concerns because long term tests (10-20yrs) can't posiblly be done or even started yet. But I agree that our own personal findings and beliefs should out-weigh what others have no experience in(MYOB). I am another person who quit quitting until stumbling into vaping. I'm another 27 year smoker who could be dead right now from suicide because of Chantix, which BTW doesn't work. Another 2 year example of how vapor has had no ill effects and too many positives to list. To the FDA and/or whoever else that have concerns: Thanks for looking over my shoulder and keeping an eye out for potentionally hazardous things but until you walk 27 miles uphill in my shoes and 2 miles back down you're opinions mean very little to me.

555(from anyone), Torque 56(Halo), Peanut Butter(Wordup-ecig), Have been my all day vapes mostly. I haven't used 555 or Torque for a long time and I'm on the last bottle of Peanut Butter also. After several months of the same main vape I need to move on. My advice is to keep trying different things and when you find one you really like you'll know it and then you might want to buy a bigger bottle.

Hi yeahivape. I'm not familar with the kits you have but when you said "pre filled carts" that reminds me when I was a newbie. I tried everything to make those carts perform better. I used a certain kind of teabag in place of the filler, this that and the other thing and finally tossed it out and dripped straight in without it. A drip tip comes in handy for that. Hang on to what you already have cuz you'll get more use out them....that is if you ever put down the eGo you're gonna get!! I don't think you will regret it. If you like the flavor from something you got from Halo that's understandable. Thier e-liquid is top notch. If it was just some generic juice that comes with the kit, believe me there's better out thier you just gotta find what you like. Torqe 56 was my fav from Halo. Totally Wicked HAD a good french pipe but the recipe changed and I personally don't like it anymore. Vapor Talk's "Sweet Dawn" is one of the rare fruity flavs I like. And your tastes will change over time also. Your brand new atty will break in after a couple of tanks when the primer is completely gone. And no more burnt filler. Keep simalar flavors with the same atty--tobacco atty---menthol atty--fruit atty. It's ok to change flavors on the same atty if they don't clash badly and the remnance of the old flavor will disapear before long. I've been popping the cap off the tank and filling it that way. It takes a little force and a strong fingernail to do this espesially on a new tank or a syringe can be used to fill through the hole after it is punctured. I can't think of any more tips. I just recently upgraded to the eGo c setup and I got the LR heating coils. It's a real nice device. I was wondering if the standard resistant heating coils might be better for flavor? Has anyone tried both and if so what are the pro's and con's?

Thanks kitsune and mega for you're helpfull info. This is fun and enjoyable, especialy when you create something you like. So far, so good with my latest tries. I liked a flavor that I thought was a long shot and the ones that aren't so good still have potential. My goal is to have at least a half dozen flavors that are made to perfection to my own liking. I'll share my recipes when I think they can't get any better...but it's gonna take quite a while. Vape on!

My kids refer to it as Daddy's smokey thing. I usualy just say e-cig.

Sure is nice to do some DIY again. I got a few flavors from Blue Mist and I already have a bunch of other miscilaneous flavors. I mixed up some "Cake Batter" and some "Danish Pastry". They came out really good right away. I wonder how it might change after they steep for a couple days. Can't wait to try some other flavors and to tweek things. My target nic. level is 12%-15%. I have been vaping a 50/50 VG/PG but I put 25% VG for starters. I think less VG will give better flavor. I've got a lot of experimenting to do. I chose bakery flavors because I want to distant myself from Tobacco flavors and straight up fruit flavors are not to my liking. All I need now is a good Coffee/espressso DIY Flavor to go with my pastries. I did get "Frothy Toffee Coffee" from Blue Mist but I doubt it's what I'm looking for in a coffee but who knows, time will tell.

I used to make my liquids at about 25mg so I bought 100mg base and had 25% in the final mix. Now that I'm vaping much lower I use 60mg base and still use about 25%. This gives me about 15mg in the end. It makes it easier for me to know that if I use no more than a quarter of the total volume of base nic, I won't go over what I want. I also know to put less than a quarter (5%-25% depending on flavor) of flavoring. Then split the rest with vg and pg to my liking. I could have made 15mg juice with 100mg base but it's easier for me this way.

