  1. Like is said by more than one person, there is good and bad to come out of this. Personally I wish that big tobacco would never have gotten involved in the first place. I like to think of e-cigs and vaping as something that is a tobacco companies' nemesis not their compadre. It will create lots more awareness about vaping but coming from a tobacco company who is willing to believe what they have to say. I don't like it but I don't think it can hurt us, at least I hope not. Those of us who have been vaping a while already understand the whole thing but newer people might look at vaping as another one of big tobacco's big lies.
  2. My 80 year old grandmother does. I hope she rides it safely and doesn't get upset when I ask for it back.
  3. I didn't realize that the long wick ones everyone was talking about is the V2. I have several of the short wick ones that I use on my provari at about 4 volts but am not completely satisfied with them on an ego battery. The resistance issue won't matter much after I get the new Twist-variable ego battery.
  4. Flavor West Yellow Cake and Lorann Blueberry = Yum! I used much less blueberry than cake because I think it is a stronger flavor. Total flavor % is less than 20. First vape right after creation tastes great and it is a nice translucent purple color.
  5. This looks promising. It looks and works like the original ones but has 8 wicks. I like the resistance options also. They claim to fall into a tighter and lower range.1.8-2.0 for lr and 2.1-2.4 These things would be great on an ego battery if they truly had about 1.9 ohm resistance, in my opinion. Who has one? Tell us what you think. I only just found this one supplier with them but they will probably soon be everywhere.http://www.ecigbestsave.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=VISION+V2
  6. I'm anxious to have one of these in my hand. It's made by Joytech, that's all I need to know. Their batteries haven't let me down yet (except for the old 510 auto ones, they sucked).
  7. Maybe on the next paycheck. I spent too much money on my new bike. Sounds good though.
  8. Welcome to Vapor Talk Dottymay. You will get used to dragging on an ecig in no time. Some types have an easy draw some do not but mostly you should be doing the same thing. Take a slower, easier draw and for longer than you did with traditional cigarettes and you'll get better results. I use a Volt and I get plenty of vapor. The eliquid that it's filled with has a little to do with it also but that's another story. eGo type batteries are great for long battery life and there are many options to set it up the way you want. You can put a carto on it or tank clearomiser or a atty with a cartridge or drip tip. Any questions, just ask.
  9. Waiting on a new motorcycle helmet and teardrop mirrors from Amazon.com. I'm gonna have to wait on new eGo and Volt batteries. I'm down to 1 of each but I have mods for back up.
  10. yeah, 12 day is right. You should get blank cartos and fill them yourself or get a certain flavor prefilled cartos to start and a bottle of juice the same flavor to refill. Cartos don't take flavor changing very well so use different cartos for different flavors. They can be filled a half dozen times or more before they loose flavor and vapor.
  11. What about a Halo G6? It must be a decent ecig coming from Halo. Is this a kr808?http://www..com/white-electronic-cigarette-starter-kit.html I know the price is high but that's the way this company is. They do have some awesome juice though. I'm still happy with my Volt which is a kr808.http://smokelessimage.com/starter-kits/voltbasic.html
  12. Both. But most of my stuff is manual. Is the Halo G6 a kr808?
  13. A while back I got: TRV Tobacco TRV RY4 TRV 555 I like how you can get the vg/pg at different ratios from this supplier. I got everything pg 75/25 vg and 18mg/ml. I liked the TRV Tobacco the best and 555 next. I was never a fan of RY4. Good Vapor and TH from all and quality juice. Similar in flavor and as good or better than I've had from anywhere else.
