Ego Twist And Standard Ego Use Same Charger?
Mike replied to yeroc1982's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Here's where I got my first 650mah, it's the cheapest I've found and they are out of Vermont. It got to me in less than 2 days. Don't know what shipping to Canada will cost you but it says in their policy, "All international orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail based on weight of order." http://mikeusa.com/JOYE_EGO_C_TWIST_MANUAL_BATTERY___BLACK__650MAH-details.aspx -
Ego Twist And Standard Ego Use Same Charger?
Mike replied to yeroc1982's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I got a 650mah for $20 + shipping, more like $30 for a 1000mah. Prices do vary and if you pay $6 shipping then $41 is not out of the question but you can find better deals than that. The other good thing about the twist and VV is that you might want different voltage settings with attys or clearos that have different ohms ratings. This way you can always find a sweet spot. -

Good questions, I'm interested in what drippers think about that now. I'm old school and still drip on SR and LR Joye 510 attys and more recently the 306 and the 901. As soon as I tried the 306 I thought it was a little better all around except for the unique drip tip. The LR 901 I have is bridgeless and it works great also and produces awesome flavor. The questions I have with the 306 and the 901 is they are both made by several different manufactures and I wouldn't know which are better. I've had several different 306 atties and they all worked great and so did the 901's I got from empire mods. I've always assumed that Joye makes the best 510's but things could be different now. As far as those high-end/expensive drip atties, I know nothing about them.

Hi, I've been to Des Moines and that city reminds me of cities here in New England, unlike the rest of Iowa where there is nothing but acres of corn and soy and towns that have less people than my high school graduating class. Don't know of any e-cig retailers out there but most all of my on line orders reach my mailbox in 2 or 3 business days and I order from a lot of different suppliers from all over the U.S. Glad to hear you like the eGo C, a lot of us have had a bit of frustration with that particular tank system but the eGo type battery e-cigs in general are the most popular with experienced vapers.

I'm surprised by that answer from you. It says in your interests that you like getting caught in the rain.
-
What to do? It's raining today and most of the fun stuff I do involves the outdoors where rain can put a damper on things. What does every one do when your days off are soaking wet?

Itchy or dry throat is common and drinking or sipping any kind of fluids while vaping will help with this until you adjust to it. You can puff on your e-cig all day long if you want to or a few puffs and put it away for a while or use it and still smoke regular cigs on the side. The only thing you have to watch out for is not to have too much nicotine build up in your system. Symptoms include headaches and higher nic dependency so take it easy. In my opinion 24mg e-liquid gives as much nic puff for puff as a STRONG cig so if you are going to vape more often than you smoke you should go lower. It is my understanding that nicotine has a half-life of a half hour so if you chain smoke or chain vape nicotine can reach undesirably high levels. Nicotine is really not a major health issue when kept low. I'm sure that more helpful hints will follow. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

cung pow chicken? I know I saw something like that. Most of us would agree that some of those "savory" flavors are gross. I haven't tried those but I laugh when someone says "I can't believe I bought a bottle of......"

I can't even pick a best flavor for myself. Everybody is different and has different likes on flavors. For starters, most people usually pick a regular tobacco flavor that is somewhat like they were used to in a cigarette. Winston, Camel, mboro, are all similar and don't really taste just like what they are named for but they are good and vary slightly from vendor to vendor. Also 555, ry4 are very popular and they are tobacco with a slight taste of something else, also Turkish tobbacco, cigar, pipe, flue cured are all tasty too. Then you got tobacco with apple or other fruit added.(Applebacco from Sweet-Vapes is great and also there is one from Halo that is good) and the list goes on and on. Then you have plain fruit flavors or combinations of this. These I don't like much but some do. Bakery flavors like cinnamon roll, french toast, cake batter etc. I like a lot of these. Drink flavors, alcoholic and otherwise Basically any flavor that you can think of can be found in an e-liquid including roast beaf and cow-pung chicken. The best ones are the ones that you enjoy and nobody can tell you which ones taste the best.

Those are good. I still have a couple that have been working for months but after a couple of weeks of heavy vaping the flavor quality starts to take a hit just like anything else but a couple of them will keep you going for a long time. Remember not to fill it down the center air flow tube but off to the side.

Glad to here you are determined to quit smoking. That's a good thing. And don't be a stranger, You're a member here for life.... or until you screw up and get banned, lol.

You'll find that you will crave an anolog less as you start to get into the vaping learning curve. At least that's how it was for me. I didn't even set out to quit smoking, it just happened naturally. One day I noticed that my sometimes 2 pack a day habit turned into about 2 or 3 cigs. At that point I decided not to smoke anymore. It was about 6-8 weeks in the making, back in '09 and the day I quit was the day I joined Vapor Talk. I found out all this totally on my own(in the beginning) and have come to find out that other vapers have similar stories.

