I would think that pharmaceutical glycerin is better suited for vaping than food grade. The skin protectant I use is 99.5% glycrin and USP and food grade that I saw says may contain traces of nut or peanut. I've used both but generally not more than 20%. PG is a much better flavor carrier and makes for a better throught hit. I would go with all PG If I had to choose from one or the other.

What Would You Do With A Half Billion Dollars?
Mike replied to mjradik's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I'd get a couple more tattoos that I wanted, an old chevy nova/clean but not too perfect, Harley Davidson or other custom American V-twin bike and have my Gibson Explorer refretted by a profesional. I did a less than perfect job after I did the fretboard inlays. The rest I'll blow on booze and hookers...J/k lol -

That's a deal mjradik, so long as less than 50,000 different people don't post here because then I'd be broke again! -
The mailman is probably getting pissed at me. Between all the orders from me and my brother he has a lot more to carry. lol

I've been at it for over 2 years and I'm still learning. I used to think a kgo was just a typo and thanks to Viper Ron I now know what a drip shield looks like. Vaping is evolving very quickly and it's hard to keep up but there's always someone here to answer any questions.
-
I'm not sure what a drip shield is either I'd like someone to post a pic of that. Not sure it's for me though but I am curious. Whether or not the battery is low the atty can leak. I can assume that when dripping and after a few toots not all of the juice is vaporized and then we drip again and so on. They get flooded this way. I'm not saying to vape it till you get a dry hit but sometimes all you need is one drip, sometimes 2 or three. It's a delicate balance and some leaking is unavoidable at times. The Joyetech batteries I use don't have a drop-off until the last couple of toots but other eGo type batteries do. LR attys can vaporize juice quickly and keep up with your regular dripping until your power goes down so that might have something to do with it also.

Another thing is when you have several different flavors you can always DIY a custom flavor by combining them. If you think 2(or more) flavors would go well with each other you just might be right. Do this in small amounts in case it blows chunks but remember the proporotions so you can recreate it. For example Traditional Tobacco and Dulcis from VTstore combined make a great RY4. I think you might use less Dulcis than TT for a real RY4 taste. This can be done with any juice of any flavors but getting something good is personal opinion and hit or miss, like everything else. -

My brother got his Provari yesterday and was bragging about his hooka/bong style mod that he built, homade atty and all that stays submerged in juice. Little does he know I have a Provari mini coming and although he makes better mods than me, I make better DIY liquids. -
I agree with gvape about rotating the tank cart as or after you carfully push it in fully. I actually have better luck with the hard tank caps and when I punture it for the first time I "screw" it in as I push it down. I've never had leaking problems from this conection even on my oldest tank carts, I still use them after a couple of months. I don't like the idea about using any kind of sealant though.

One more tip. On this forum if you scroll down to "supporting supliers" all you have to do is start at the top of the list and work your way down. -

Your going to find something you like at almost any site but it's usually hit or miss. I found Halo to have quality juice. Even the flavors I didn't like much I still apreciated how well the flavor strenghts and vapor quality are. Also Dekang has many good juices that are sold by many different suppliers and are consistant in quality. If you haven't tried VT or Forever Vapor you should. Traditional Tobacco is great and Midnight is another one. I think it tastes like strawberry champaigne. And Sweet Dawn is another non-Tobacco one that has a pear flavor. These might be made be Dekang or in China I'm not sure but someone will say something if I'm wrong. I have nothing against chinese eliquid or made in the usa and I would recomend trying juices from all reputable sources. -
That's how mine are from ecigexpress, I also have the LR variety coming from Vapor Kings. I like these a whole lot!

Oh, so I was paddling down the street in my cannoe when I saw a one legged man licking an ice cream cone and I thought to myself, I wonder how many pancakes it takes to shingle an elephant. -
I've tried Winston from Wordup. It's one of thier better tobacco flavors imo. Last I knew they have an option for all of thier juices to be PG, VG, or 50/50 mix. I always got 50/50 mix but if I were to make it myself I would make it 80%pg 20%vg. Some supliers will not disclose thier percentages and will only say that thier juice contains both or one or the other.

I am a total moron. I don't understand this thread. Had bbq ribs today. Thursday was in the 80's, cold enough to snow tomorrow morning. Still can't wait for the mailman... -
Hello keamy, are you really in China? I'll bet every member here has at least some part of thier e-cig/mod that was made there.