I used the eGo with a cylnder shaped atty and larger tank for months. I think it held more than 2 cc of juice. I have the eGo C setup now and it has a smaller tank so I have to refill more often. I used to go 9 hr. work day without refilling but now have to fill at lunch and before the drive home usually. The 1000mah bat always lasts me all day. Even though I fill more often I like the eGo C better. It is more comfortable on the lips than the wider whistle tip and seems to perform a little bit better. And the heating coils are more convienent and cheaper than buying a new cone/cylinder atty all the time. I never thought I would do anything other than drip untill the tank came out. Now I don't want to ever drip again. Also, I've tried cartos and that ain't for me either. The only improvemet I want on eGo C is a larger capacity tank so I only fill it once in the morning when a pop on a fresh battery.

This thread has inspired me to make juice again. I have a bunch of flavors and just ordered some more supplies. I want to come up with some good bakery and coffee flavors. It will be a while but I'll let you know how I made out. Just wondering, has anyone tried any of the sweeteners that are out there? Was wondering what kind of difference a couple of drops would do to a mix.

I'll be ordering juice. Have no idea what to get. Tobacco flavors are getting old, I don't like most fruit flavors, haven't found a good coffee......HELP!!!

Madonna wasn't too bad but the comercials weren't all that good this year. As for the Patriots, I thought thier defense was going to be the problem. Who would've thought that Brady and the offense wasn't going to get at least 4 TD's? They usually get that in one quarter.

Don't forget that time is money. Think of the wasted time involved with stopping at the store, waiting in line and being late to work so you wouldn't go without. Or the time you waste when you go outside to smoke when you can sneak a toot anywhere you wish. And the extra time you will have at the end of you life instead of coughing to death at an early age.

Here's my comparison and opinions: Mrs T's Penut Butter, 14mg(low) vg/pg ?? (at least 50% vg) Wordup-Ecig Jiffy Peanut Butter, 11mg(low) vg/pg 50 30 ml clear plastic bottles These recipies are obviosly different. Both are light in color but Wordup's has a slight orange tint while Mrs. T's has a color closer to that of honey. They are both pretty thick and Mrs T's is a fraction of a hair's bit thicker. Mrs T's plastic bottles have a larger white cap but after you take it off you may notice that you need alot of strength to squeze out the juice. I cut the tip off and it comes out better. Next the smell test. Wordup's smells like Jiffy peanut butter. I might say it smells like Skippy or Peter Pan but she says it's Jiffy and I have to agree. Mrs T's aroma is more complex. Kinda like cookie dough and I can smell caramel. There is a slight peanut smell but it doesn't jump out at you. How do they taste? They are both damn good and the flavors are slightly different. Wordup's tastes alot like it smells. It is peanut butter!! Mrs T's is also tastes like peanut butter even though it doesn't smell like it. Mrs. T's is a little sweeter and more like a candy type peanut butter. Both produce clouds of vapor and equal in TH which is stronger than I expected with low nic. I like both recipies and would recomend either one to anyone. Mrs. T needs to speed up the process. I don't think it's too hard for her to shave off a couple days prepairing an order and sending it out. I was ok with her taking a week to make my order but when I got an e-mail saying that my order was "awaiting shipment" and it took another 3 days for her to send it out I was getting pissed. I placed my order from Wordup 6 days later but recieved it 3 days earlier than Mrs. T's. But don't let that stop you from ordering because she always comes through and has a quality product, as does Wordup.

I love the peanut butter I've been getting from Wordup so I figured I'll try Mrs T's Peanut Butter for a comparison. Laurin has her beat when it comes to how quick she makes and sends out the stuff but I'll be patient cuz I have a feeling it's gonna be delicious.

What happenend VR? Did you like it? Did it even come yet? I ordered from Mrs. T twice a long time ago and the juice was pretty good. The flavors were really good and not "imitation" like. But she takes a long time to fill an order. I just made another order on a Tuesday last week and it isn't sent out yet. I'll let you know when I get it and how good it is.

I skipped to past the 3 minute mark to see what Jeff missed. I like how he describes the flavor like tobacco from an easy bake oven but I couldn't sit through too much more.

No ecig supliers that I know of around here, not since Wordup moved to Florida. I think they used to operate out of Hyannis. There are several places around here to get flavorings and VG & PG and other places that sell crappy ecig starter kits but that's all I know of.

Hey mega, I see that you're from the Cape. That's only about a half hour or so from me. If you ever get bored again I have a work truck that could use a little more power!! Let me know if you can put a Vette engine in it and I'll supply you with all the eliquid you can vape until the job is done.
