  1. And don't forget to add "clothes" to that list ! I don't know how many jackets and shirts I've had get those little pesky ash holes when I was smoking and the wind took effect! Thank goodness I found vaping. Nevermind.. I just learned how to read. I see you DID have clothes on your list.
  2. Man, I can't imagine the melting of carts part. You must be one hardcore vaper!!! I have ordered stuff from alot of places also... and I must admit, I like Arno's products/juices the best still.
  3. LOL. Yeah, that coulda definately been the problem. Glad you had extra carts!!
  4. And just remember... different methods work for different folks. I have found that when dripping, that my 510 atty's work better when I also use a nice moist cart. But I use the PTB filler in mine. None of the other fillers seem to wick all of the juice in the cart. Ever since I've gone to the pyramid teabags it's helped tremedously! I get MANY more draws off of it before it's time to drip. Those atty's like to be wet... just not flooded. So, I guess I use both methods.... keep a cart on and when it starts needing juice then I start dripping on the atty. You'll figure out what works best for you in no time. And these folks in here are great and willing to help at anytime! Just keep askin.
  5. That's an interesting observation/question. I've never used a Bauway atty... only the Joye brand ones. Im curious to try some different 510 atty's to see how they compare. I do like the ones I have now though. I will be watching this topic to see all the input.
  6. "Dripping" is when you don't use a cart... So until you get your juice, you'll be carting it. Myself, I "drip" instead of using a cart, most of the time. That is when you drip a few drops directly onto the atty... then repeat after you vape it all. It's what most vapers do after they've been using one for a while. It took me all of 1 week to start dripping because I don't like messing with the carts. Besides that... unless I use a PTB mod in the cart it never vapes all the juice in the cart anyway. Oh, and my mailman came today too... with another shipment of juice, atty's, and batteries. I love my 510 too!!
  7. That is EXACTLY how I've been lately! I don't even want a tobacco flavored juice. None of them taste like the real thing to me anyway... so I have found myself leaning more towards the "flavored stuff" now instead.
  8. Wow. I'm sure glad everything came out ok in the end for you though!! That coulda been a disaster in the making!
  9. I went to an actual fish store the other day and they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for the Fluval 2. Why the heck can't I find this stuff anyway? I didn't think I would have to end up ordering off the blasted internet... but that's looking more like the only answer around where I live. Crazy. By the way... this method has proven the best for me by far! It keeps the rolled/folded end at the top of the cart and I have found myself not needing to top off NEARLY as often, and all the hits are like the first for the longest time it seems. www.youtube.com/thestubear62 (find his "PTB MOD VID") Thanks Stubear!
  10. This is just a thought.... I had already tossed an atty in the trash and had read somewhere about the battery end of the atty not making contact. So I grabbed a small knife and pried up that middle part a bit and it worked great. And all along I thought I had fried it. This was after using it on the VP-PT.... I'm not sure what you used yours on last. Might be worth a look if you haven't already that is. Good luck in your endevour.
  11. I just mix up a solution of half vinager and half water. I fill a syringe with it and squirt it down in the atty and rinse it around with a finger on both ends. I will also squirt it through the battery end as well a couple of times. I do this several times until she's clean then let it dry as normal. This has worked at breaking down the gunk for me. Most times I will not clean them at all though... I will just do a 4 or 5 second "dry burn" a couple of times util the old juice is burnt up. The vinager bath happens once a week maybe.
  12. What is a good idea of expiration date anyway? I was wondering this myself ... doesn't really do alot of good to really stock up too much because of that. Too bad one can't just add a preservative so it would last for years!
  13. But because I have nicotine in my system doesn't mean I'm a smoker..... especially now that I'm vaping. And the nicotine isn't what kills people that smoke... it's all the other stuff and carcinogins that ruin the lungs, etc. So what do they do in the case of someone that uses a nicotine inhaler or vaporizer I wonder? Guess I need to call and ask! Thanks!
  14. I just wish that the 510 one was a little shorter like the 801 is. It's harder to drip into than the 801 because of its height. I find I sometimes drip and it hits inside the mouthpiece... then your left with juice right there. Oh well... nothing is perfect in the vaping world yet. Maybe over time we they will get everything figured out so that there aren't little issues like that. I still like using them at times.
  15. Man, that Cuban Cigar must be alot different than the one I recently purchased. It was really fairly nasty if you ask me! I'd be nervous to try another one from a different vendor in fear it wouldn't taste good either.
  16. I was wondering the other day about something. When I first filled out all the info on a life insurance policy I recently got I of course marked "smoker" in the blank. Well, now that I'm not a "smoker", or don't "use tobacco", what is one supposed to put down in that question since "vaping" isn't an option? I know my premium is a hell of a lot higher because of being a smoker... so I was just curious as to how this is handled when someone has to answer that question and the correct option isn't there to mark ? Thanks again my friends!
  17. Luckily, I didn't save all my receipts from what I've purchased. But I'm one, like most men, that thouroughly enjoys new "toys". I can sit on the couch for hours tinkering with them and trying different things. I often get the "your crazy" look from my wife at the other end. Thank goodness she understands the difficulty in only buying one PV. All I know is that my health and happiness is worth much more than I've spent on E-cig supplies. And that's going to stay that way... so I look at it as if I'm always going to be ahead. PEACE!
  18. And I assume you don't modify your carts at all, correct? I've never used a cart from the factory that was any good wicking juice! I've been using the PTB mod lately, when I need a cart, and I nearly use every drop from them with it. And that is in either my 510 or 801 carts... but I mostly drip if I can.
  19. I agree! Those are some of my favorites as well. I like most all of Arno's juices though.
  20. I know what he means... our crappy WalMart doesn't have it either! I had to go out of town to a fish store to buy some. It doesn't work nearly as well as the PTB anyway... but I guess I will have some in case I need it. I will say this though... it works alot better when used with the straw mod I found. Not really sure why, but it sure does.
  21. It's a giant hole in them... and I've yet to get the dreaded "liquid lips". I really don't know what keeps it from happening... luckily I had already learned not to suck these e-cigs like a normal analog. Only time will tell if they keep working .
  22. Well not too much today... but I did get the two "T-Tips" that I had ordered from Super T Manufacturing. I got one for my 801 and one for the 510. For the most part I really like em! Once you put it on you don't have to worry about taking the cart off to drip... you can just drip right thru the hole in it. The only downside is that it is a piece of brass in your mouth... not the most pleasant thing to suck on I suppose. Overall... I will live with that for the simple fact that I can now drip directly thru it and not have to worry about carts/tips anymore.
  23. That would be pretty sweet! Would save me having to take the time and patience to do it.
  24. And another thing I would like to see become a "standard"... is the PTB Carts. Since just getting my 510 yesterday I did the "rolled, folded, and frayed" teabag mod. I cannot believe how much better it vapes!! So why don't the suppliers just make those available to us??
