  1. One month from now my band will be ready to play out. One year from now we'll be touring the world in a private jumbo jet... or more likely we'll put the equipment in the back of my work truck and play locally for free food and drinks. One year from now I want to bring my kids to Disney in Florida while they are still young. One hour from now, when it stops raining, I will be on my new motorcycle to get an inspection sticker.
  2. I believe standard resistance is somewhere in the mid 2's and 3.0 is high resistance for high volt devices(does anyone use these? It defeats the purpose.) Like Jeff says, Joyetech standard 510's work great for variable volt. I also have a SR 306 atty which I haven't used yet but I'll bet that works pretty good also.
  3. I was thinking maybe soak the carto end in alcohol to dissolve out any crap out of there but I wanted to hear from the 808 wizard first.
  4. Trying for the Josh Becket look at the father-daughter dance.
  5. Ok, so I've been using a Volt e-cig and one of the "sealed" auto batteries is acting up. I have to draw real hard to make it activate and it sometimes stays on after I'm done. Is there any hope for this battery, I mean can it be fixed or should I scrap it and get another? The other battery still works fine, just as good as when it was new 2 or 3 the months ago. Is this the lifespan of these things or what?
  6. How about Lorann's pear and pear naturals. I tried the natural one and it's real good but there is alcohol in it and you can't use too much without the alcohol hurting the flavor. I have the other one but haven't tried it yet. Anyone know about other pear flavors or the Lorann's I haven't tried? Pear is a flavor I like. A note on my cigarish tobacco flavor. It works great with my Volt ecig. This juice will put hair on your chest and makes that little kr808 feel much bigger.
  7. It works a little better on the Provari. 3.9v or low 4's but if you go any higher you'll get a burnt taste that won't go away.
  8. You gotta try their "Mapacho Tobacco" it's under the catagory Signature Tobacco. I read a good review about it and this time I totally agree. I won some juice and cartos in a contest and picked this one. It's really good. They also had good service to my buddies who bought kgo's and other things.
  9. That's why I like to know where my orders are being shipped from. The only time I ordered from China was for a cell phone accessory and it only took a couple of weeks but I probably won't do that again. When something ships to the US from the US it usually gets to your mailbox in 2-3 business days no matter where it was shipped from or where it was shipped to. Last time I ordered from VT store I got it in 2 days, That's more than 3,000 miles, I was impressed with the postal service and with Chris' quick response to my order.
  10. I just whipped up Bam's Bavarian Cream and a Honeysuckle Tobacco from Bluemist. My experience with BM DIY flavorings is 20% usually works well and 2 or 3 days to steep but do I really have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for the Bavarian Cream!?!
  11. Good tip about the EM. In my case I super concentrated crystals in warm PG, waited a day, some crystals reformed at the bottom. I added just a little more pg, warmed it up again and repeated this proccess over the course of a week until I have the highest concentration of EM in my PG. I started of with almost a1/3 bottle of crystals and filled it not all the way to the top with PG. In the end I have a nearly full 30ml bottle of this stuff. My question is: Should I use this at 1 or 2% or less and what if I were to disolve it in PGA or use Cotton Candy Flavoring? I'm gonna try one of Bam's recipies tonight.
  12. If you say Greensmoke is pretty good I'll take your word for it. I stand corrected but I only said that because I haven't heard any good reviews about it but that doesn't mean anything either.
  13. Glad your happy with the 306 atty danpio. I've been getting frustrated with ego c lately ever since I tried vaping 50/50 pg/vg juice. I vaped this in the past with the older ego tank systems with no problems. Now there's a problem. I'll use ego C for the thinner, mostly pg juices otherwise I'm dripping or using the ego type b tank atty which for some reason works great with 50/50 and holds more juice. You should also try Vision Clearomisers. They are hassle free and work great with any ego type battery.
  14. I'm not proud of the big mess I had going on. What you didn't see in that picture was more bottles, cartos, attys and driptips all over the desk near my monitor. I've since cleaned it up. The shelves have to go too. I want to be more like Jeff.