  14. I knew about that super high concentrate but it didn't make much sense to me until now. Thanks for the inside look at what juice supplier's do. For small time do it yourselfers like me a quarter-liter of PG with nic @ 48, 36 or 100mg/ml will last me for months and the price is cheap enough that it isn't an issue. I just get what I like to use. I got the 100mg/ml PG-nic to I could try out some high VG mixes without having to buy my nic in VG but I'm most comfortable using 60mg/ml base or cutting it with vg and having a 36mg/ml flavorless base. I make about 4 10ml bottles and a couple of 3-5 ml samples a week for myself to vape and save for later and to share with friends. Having to fill orders when there are so many different flavors and nic levels and doing it on a much larger scale is still a bit beyond my comprehension and I have no desire to go there. I don't want to discourage anyone from DIY because it's fun and rewarding but you need not know what your doing and be as safe as you can. Not only DIYers but all vapers who have bottles of juice.

Welcome Heavy. I like the small 808 batteries and the ego type batteries. I usually carry one of each with me at all times. Always have backups!
  16. NHaler sells a lot of genuine Joyetech products but I didn't see a gold band one on their site. Joytech often makes attys for suppliers with gold bands and the supplier's name engraved on it. I have one that says Litecig USA with a gold band and it's a Joytech SR atty. Wordup has these with their name on them and there are many more but they always say in the description if it is a Joytech and if they don't it probably isn't. These days there are lot's of different attys made by the same manufacturer and from different ones and I don't know which are best but from what I have I'd have to pick the lr306 but they come from different manufactures also and I don't know which ones I have. Back in the old days sites would advertise Joye/Janty attys and send you a SLB clone. That wouldn't happen these days because word gets out much faster and they wouldn't last long as a business.
  17. It's no wonder the flavors are muted after 2 months. lol. You got your money's worth out of that one. I've gone a couple of months on some attys but sooner or later it's time for it to go even if it still produces goos vapor. I have real good luck with all my attys and carto's and hardly ever pop them or break them or get duds. I usually retire them after 4-6 weeks for the purpose of having better flavor. The Elegance and the Vision are pretty good for flavor but I get flavor longer out of 510 and 306 drip attys but these clearos are definitely a good buy.
  18. Thanks for sharing that with us. Accidents happen and I'm glad you're still alive. Is the cost that much cheaper when you get pure nic or 500mg/ml? Are there any other advantages? I only see disadvantages with that. I use 60mg/ml for my own diy and I have 100mg/ml that I will cut down before mixing. I might just cut all my nic down to 36 to be a little safer since I vape it at 18-24 and it's easier and more accurate when making small batches for myself. One other question, how long after the 7 days did it take you to recover and do you have any permanent injuries?
  19. Sounds like the wall adapter crapped the bed. I have dozens of these types of ac/dc power suppliers/adapters from everything from cell phones to guitar pedals and I can't remember ever having one of these things fail. That's why I find it strange that the kgo ones seem to have these problems. Maybe they were too concerned about making a good ecig and over looked the charger. I don't know. If it were me I'd plug the usb from the kgo into a wall adapter from a cell phone or similar 5 volt wall adapter. The brains of the charging system are in the part that you say still works, I think. If it works in a computer's usb port it will work in a different adapter that puts out the same voltage. My ego charger calls for 5v 500mA in and it sends 4.2v 420mA to the battery. I can plug the usb cable into my computer, wall outlet usb hub or cell phone wall adapter.
  20. I read somewhere that someone was looking for a honeysuckle flavor. The Bluemist honeysuckle tobacco is pretty good. Not too sweet, not much tobacco. The honeysuckle flavor is right on. It kinda reminds me of a tea with honey. Real easy to make. Just use 20% flavoring and you can vape it right away but it does get even better after a couple of days. Butterscotch from FW is very tasty and vapable right after you make it but I'm vaping some that I made a few weeks ago and the flavor is outstanding now. I think I used about 20% also. Other ingredients in these two are PG, Vg and nic, nothing else. Butterscotch goes well with FA Cowboy also. I'm feeling like trying something totally different today.
  21. Hi TG. I started modding and DIY a couple of years ago but then settled in with an eGo and a couple of favorite store bought juices for a long time. Over the last few months I have a new intrest and much success in DIY. I still use my eGo,.......and my Volt,........and my Provari,.........and my Mark's mod,.......and my Mike's mods!
