  1. After a few of weeks I'm still lovin' these eGo 2.4ml CC (Changeable Coil) Clearomizers also called T2. They are similar to the Stardust/Vision but easier to fill, easier to change coils, hold more juice and perform a little better overall in my opinion. I got mine from Brian, just click on his link and make an order!
  2. emdcc, eGo mega dual coil cartomisers, work pretty good. I'm not one who likes cartos much. The filler inside them that hold the e-liquid tends to give the juices an extra "flavor" that can clash with the flavor that you are vaping. The emdcc is a huge carto with dual coils and you have to fill it slowly with a lot of juice but those things produce tons of vapor and lots of vapers like them.
  3. Congrats and welcome to all 3 new members on this thread!!
  4. I never cared to figure out wattage but like kitsune I know what setups work the best with what I have and I use vv sometimes to further fine tune things.
  5. Backwoods eat your heart out Cigar FlavourArt Cuban Supreme LorAnn Marshmallow Flavor West Tobacco Regular FlavourArt Vape Wizard Flavor West Caramel cinnamon chocolate vanilla EM If anyone knows what ratios I used please let me know. I've been trying to recreate this but haven't nailed it like I did the first time(this is why we make notes of things, I'm kicking myself now!)
  6. Coumarin Pipe Tobacco 1ml Flavor West Coumarin Pipe 4ml unflavored base This is one of the rare tobacco flavors that can be used up to 20%, usually tobacco flavors use up to or less than 5% because most of them are so potent. This is a great flavor but needs a drop of something more tobacco-like in it, mabey a drop or 2 of Cuban Supreme or Havana Cigar.
  7. Bavaian Cream 1 dram (3.7ml) LorAnn Bavarian Cream 15ml-20ml unflavored base,pg,vg,nic sweetener optional One of my go to favorites. This one seems to get better with age, let it steep.
  8. I play once in a while but I never play those facebook games. Why does everybody keep sending me requests? Don't they get the hint? I DON'T PLAY FACEBOOK GAMES!!!
  9. Have you made something that you are proud of? Post it here and describe it! Lemon Meringue Pie 36mg pg base(flavorless) 50% VG 30% Capella Lemon M.P. 12% LorAnn Marshmallow 6% Flavour Art Vienna Cream 2% This makes 18mg e-liquid, 70/30 pg,vg I also used a couple of drops of suclarose but EM (cotton candy) or no sweetener at all will also work. This is sooooooooooooo good!! No steep time, just mix, shake and vape. I don't have to describe what it tastes like do I?
  10. I smoked for 25+ years and the last 5 years of being a smoker I tried to quit by almost every method and nothing worked. I really tried hard too. The funny thing is when I discovered e-cigs I never thought of them as something to get me off smoking. I bought it out of curiosity and vaped for the pleasure of it. Then I noticed that I wasn't smoking nearly as much I had been. By the time I found Vapor Talk I was down to a couple of smokes a day so I decided at that point not to buy another pack and to join the forum. It was easy for me because I wasn't going into it as a way to quit smoking, it just happened that way naturally. My advice to someone who wants to make the switch is to first get a kit(you're going to have to decide which one but we can help with that also) but give it a little time and see for yourself how your desire for anologs decrease. When that starts to happen then you will feel confident about quiting cigarettes all together.
  11. I've had similar experiences as Boostedrex, both with the V3 and the T2. I like the T2 a little better and I'm glad I ordered the 2.2 ohm coils for it. They work great with the twist c. The V3 is a little more involved having a base that screws off (kind of gives me flashbacks of eGo C tank/coil setup) but it does work well for the most part.
  12. You should get a 650mah eGo twist c. It's similar in size and shape to 1100mah kgo battery but it is variable voltage. The 650mah has all the power of a 1000mah twist but those are a little too long if you ask me.
  13. I was hooked on Wordup's peanut butter last year. It was the first non-tobbacco flavor I liked for an all day vape. I haven't tried any DIY peanut butter but now I know which one to try. Thanks!!
  14. I've been working on my gallon bottle of pg for 6 months and I haven't even gone through a quart yet but I have gone through a couple 6oz bottles of vg. I mix for myself and share some with friends but a gallon is a lot and I know this will last me 2 years which I think is the shelf life.
  15. If you order 10 or more T2 replacement coils from theveteranvaper.com they are $2.00 a piece. The T2 is my new favorite clearo, it works great and easy to fill, easy to replace coils, easy to rinse and change flavor, holds enough juice to get me through a work day, etc, etc, blah, blah, any who..... I like 'em!!! ...back on topic, with or without adapters of all types you could put just about anything on an eGo battery. Drip attys and clearos are my favs but just between those 2 things I might use Stardust, V3. T2, 510, 306, 901, etc. and there are different resistances also to match up with the eGo type battery that you have or for your vaping preference.
