Welcome to the ProVari club. Yeah these mods are great. I can't say that they are the best because it's the only mod I ever used(not counting my homemade contraptions) and even though I can't say it, I like to believe that it is the best. I used to be a firm believer that there was no need for variable voltage but the ProVari has opened doors for me that I hadn't even thought of and even though it isn't a necessity it sure is convenient.

Gotta love the twist battery. I use clearos and drip attys that work great with it set at a low voltage. I mostly have it set up just a little bit to about 3.4-3.6 volts but when I'm not on the run and I can relax and take a good long toot I put it at 3.2 for the most flavor.

I don't know if I should trust this review or not. I love a good strawberry cheesecake but I never really liked RY4. Does this mean our tastes are different? Maybe the cheesecake will taste like crap to me because if you like RY4 and I don't then something might be different on what we think tastes good. I have had a hard time making any kind of cheesecake by DIY but I've had a couple good store bought ones. I think I might try this... What do I have to loose.

This is true. I read somewhere that nicotine has a half-life of a half hour. If you vape(or smoke) faster than your body can get rid of it your nic level will soar so be careful. You really need to be in tune with your body. If you like to vape a lot by all means LOWER THE NIC. Higher nic e-liquid is not meant for chain vaping.

It's my opinion that 36mg juice can be safe to vape under certain conditions: For a very heavy smoker who makes the switch to vaping and doesn't smoke anymore, not for chain vaping, and not to stay at that level for an extended period. My experience was to start with 24mg and at work when I couldn't vape as often I felt like I needed more nic. from fewer puffs so I went to 36mg when I couldn't vape as frequently. This worked fine and then soon after I went back to 24mg. I stayed there for a year and then droped it to 18mg. I should have dropped it sooner. Juices taste much better with less. Too much nic. gives a pepper kind of taste. A month or so later and I dropped it to 12mg, this didn't seem to cut it so I went back to 18mg where I'm still at today. I feel that 18mg is plenty safe for me. I vape a lot at times and other times not so much and that's my story.

The G6 is one of the good ones but it is not compatible with 510 cartos. The G6 is a kr808 just like a Volt and many other e-cigs by a different name(Blucavy can school you about these). There are 2 or 3 generations of these cig-sized batteries and I think they are the best when it comes to power output and how long they hold a charge. I was getting 2 1/2 or more from a small battery compared to 1 1/2 hours from a 510. The auto batteries work really well and it's the closest thing to puffing on a real cig imo. The threads are opposite and slightly different diameter than 510 so those cartos won't work but don't let that stop you from getting one. I doubt that the G6 is the cheapest way to get a kit so if you're interested in these just shop around or ask blu who has the best deals on theses types of e-cigs. I think they are the best for 2 reasons, The charge lasts longer than average small batteries and the auto switch works the best. From what I can remember going back more than 2 years, the 510 produces great vapor and thought hit as good or likely better than the kr808. It is a hair bit skinnier and it is compatible with 510 attys and cartos(it's a 510, duh!). The charge on these doesn't last very long and I didn't have a lot of luck with the auto batteries(they would activate when the wind blows or when you shake them) but the manual ones were fine. Maybe things are different/improved in the batteries now but even if they are not they still kick ***.

Don't even try to read those numbers, it ain't worth it. You are correct V.R., 3.2 all the way left, 4.8 all the way right, 4.0 in the middle. The dial rotates almost 3/4 of a full turn so if you give it a quarter-turn (about 90 degrees) that will put you close to 3.7. A quarter turn from the high end and your at about 4.3. These to spots I tend to use alot. My very lr stuff I put it to the minimum or just up to 3.4 but never do I look at those numbers.

Backups and extras never go to waste. Don't forget to grab a few different flavors. You might be surprised what you like and your tastes might change after a while also. Most of us don't just stick with one flavor and if you get one that you don't like just put it away for a while and try it again in the future. Some will grow on you and some you'll like right away.

Banana Cream Pie I'm not sure what I did but it contains: LorAnn's Banana Cream Capella Graham Cracker marshmallow vienna cream pancake custard ... about 25% combined flavoring, 25%vg and 50% Pg w/ nic. Another winner!! Wish I wrote down the exact ratios.

