I didn't know Capella had a peanut butter flavor, I'll have to try that. I found that Signature has the most realistic flavor. I think it is made by Perfumers Aprentice, not 100%. sure. I just ran out and I'm getting by with a Blue Mist peanut butter cup flavor with a touch of Lorranne peanut butter. Word Up ecig has a real good peanut butter juice and so does Mrs. T's. They are very different from each other but both very good. I wonder what they use....

Vaping to quit or Vaping to substitute
Mike replied to bcartervol98's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
Vaping by substitute for me. In my case it all happened by accident to by plan. -
Hello and welcome to VT.

I like to re-fill my Nova (and other clearos) when they get down more than half but I sometimes vape them down to almost nothing. I sometimes think I will get the most flavor or just piece of mind that I won't get a dry hit if it is low. I tip my ecig sideways when it gets low to be sure that I get a good toot just to be safe. As for when the liquid takes on a dark color I'll just dump it out and re-fill. I rarely rinse it or clean it even when I change flavors except when I put on a new coil.

Hey there new guy. It is quite unanimous around here that vaping is much less harmful to a person's health and by not lighting up we all seem to benefit in many ways like getting rid of that smokers' cough, being able to taste food in a better way, not smelling like an ashtray, etc., the list the list goes on. What I like the best is not having to spend $100/week on cigs. E-cigs and accessories can be expensive too but I've saved thousands by not buying butts. That's what kept me going when I decided to quit(after vaping for a few months). I just told myself that I wouldn't spend more on e-cigs in a week or a month than I would on cigs... and I never did. Now I feel better than ever AND I gots mo money. Everybody is different and that's my story, Welcome to Vapor Talk.

Alien Visions vs. Alien Vapor Boba's Bounty?..
Mike replied to Crystalann's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
We have this discussion before and I have come to the conclusion that they both are ripping me off. I am the original vaping alien. -
I'm gonna make one of those Watermelon Frost recipes tonight --THANKS BREAKTRU!! --- and also a Peanut Butter Fluff and Chocolate. My girlfriend liked the Peanut Butter Chocolate I made last week and I'm gonna change it up a little with some marshmallow for her sweet tooth. Peanut Butter and Chocolate: Signature Peanut Butter 10% BlueMist Peanut Butter Cup 5% Lorrann Chocolate 3% EM 2%

French Pipe 3% - 7% French Pipe flavor imported from China(RTS Vapes) ---Let me know if anyone else has this DIY flavoring, I haven't seen it anywhere else. 93% - 97% Unflavored base of your choice It all depends on how strong a flavor you like and I like it kind of strong so I go about 6% I've been going back to this flavor time and time again for over 3 years and it remains to be my fav tobacco flavor, it needs nothing else to compliment it.

I've added different crust type flavors to some of my bakery recipes by simply adding a little bit of graham cracker flavoring and also I have a flavor called pie crust which also does the job pretty well. You may have to use your imagination and a lot of trial and error(small batches) to create what you are going after. Sometimes a flavor or combo of will take on a taste that you don't expect and sometimes you get lucky and come up with something great(tell us when this happens!) I don't have the perfect answer to your question but I know the flavor you are describing. Not sure which flavors will take you there but if you keep trying different things you'll probably hit on it sooner or later. It might take a nut flavor, molasses, bread, danish or who knows what. I'm thinking that the flavor(s) needed to get that crunch taste on top of your other recipes will be considerably less % so that it doesn't drown out the main dish.

A store just opened 5 minutes away from my house. It's called e-cig barn or something like that. I was surprised to see all kinds of mods, real eGo's, ProVari, Vision and Kanger stuff, and American made eliquid. The prices on their batteries and mods are way too high but their eliquid and a few other things are reasonable. They are located in Raynham, MA right across the street from the flea market which also has an e-cig vendor in it but the stuff in the flea market is total and complete junk.

I have to agree on a lot of those points and after almost 4 years there's a lot that I am in the dark about but I know what I like. And as for the Bozo comment, I resemble that remark!!! lol

Beautiful and sunny perfect 70 degree day. No off roading but I took I nice bike ride to Plymouth today and then threw some burgers, dogs, chicken and fish on the grill. I had my 1 Sam Adams beer and cranked my guitar on my back deck. All in all I can't complain about the weather here, well at least not today's weather. I'm dreading later this work week when it's supposed to hit 90.

Every part of an ecig needs to be replaced at one time or another. Batteries can last a year or two or you might break one or get one that doesn't hold a charge after a relatively short time. Small batteries are probably not going to last a year but they usually will be good for a couple hundred recharge cycles. Cartos and attys can last several weeks or even a couple of months but a fresh one after a week or 2 is the way to go. Sometimes you'll get a bad one that is dead on arrival or stops working after a few days but most of the time you can count on them being good for a couple of weeks. After that the flavor coming out of them is not too good and also it takes a day for it to break in nicely also. Always have extras and backups. The same thing goes for clearomisers. As far as recommending and ecig, I always say you can't go wrong with an eGo twist battery or a Vision spinner(which is almost the same thing) and a refillable clearomiser like the eGo cc changeable coil or a ViVi Nova. If your looking for a small cig type e-cig with a carto, I have no idea what is any good.