  16. Rain again this morning and work has been called off. I think I'll go to the studio, crank up the jamz and vape.
  17. The twist c battery has been the biggest game changer allowing vapers to experience variable voltage at relatively cheap price and with a battery that is familiar to eGo users. Clearos have been getting better; Vision has V3 which is a long wick changeable coil but my new favorite is the eGo 2.4 ml cc(changeable coil), also called the T2 and made by Kanger.
  18. I haven't heard of that particular PT but I'm sure someone here has. I just keep a few eGo batteries both standard and twist and although I used to build mods and passthroughs from scratch I scraped those ideas and picked up a ProVari mini just for extra backup.
  19. Hello Tameiki. What type of e-cig was able to keep you from smoking and is that what you're still using? BTW, Congrats!! No need to answer that.. I just read your post in the general discussion. Good choice
  20. I've broke a lot of eGo batteries by accident from having them "snap" in two in my pocket at work. They are pressed together just below the button and can come apart if enough force is applied. If the tiny wires don't break away you can just press the pieces back together and you're back in business. Soldering such tiny wires is difficult and I wouldn't even want to try it. As far as the chargers go, I've never had an issue. NEVER screw your batteries in the charger like you're torquing on a lug nut. Just barely snug it with 2 fingers, that's all it needs. I sometimes wipe away any e-liquid from the contacts but don't feel the need to clean it any further and never had any problems with sticking or otherwise. As soon as there is any sign of a problem with a charger replace it immediately for safety sake.
  21. Hey blu, it's funny but ever since you got married and wasn't around here I lost interest in my 808's. I had just got 2 new auto batteries too, they only have a couple of charges on them. PM your address and I'll send them to you with a charger and I'll see if I have any blank cartos also. I'm more comfortable with my eGo's, ProVari, Mark's Mod, etc. and I want the 808's to go to someone who knows and likes what they are all about.
  22. Any 510 drip tip will do and 901 attys also use that same tip but the threads are different so instead of 510-510 you need 901-510 adapter. Those bridge-less lr901 attys from empire are wicked awsome. (Boston area slang, that means they perform very well) The 901 has my vote for best drip atty for taste. They have been known to leak easily when over-dripping and they are the reason for the invention of drip shields.
  23. I have. I've gone long stretches with no problems at all and other times with wicking issues. Boba's in my opinion is not too thick as to cause problems with eGo C but there are a lot of variables with eGo C that make that particular tank cart system act up. Maybe it's the heating coils that gum up quickly or the wick that is not in or out enough, some have leaking issues and quite frankly that system causes frustration and I wouldn't recommend it. It can work really nicely with great flavor and vapor but when it acts up I just wanna chuck it out a window. I still use mine from time to time because I have it and most of the time it works for me but if you look through "help it broke" there are lots of threads dealing with eGo C tank problems. --just so you know. I have been using Vision V3 and Kanger T2 clearomisers mostly and they both work great with Bobas and everything else I've put in there. This is what I'd suggest for you. Even the old Vision/Stardust type clearomisers are a safer bet. I've been using this one for a week and I might like it the best. The draw is a little easier than the Vision and it holds more juice and works great. And you just can't beat the price, replacement coils are cheap and too.http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-2-4ml-cc-changeable-coil-clearomizer-clear/
  24. Hey VR, I believe those are regular sized 510 attys and they can go on an eGo battery just the way they are with a regular 510 drip tip. If you want to make it look nice and/or use the drip shield that I am showing you need a short 510-510 adapter and a trim ring to hide the outer eGo threads. I got all this from Empire Mods.
  25. 70/30 is a great ratio IMO. If it's 30% vg it shouldn't be to thick for anything but in some cases this could be the case. If you have a lot of this juice that seems a little too thick you can try adding a few drops of distilled water to a small amount of it in another bottle and see how that works. Take like 5ml of the thick juice and start with about 4 drops of water or pure grain alcohol. This little bit of "thinner" is not enough to dilute the flavor or nic much at all but it will probably help the viscosity. You'll find that the thickness of e-liquid from different suppliers vary not only depending on the pg/vg ratio. Some all vg e-liquid is thin enough for your e-cig because they are thinned when they are made but some are on the thick side. This goes for 50/50 and any ratio really but 30%vg and under is usually thin enough not to add anything to make it thinner. If you like the 510, which I did for a long time, then what you need is more batteries and maybe a multi-charger. Having two or more charged batteries and 2 more on the charger is what I used to do.