I've seen my brother and two other aquaintances buy the kGo mega 1100mAh starter kits for $43 plus shipping from sweet-vapes. That's a great price for 2 batteries alone and you get a charger, 2 attys, cones, etc. It works exactly like my 1000mAh Joytech batteries but I don't notice any extra anything because of it's slightly higher voltage. Don't know how much the bateries are alone but why not get the kit and have an extra charger, attys and so on. My experience with 1000mAh Joytech batteries is I put a fresh one at 6am and I'd have to chain vape quite often to drain it by the evening but it usually lasts me til I am ready for bed. If the kGo 1100mAh batteries can do this, and I suspect they do, This would be a great way to get a bigger battery for smaller money. I just might do this myself when my Joytech batteries are no longer usefull.(This may take another year or so)

@Jeff, Would you concider this charger to be safe to use for AW 18350 and AW 18490/18500 high drain batteries? I use it to charge a 14500. It reads TrustFire multifunctional charger. output: 4.2v 500Ma

Just out of curiosity.... who has the best deal for the PVmini and how long before they ship it to me.

Sounds like you will continue to strengthen and will be running and jumping around in no time. I wish you the best. -
No offense taken and I'm sorry if it seems like I brought heat on you, that was not my intention. If there was no differnces in opinions we would have this forum. Like when you say that a voltage is outdated I totally disagree. 3.7 is the industry standard weather or not it is regulated, or varries slightly during use or the meter says 4 or 3.1 with a load or what ever. The electrovoperoligists say that kgo has a higher voltage output. The amperage is what really does the work and I don't know how they compare that way but by going up with voltage and amperage doesn't mean your going to get a better vape. There are more variables to punch in like what kind of atty/carto/dual coil that the battery is pushing. I have tried 3 different large mah "3.7" batteries today to see if I could notice a difference. I'm not putting this in the review section because it was not an extensive comparison. Joyetech eGo 1000mAh SLB kgo 1100mAh Mark's mod 14500 900mAh I tried all back to back and back again with a Lr306 drip atty. No noticable difference I tried kgo and eGo with ego c tank setup. No noticable difference I tried kgo and eGo with kgo atty. No noticable difference I tried kgo and eGo with elegance clearomiser No noticable difference I liked the lr 306 the best. The elegance clearomiser in not lr but works good and even better at 5 volts(different mod) The one way the kgo beats the eGo is the price but that's only if it can stand the test of time. My eGo already has.

I went a couple of times with my kids in a state park and another campground but that's not the camping I like. When I was young my Dad would bring me and my brothers camping way out in the woods away from any signs of civilization. We would bring a couple gallons of water and just a little bit of munchies and catch our own supper with our fishing poles. Sometimes we would go by canoe and sometimes hike. Sometimes hunt with a 22 riffle and shotgun. Have a fire and feast on our catch and sleep in a pup tent. We didn't bring much supplies, we didn't need it. This is the kind of camping I want to do again.

My experience with the eGo C still has no leaking issues even with the hard plastic tank caps and after many refills. I am using a silicone one now and am having some issues. When the tank is full I've been getting dry hits. Another thing is that the cap is much more difficult to put on. I know it's suggested not to fill the tank to the top but I always did with the hard cap and had no problems. I'm going back to the hard cap because it works fine for me and it's easier. Also I haven't had issues when the juice is low either. There were a couple of times that it leaked for whatever reason but for the most part it works for me like it's designed to from begining to end. There are enough parts in this e-cig to make diagnosing a problem difficult. That's why I wouldn't recomend it to anyone but at the same time I like it very much for myself. Mabey it's not the tank cap that's causing leaking problems for some vapers, mabey it's the way the heating coil sits in the base or something. I don't know because I haven't had these problems.

This is the second time I saw the word "pethetic" to describe the eGo batteries. I think not. Both of mine work perfectly for months now. One of them is 9 months old and one is 3 months and I can't tell them apart and I don't get a drop off in power until the very end after about 14 hours. Yes I use LR attys and I don't think it can get much better. Tomorrow I will put my setup on a kgo 1100mah bat. My brother just got a kit. I'll compare how each battery works with different attys and clearomisers, etc. and give you my honest opinions. Can't wait to put these 2 to the test.