  15. After only 12 hours my creation tastes quite different. All the flavors have come together a little more and I can't notice the coffee and the vanilla/chocolate(cookies n cream) like I could last night. What I have at this point is a cigar flavor that is very close to a different Halo flavor, Bella Vellencia. It still has good TH and vapor and I do like the flavor but it's far off from what I was trying to do. It does have that real cigar taste and not as strong as Bella at this point. Still happy with it.
  16. Welcome to the forum khomkrit. If you want an ecig that looks like a cig you'll have to get a white battery with an orange led and pick up some cartos that have that yellow filter look. There are some kits that come like this but not by a good brand of ecig, at least not that I know of. I don't concider Greensmoke or Blu "good". I don't want my ecig to look like a cigarette but sometimes I want one that size. I'm happy with the Volt from smokeless image which is similar to the kit on the first post replied here. I like the small battery so the overall size is as short as it can be but if you're trying to make a change over from smoking you might want a longer battery life so you don't get frustrated as much. Cartos can be refilled quite a few times before they are ready to be tossed out so get yourself some eliquid with your kit.
  17. There's another shop that opened up a little farther away and the word is they have better stuff but prices are high. I think we'll start seeing more of these shops in the future and prices will come down eventually but my mailman still delivers the best products at the best price.
  18. I don't have much patients when it comes to steeping my mixes but I always do a warm water bath. I do notice an improvement after a few days but usually they are pretty good right away. I just made a new one that I'm excited about. There are a lot of different flavors involved and I was trying to make something like Torque 56 going off of descriptions I've read about not how I remember it to be. One description was full flavored tobacco with a real good TH and hints of Coffee and Vanilla. With this in mind I put aside a bunch of ingredients and whipped up a big 30ml because I'm feeling lucky. The juice is only a couple hours old and I'm loving it already even though it tastes nothing like Halo's Torque 56. Here are my flavor ingredients in order from most to least: FW Coumarin Pipe BM Cookies n Cream FW Tobacco Regular PA DK Tobacco Base BM Rob's Black Jack FA Coffee Espresso BM Honeysuckle Tobacco FA Vape Wizzard FA Perique Black 70/30 and 24mg because my noobie friends like high nic but I don't know if I want to share it now. The TH and Vapor is among the best I've created and if it steeps for the better this will be my greatest creation yet, at least for my taste.
  19. There's a flea market in the next town over from me that has an e-cig store set up in it. Last I knew they sell 2 different kinds of e-cigs. One is like a kr08 and the other is like an ego. I say "like" because they are both cheap knock-offs but they aren't selling them cheap. They also sell e-liquid and I can only guess what that is like. The people working there are obviously not vapers because they couldn't answer the simplest questions. Their products suck, their prices suck and these people just have no clue.
  20. Yes!!! I would like you to go on. This is very helpful and interesting. FW Coumarin Pipe, a tobacco flavor that is not "smokey" tasting but does remind mind me of pipe tobacco and it's not super-concentrated. 20% is OK and other tobacco flavors will enhance this one. BlueMist Cinnamon Bun and Danish Pastry, Another couple of flavors from BM that I like a lot along with Cookies n' Cream. 20% is a good starting point for these. They seem to need only a couple of days to steep. I have Lorrann and Capella eggnog but haven't tried either yet, Also have Lorranne and Signature cheesecake which I need some direction or experimentation on.
  21. Big tobacco can kiss my ***. If it came down to it all I have to do is figure out how to extract or obtain nicotine and I don't need help from anyone. I don't use much now but I still want some in my juice. Other than that I already have 100% working homade mods with homemade attys and juice that is that completely made from scratch. I've paid tax on cigarettes for years and if a tobacco co. thinks they're gonna get more money outta me they gotta nother thing commin'.... my middle finger.
  22. How about fruit or bakery flavors? Bam says Capella has a real good strawbery, what other flavors are noteworthy? Kitsune and I like the butterscotch from FlavorWest but it isn't much different from the one I tried from CK products. And who has the best bavarian cream?
  23. I've used ecigExpress several times and they are quick to fill and order and ship it to me. They have a huge selection of DIY stuff and lots of other goodies. Their prices are similar to what you would find in other places and larger orders (I think it's $60 or more) are shipped free. I like this one.
