Omg! Forgot How Good Strong Nicotine Tastes... Lol
Mike replied to mjradik's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I went down to 12mg a few months ago and I was OK with it for the most part but I had an urge to chain vape. After a couple of 30ml bottles at 12mg I decided to go back to 18mg. It's not so much a TH issue with me, more like I need a higher nic level in me without vaping my head off. I was at 24mg for nearly 2 years before I went to 18 but that was a much easier change for me and flavors taste better than they do at 24. -
You might want to check out smokelessimage.com. The Volt e-cig is good for noobies and veteran vapers alike. I have one and I like it alot. They are actually a kr808, 2 piece e-cig. Cartomisers are pretty cheap and you can buy them filled or blank and fill yourself and refill many times. You can get a small or slightly bigger battery, with a button or automatic. I have a small auto and it works great, just like smoking a real butt. They last 2-3 hours which is unbelievable for such a small battery. If your looking for a cig-like e-cig choose this one. If you don't care what it looks like you should probably get a kgo or ego kit and then buy some LR Vision clearomisers for it. ----Just my opinion.

Good Luck Dejavo, Hope everything works out for ya!

Buying pre-made juice is not too expensive once you narrow it down to the 3 or 4 or less that you like. A 30ml should last you a couple of weeks at least, mabey 3 or 4 depending on how much you vape. I used to go through a 30 in about 3 weeks and I paid top dollar, about $24. There are much better deals than that out there but I wanted to stick with a particular juice. Now that I'm all over the place as far as flavors go it makes sense to me to mix my own. There is a big cost to start because of all the flavors, VG, PG and PGnic that you need to make a wide variety of juices. Not to mention measuring equipment, empty bottles and so on. The up side of that is a 15ml of flavoring will go a long, long way and last you a long long time. So will a small(177ml) bottle of VG or PG and they are very cheap. The flavors run from $1.50 to $4 for a dram or 15ml. It's all very cheap but it all adds up too. PG or VG with nicotine is the most expensive ingredient but even that is not so bad and in the long run you can make juice for pennies/ml .. BUT I wouldn't recommend making your own juice to save money. This is something you should do as a hobby because you like to be creative. You'll find satisfaction in making great tasting and vape-worthy juice but you'll be pulling the hair out of your head if you try this just to save money. There are other forms of DIY which include fiddling with already made juice. You can give an extra drop of a similar flavor or totally different one, combine juices together for a combination, add a couple drops of VG to a PG juice for more vapor etc. DIY is a lot of fun and rewarding for me but you need patients and the "want" to do it.

Who Offers The Best In Flavors, In Your Opinion?

Who Offers The Best In Flavors, In Your Opinion?
Mike replied to Dejavu's topic in General Vaping Discussion
For non-tobacco flavors, Mrs. T's bakery has a very big menu and her flavors are really really good. She uses more VG than PG and the liquids are pretty thick. I've tried about a half dozen of her juices and she does a real good job but plan on waiting a week or so before she ships it out to you. She is kinda slow like that but her bakery and drink flavors are great. -

Slow but steady progress on my DIY juice. Cumaran pipe,20%(flavor west) with a couple drops of Vape Wizzard(flavourart) with 20%VG(Walmart) mixed to create 18mg/ml makes a pleasant tasting pipe tobacco vape. Flavourart tobacco flavors need only 2%-5% of flavor. "Cowboy" is not very good imo but when I add about 15% of FlavorWest butterscotch it suddenly gets much better! -
Waiting for a control board for my electric stove. Been getting take out and eating from the microwave. Just ordered juice for the first time this year also. I wanted to try that Raging Biatch.
-
I just ordered 2 more, this time from litecigusa. They only have the red translucent in stock for LR and they are $4.95. Hoping that these will truly be low resistance. The ones I have now are on the borderline between LR and SR but they still produce very well on my ego battery.

I have tried crappy cartos with my 510 2 years ago. The Volt cartos are pretty good. I've heard alot about Boge cartos, I need to pick up some of those. Other than that Vision clearomisers and eGo dual cartos. I like Vision but don't know what to make out of the dual cartos I won, haven't messed with them much. The eGo tank systems work good for me and I do have a eGo adapter for my ProVari but I want a different setup for it.

Christopher said, on a different thread: SR Boge cartomizer on a Pro Vari (with a drip tip to prevent leakage coming out the top) ....I like this idea. I never tried Boge but it's talked about a lot. I'm all set with mods. eGo, Volt and ProVari along with my redneck mods are plenty and they all work like a dream but I'm always on the lookout for juice delivery methods when dripping is inconvenient.