New England is not the place to be if you're looking for good whether this weekend. Rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday, snow even fell up north, raw and damp. No motorcycles or dirtbikes for me. Looks like I'll have to settle for Rock 'n Roll, Sam Adams and Vapor Talk. Only in New England we will have snow in the same area that already reached over 80 days before. The sun will come out here for the actual holiday and I just might be able to do some off road riding before it gets too hot by the end of the week. Life is good but remember those who are no longer with us. To everybody here at VT, have a safe and happy holiday weekend!!!

I don't find much if any difference in the life of a coil because of resistance. I usually toss out a coil after 3 weeks for a fresh one but sometimes I let them go a lot longer. The lower resistant ones can take on a burnt taste if you put too much power to it and they are never right again, so I try to avoid cranking my twist fully when I have less than a 2.2ohm on it. When I use a coil that registers 2.2 to 2.4 ohms my preference is at or just above 4v. and 4.8v doesn't seem to burn it if I was to put it up that high. Either LR or SR seem to last the same for me and I use both with my T2, I just have to remember to keep my twist a little less than half way or a little more than half way and fine adjust to what I want at any time.

Quick inhale and exhale. It's a much better habit to get into. The nicotine gets into you quickly so there's no need to inhale deeply or to hold it in. Excess vapor being held in for a long time is not necessary and can cause wheezing. Also, more vapor gets blown out and it looks and feels more like a real smoke. ---Just my opinion. BUT, a long, slow "drag" to fill up your mouth first is the key!

I think you will like the Turkish blend. I do. I'm also into pipe and cigar flavors when it comes to tobacco flavors. Halo Torque 56, Dekang Turkish, Dekang Cigar, and French pipe is what does it for me......

Three cheers for Tameiki. WHOOT WHOOT WHOOT!!!!!

Cool picture of me at my part time job
Mike replied to Army12b's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
That's pretty intense. My part time "job" is more laid back but it can get pretty loud and aggressive. That's me on the far right with my weapon of choice, my alien axe. -
Pineapple and Coconut taste good together. I call this one Gilligan's Vape or Pina Colada or just Pineapple Coconut. Measurements are approximate because that's how I roll. I just made a second 15ml bottle cuz I enjoyed the first one a lot. I did something like this: about 1ml pineapple about 1ml coconut 1/2 ml cotton candy 1/2 ml marshmallow about 3ml vg pg with and without nic to hit my strength of 18mg this is a 15ml bottle so 3mg is 20%. The combined flavoring is 20% and so is the vg level and all this can be tweeked to suit your taste. The cotton candy and marshmallow add sweetness. BTW, I'm using Lorann, CK Products and Flavor West. With these flavors I don't think it makes much difference but CK Products makes a real good Coconut and Pineapple. Anyone else ever use CK? It is sold in a local store near here and I never heard of any vapers using this brand. They make quite a few flavors that are great for DIY.

If you are cutting unflavored 48mg pg with equal amounts of vg there are a couple of things to keep in mind. You will have a 50/50 pg/vg @24mg. This would be a good base to use if you vape at 18mg or less. I say this because you could then take the the 50/50 and add flavor(s) which are mostly pg and possibly a bit more pg without nic to hit your desired nic level. This will give you less than 40% vg in the final mix which is just thin enough for just about any type of clearo or carto. Otherwise you may have to use water or alcohol to thin your eliquid. The other thing that comes to mind is shelf life. 500ml is a lot of eliquid and 1000ml is a ridiculously large amount. I like to use up anything I have within 6 months or so and if I had a liter that would last way too long. I put my vg in last and don't pre-mix it with my pg with nic but that doesn't mean it's not ok to do that. In either case the clear liquid will turn a light shade of pink after a month or 2 but this doesn't effect anything. PG and VG both have a shelf life of at least a year when kept in a cool dark place and much longer if refrigerated or in the freezer, which I don't think is a good idea because this could lead to an accident and it's just not necessary to keep such large amounts. Your better off keeping no more than a 6 month supply of DIY stuff IMHO and buy it fresh when you start to get low. If you are cutting flavored 48mg eliquid, mcquinn is right, you with end up with half the flavor level in the end.

I use the twist at about 3.8 for things that are somewhat low resistance like 1.8ohms or 2ohms. Less voltage for 1.5ohms. 4.8volts(or close to it) for anything 2.2ohms and higher. There is a personal preference here but you sure don't want to burn the liquid by cranking the voltage with a low resistance atty.

Jeff says he bought the pink battery for his wife but we know better.

All my e-cigs and mods are pretty and cute in my eyes but at the same time they are quite manly. They are mostly chrome or black or both and I have one blue mod. How about a nice pink eGo battery?