Getting away from the stinky smell on clothes, hair, car, etc. is the biggest thing for me. Also it's much less harmful to others around you (at least it is in my opinion). Congrats on being determined to make the change. Your body and your family will be much happier/healthier. Welcome to Vapor Talk NorthernGirl. I'm south of the border from you but NH is one of my favorite states. -- Live Free or Die!

I used to be that way too but with the twist c it's so easy, no buttons or numbers just twist it up to what you feel like at that moment. You can even raise and lower voltage in mid-toot. It's just like cracking the throttle on a rice rocket, sometimes I give it a little sometimes a lot.

Your clearos that work good with the regular battery will work just as well with the twist set counter-clockwise to the minimum setting. Try that first and then twist it up just a little bit. You'll notice it getting a little warmer and more vapor. Twist it half way and even more so but at about that point you might start to loose the flavor. It's easy to find the sweet spot, just play with it a bit. Most of my clearos are medium-low resistance and I keep my twist half-way or less(4 volts). Some attys, cartos or clearos with a more standard or higher resistance and you will want to crank it to the max(4.8 volts). Do yourself a favor and don't try to read the numbers on the dial, they are so small it isn't even worth it. Just know that counterclockwise is 3.2 clockwise is 4.8 and the middle is 4.0. and fine tune it by how you like it.

Sweet-Vapes has a eGo twist C kit that comes with 2 variable voltage twist batteries, a charger, Vision V3(a very good clearomiser), extra coils for it and a case. They also custom make eliquids and you can choose pg/vg ratio and nic strength. Dayna does a nice job with the juice and the store in general. You might be able to find other suppliers who offer eGo kits that come with clearos or something else that you might want to try. If you find something somewhere and you don't know if they trustworthy just ask. I highly recommend getting an eGo battery whether it is a VV twist or the standard 3.7 volt. They can take hundreds of charges and still work like new. 650mah lasts me half a day easy and 1000mah will last the whole day. The twist c batteries are a little longer so I prefer the 650mah. They are about the same length as a standard 1000mah. Just right for me.

I think kitsune is talking about Jeffb's post. Brian is a supplier, who BTW has lots of goodies in his store and used to be staff here at Vapor Talk. I called him Mark once in the comment box and he sent me extra stuff. He said he doesn't mind being called Mark, just don't call him Jeff. lol I don't know how Jeff would feel about being called Brian but I think that's kinda funny. Do there avatars look similar because this is the second time in a couple of days those 2 got mixed up. lol Laurel, I agree with getting an eGo type battery or, even better, the eGo twist. Here's the type of clearos I like the most and I got them from Jeff's--I mean Brian's store.http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-2-4ml-cc-changeable-coil-clearomizer-clear/

Three years is a long time but it also seems like only yesterday. I'm closing in on 3 years also and this is a great place to chat about what's up when in comes to vaping and also a great place to chat about whatever is on your mind. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

A gallon is way to much for a DIYer but it was too easy for me to walk into Tractor Supply and come out with a gallon for a $20 bill. I'm gonna end up dumping about half of it after a year has passed and that's kind of a waste. It might stay good for longer but I don't want to use un-fresh pg. Next time I will get a quart now that I know where to get it. By looking at what's left of my gallon, a quart will last me at least 6 months and probably more and I'm sharing some of my juice with friends. Brain Storm! I can get a fog machine for the band and use up the rest of it when it gets old. I think those things run on pg also. I hate wasting things.

That's what I use. A bad after-taste is what happens when you use the wrong amounts or bad combination of flavorings.

Sounds interesting and it looks good. I'd like to here a review. It's Greek to me at this point. No pun intended. My questions are how much juice does it hold. What resistance(s) does it come with, how is the flavor and vapor production and how much does is cost......

hello dirq, Welcome to VT.

Here's one of my favs. Cookie Monster can be kid friendly and heavy as hell at the same time.

I wouldn't know what to vote for. They all are reasons why I vape and there are reasons left out also. I know I'm doing less harm to myself and others and the environment and I like to puff on flavorful vapors. I spend a lot less money than when I used to smoke. It's a win, win, win situation for me.

I take that back. 20% of this flavor is a little too perfumy, also Havana Cigar doesn't seem to help it either. I would go 12% with this flavor alone and I'm still trying to find another tobacco flavor to compliment it. Making a good tobacco flavored juice is challenging.

Can't you figure that one out? She must be from South Zimbabwe. You know we have members from all over the world. Welcome to Vapor Talk Emily.