A ultra-super-mini ProVari the size and shape of half smoked analog that can read my mind and deliver the flavor and the amount of vapor I'm thinking about at any time... and powered by cosmic radiation that is ready available so I don't have to charge it. Until that comes out. I like my ProVari mini but I need to try other delivery methods. I'm open for suggestions....

I haven't heard any bad news from 2 people I know who bought a kgo kit 2 weeks ago. If can last without the batteries or charger breaking than they are well worth the money. The attys and carts they come with are crap-ola imo(don't hate me kgo lovers). I would suggest a lr306 atty for dripping and still not sure about which tank/clearomiser/carto to recommend. The Vision clearomisers are a must try and you might want to see if there are sales on lr ego type a or type b tank attys or type C trial. Make sure tank attys come with tank carts, you might have to buy a 5 pack separately. If they are cheep enough it's worth checking them out but there are so many other options these days. The lr eGo type B tank attys (more so than ego C, never tried ego type A) are very low resistance(1.5) and vapor monsters. And they last a long time. I'm using one today that I put away last year after vaping on it for at least a month and it still kicks but. It holds about twice the juice as ego c but it has a wide whistle tip that some people might not like. The flavor quality isn't as good after a month but I have like 5 of these that still work like crazy and don't seem like they want to die.

VG works well as guitar string lube and it softens my fingers while I play. It also makes your lips taste sweet. -
What Kind Of Music Are We All Into?
Mike replied to blucavvy's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I like all of those too with the exception of Eminem. I can't stand his "music". My former wife used to like him and it rubbed off to my kids a little but all the other ones I like a lot. @bobthesalesclerk- I'd like to here your music. What part do you play in the band? All originals or covers too? -

I have to learn this song for the band. Hard rock with drop D tuning, originally recorded with a 7 string. I found this version played by some guy named Aaron. I'm hooked on this acoustic version. -
What Suppliers Do You Go To For Your Diy Stuff?
Mike replied to twelveday's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
There is no such thing as pure nicotine,or at least you should never try to obtain it. A couple of drops could drop anyone dead by just getting it on your skin. There are some suppliers that will sell 100mg per ml(vg or pg) but even this is to dangerous to work with IMO. Personally I use 60mg per ml but since I vape 18mg/ml I could get away with using 36mg/ml. No matter what you need to be carefull and keep out of reach of children and pets. 60mg/ml probably won't get a smoker or vaper sick if it got on you skin and you washed it off right away. 100mg/ml probably would and if anyone ever drank any amount of any dosage they could get really sick or worse. 100mg/ml=10% nicotine by weight and very dangerous. Imagine how dangerous 100%pure nicotine would be! As for non-nic ingredients. Walmart or local bakery or pharmacy for VG, Local bakery, craft store, ecigexpress for flavors. Tractor Supply sells PG which I think is USP. I got a small bottle of PG from BluemistVaping but for a $19 you can get a gallon from Tractor Supply, so long as it's suitable. Does anyone know for sure? There's one right up the street from me and they have it in stock but I never checked into it. -

I was playing oven repair guy today. The ohmes reading on the bake element was 17 and that's good. The bad news is the voltage going to it was only 32. Looks like I need a new control board. -
It says LR but I find that hard to believe. It should be closer to 2 and not more than 2.5. but it seems to be more like a lr than the ones I got from ecig express even though they are the same on the meter. Must be the juice. It does work great so I can't complain. Not as powerfull as a lr 306 but at least as good as a lr eGo c.
-
I tested 2 from Vapor Kings on my brother's Provari and the ohmes was 2.5 and 2.6. This doesn't quite fall into the lr catagory. If I'm not mistaken, the 2 from ecigexpress also came in at 2.6 and look identical but were not advertized as LR. The box it came in from VK says Vision Ego Clearomizer and www.visonecigar.com but nothing else. I made sure to order LR. Don't know what's up with that but they do work really nice.

Mabey mini isn't the best way to decribe it. New and compact mabey. With the extension cap and the same battery as the original without it, it appears to be about quarter inch shorter. The teardrop design in the body really makes it look sharp. Without the extension cap it is about 3 1/2". That's at least 1/4" shorter than my eGo battery alone(1000mAh). I just had to get one. This will be my very first mod that I didn't have to build myself. I got the blue led upgrade too. They shipped it out to me today after only 3 days. I'm phsyched!!!

So...you're Leaving The House For 1-3 Hours
Mike replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Lately I've just been bringing a filled eGo C or clearomizer and a filled and charged Volt ecig. No bottles needed. The old eGo type B tank, 3ml I think, and 900mAh battery used to get me through a 9-10 hr. work day and that was all I brought with me on many occasions. I sometimes live dangerously. -