My T3 just came in yesterday and I've been using it on a standard eGo battery. It works great!! I've also had some luck with the first 2 generations of Stardust/Vision and even better luck with the Vision V3. It's ok to give up on the eGo c tank but don't give up on vaping. Only $4.39 for a T3 and it's shipped out immediately. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-2-4ml-cc-changeable-coil-clearomizer-clear/ And the V3 is awesome too.http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=1206&category_id=39

Thought you were talking about Clouds of Vapor... my bad. I don't know about everyone's policy about shipping to Canada but there are a ton of reliable sites and lots of other things to try but I know you will be much happier with the Stardust.

Your not going to get a refund on an eGo C purchase but if you order a couple of clearos from c.o.v. and tell them in the comment box or customer service that you've had nothing but problems, they just might throw in some extras for you.

Congrats on not smoking! Welcome to Vapor Talk. We are very laid back here but we could use a little more noise. Feel free to shout out what's on your mind.

Just go and order a couple of cleoromisers. Vision, Stardust, T3, Vivi nova, anything, and do it now so you don't get any more aggravated than you already are. I have 2 eGo C tank setups and they don't leak but I have other issues sometimes. One has a tight draw but other than that it's ok. The other doesn't seem to keep up with moderate vaping even after playing with the wick. I want mine to leak sometimes so the juice will find the atty. I've had better luck than some with this setup but now I think it's time that I've had enough. I don't think the hard cap is the problem. I never get any leaks there. I press it down with a screwing motion and it's fine but when the tank is totally full I think a vacuum prevents the juice from going down. Other vapers have the problem of juice going everywhere. I used the older eGo tank setup for 6+ months and no problems and it is the same principal but for some reason the technology for this type of tank seems to have gotten worse. I like everything about Joyetech except for the eGo C tank. It is possible to fine tune that setup to work well but I'm done playing with it every other time I fill it. Look at the bright side, at least you have quality batteries and charger and lots of other things can be used with it.

I agree with danpio about the twist C. It works great and goes up to a solid 4.8 volts and you already have a charger for it. From what I hear the Lava Tube is a great mod also. Get BOTH if you can afford it! As far as all VG juice, they do produce good vapor but so does 30%vg 70%pg. Some all vg juice is too thick for some delivery setups but some, like Bobas, is suitable for almost any use. What you want to know is what to put on your new Lava Tube or twist c. I want to know also. I've had a lot of luck with the Vision V3 and I've always used drip attys too. Gonna try the T3 that Brian(theveteranvaper) has. I'm not much into the slotted carto in a tank thing but lots of vapers like that. Be sure to let us know when you discover something that works the best for you.

Flavor preferences vary widely from vaper to vaper. Some swear by certain tastes while those same flavs make others wanna barf. There are many popular store bought e-juices that a lot of us agree that is yummy but not all of us. This includes: Bobas Bounty(hard to describe but may have hints of the following: turkish tobacco, honey graham, coconut, vanilla, sweet beer on tap), 555 (a regular and kind of nutty tobacco flavor), coffee, fruit flavors, bakery flavors, the list goes on and on. DIY is the same thing. There are just as many flavors out there to put together anything. And just like buying something already made it is still hit and miss but you can tweek things and try different things to find your own favorites. If you are interested in DIY look through the DIY forum to get some ideas, if you are looking for the best flavors out there no one can say what they are unless they are talking about their own likes.

Seems like that it is something new and not "out" yet. He really seems excited about it. If it is not a polly-filled carto in a tank I would be interested. Time will tell if this is the next great delivery system. Looks like it would go nice with all the bigger mods that some of us have.

Your welcome, TC. This is my first and only forum also. There are lots of helpful and good people here. That's why I've stuck around here for so long.

I have read where some vapers have had sore or bleeding gums after switching from anologs to ecigs. Look in "Health, Safety and e-cigaretts" for a thread on bleeding gums for more info and others' personal experiences. As far as ulcers go, I don't think there would be a connection there. BTW, After 2 1/2 years of vaping and no cigs my teeth and gums are in so much better shape than they have been in many years.

Is that the eGo C tank you are referring to? I myself have had enough of that setup! Leaking has not been the issue, dry hits/not good juice flow to the atty has been my primary issue. You will have much better luck with the t2, or just about anything else. When you fill these type of clearos all you have to do is unscrew the tip and fill it down the side(not down the center air flow tube) and you're good to go. eGo C tanks have causes a lot of problems and aggravation to a lot of us and if you look through "help it broke" subforums concerning eGo C you'll see what I mean.
