  1. Right now I'm a ProVari with a tankomiser filled with Bobas. Mmmm. I like B.B.
  2. I got Raging Witch a while back and it just isn't for me. My girlfriend vapes now and she likes it a lot. I got Bobas in the mail today and have been vaping it for hours and I can dig this flavor!!! No need to have it grow on me or any thing like that, I liked this one from the first toot.
  3. Pleasant surprise today. Nashville Vapor sent me a package and I wasn't expecting it. This Bobas Bounty is really good and I don't know what to make of this "carto in a tank" yet.
  4. When there is a desert picture on the menu and you tell the waitress "I'd like to try 10ml of this".
  5. My 650mah twists are working great. I can get up to a 8hr work shift on one battery vaping moderately. I mostly use lr drip attys and lr vision and lr eGo C and I keep it twisted down to the lowest setting. I've also have been using SR booge cartos and SR 510 attys just so I can turn it up. It's so nice to adjust the voltage with a little twist rather than pressing a button 7-10 times.
  6. The biggest, the baddest, if you missed this on another thread you have to check this out.
  7. Blu is right. Just because I didn't have a battery explode in my face doesn't mean it's OK to do. I've only used a passthru that plugs into my car's cigarette lighter and it has no battery at all. I don't like the idea of plugging an e-cig into a usb port on my computer. I did used to drip with a small 510 battery and lr510 atty but this was 2 years ago before I knew any better.
  8. I don't see why he couldn't use something low resistance if he is using it on a passthrough. Regular 510 batteries don't hold a charge for long and putting lr attys on it only make it worse but I used to do that. Also they can cause the battery to drain too quickly making it not safe so I wouldn't recommend it.....even though I did this for quite a while before I went eGo.
  9. I still have to buy flavorings, VG, and PG with nic every once in a while. The cost savings is really not that substantial but it's a fun hobby and I have the ability to customize a recipe in any way I want.
  10. Juice is pretty cheap. I see a lot of deals for about 50 cents a ml, I make most of my what I vape and it's even cheaper. I spend most of my vaping dollars on attys, clearos, and other accessories.
  11. I thought you only vaped bakery flavors. Bobas must be pretty good!
  12. Vaping as an alternative to smoking is much cheaper but you need to plan ahead. You need to have backups when it comes to batteries and attys and juice. It's not too hard. I like to place an order once a month and sometimes I don't need somethings and sometimes I get more but I hardly ever spend $100 in a month when I would spend that much in a week smoking.
  13. Did you all catch the documentary about the feud? They discussed a lot of things that wasn't in the series especially what became of the surviving family members who lived well into the 20th century. Devil Anse grave, 1839-1921
  14. I found out who banned e-cigs in indoor places in my city. I can thank Taunton's Board of Health for that one. They made that effective on April 1st of 2010 which is fitting because it is foolish.
  15. Those are not made by joyetech and I don't know which are regulated. This doesn't mean that they aren't any good. They probably produce about 4 volts off the charger and stay about 3.7 for a while and a when they drop to a certain voltage they will blink and it's time to recharge. Some of those batteries may be regulated and deliver a constant 3.2, 3.6 or 3.7 volts. Smokeless image has a regulated 3.6 battery with free charging/passthrough cable. 3 different size fat batteries with 808 threading. http://smokelessimage.com/accessories/x2-volt-battery.html
  16. That's what I use for vg and I now am using up to 50% in my DIY. I used to use much less but I have been experimenting with more and I like it but 10%-20% of vg is plenty for lots of vapor. Most flavorings, food/cake flavorings included, are water soluble and contain flavor ingredients and pg. There are some that may contain oils or sugars that are no good for an atty. Many flavors are similar in strength and 20% in the final mix is usually the most I would use. Some flavors are ultra strong and I would use 5% or less but 15%-20% is more common. here's a simple recipe for 18mg/ml To make 5ml with 20% flavor. 2.5 ml 36mg flavorless pg 1.0 ml flavoring 1.5 ml vg 1.5 ml of vg in a 5ml sample makes this 30%vg. This is about where I would recommend a pg/vg %
  17. I'm in the same boat when it comes to fruit flavors. They are not for me unless they are part of a tobacco or bakery flavor. You might want to try other non-tobacco flavors such as cinnamon roll, danish, cookies n cream, etc. If you have some fruit flavors that you don't care for much you can try adding some to a tobacco juice. Tobacco and apple is good to me.
  18. Welcome to Vapor Talk. Sounds like you like a nice cigar flavored vape. I've had a few that really taste like a cigar but none that really taste like a cigarette. There is every flavor that you can think of that you might find enjoyable and if you weren't a heavy smoker then you should get low nic like 12mg or even less. Add a few extra drops of glycerin(vg) to your juice for more vapor too.
  19. Ha!! That eGo G is too much!! Literally. I almost pissed myself when he was talking about the cartomiser holding 2 pints of juice and him vaping at 975 volts.
  20. Welcome noobie john. One flavor that I really like is "Mapacho Tobacco" from Sweet-Vapes . It's a nice flavor that isn't too much of one thing or the other. This site allows you to choose not only the nic level but also the pg/vg percentage. 25%vg is good for me but 50% or more may be to your liking also. Sometimes high vg juice may not work so well with some clearos or tank systems just so you know. If you do decide to try this flavor I would suggest buying a couple other small bottles of different flavors also, such as "Blend #5","Red Tobacco" or anything that sounds interesting to you. You never know until you try it. http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=232&category_id=19
  21. The twist battery is awesome. I don't have a need to turn it up for what I use on it most of the time but it's nice to know that I can and that I'm not limited to what I put on it. The 650mah is a nice size for someone like me who uses more than one type of e-cig throughout the day otherwise you might want the 1000mah so it lasts the whole day. I can't stress enough how durable Joyetech eGo batteries are. Mine have taken falls and have been put through a lot of abuse with no ill effects. I got one back yesterday that I lost over a month ago. It was a eGo T 1000mah with a C tank setup on it. It had been outside in the sun and rain for exactly 5 weeks. Not only does it still work but it still had a charge(and juice in the tank) and I used it for the rest of the day.
  22. It depends on what you want. How you want to vape. If you like to drip you might want a big ego type battery with a low resistant atty and drip tip, no need for higher voltage and lots of vapor and flavor. If you want a cig type that is not disposable I would recommend Volt from smokelessimage.com. This is also known as a kr808. VV is nice to have and some attys or cartos can be used at different settings to suit your likings. Ego twist c vv battery is probably the cheapest way to experience vv and there are many different delivery methods that can be screwed on to this battery.
  23. I've used eGo type B for many months and had great results. I would get the lr cylinder shaped attys. These produced huge amounts of vapor and th and great flavor. Also much less leaking and dry hits than I now have with eGo C. I had great flavor and overall performance for over a month with an atty and sometimes I would use the same one twice that long. I still have attys from last year that still work but like I said the flavor is best for the first month. Low res makes a huge difference when it comes to eGo type B attys. If you do find a better tank or delivery system let me know but I'm thinking of changing back to type B. I've pretty much had it with eGo C and also with clearos and cartos.
  24. Hetfield and McCoy are my two of my favorites.
  25. This is a very good setup. I've had some problems with Vision clearos. Some weren't working as well as others but this can happen from time to time with anything. Visions and an eGo battery has become my number 1 choice when I'm not dripping. It's easy to fill, easy to vape and easy for noobies and veteran vapers alike. Flavor and vapor can be right up there with the best of the best.
