I can't even begin to tell you how many of the cheap/Chinese pass-thru's I've been thru in the short time I've been vaping. They are complete and utter crap in my opinion. Nothing compares to the..... yep, VP-PT ! The money spent on it when only hurt for a short time... until the first time you use that baby!

Can't add much that hasn't already been said... But I will say that I prefer awesomevapor's juice over most others right now. My oh my look at all the noobs in the e-cig world!

Hello and welcome! From what I've read on here at this point you might be purchasing another unit in a short time. I mean, I haven't heard a ton of great things about Blu. I do know how well my 510 works though... and my VP-PT! You'll find what works for you... just don't give up on the hunt. There's definately a learning curve involved.

It is one of those inner boxes that goes in the bag type tackle boxes... I already have several floating around my house so I gave it a try. The little 4 drawer box works great for all my other "hardware, etc" . My aren't we a tad over-anal about our storage facilities!! At least I know I am! @FT - Your "goods" require that you take a pic!

I would also highly recommend using the 801 atty's on the passthru as well. 801's seem to "perform" much better at that higher voltage.

My "tackle" thus far...

Oh it was rough. Especially after I was teased for a week with her before sending her away.

Who would have thought that I would have missed my wonderful/sweet VP-PT so much? I sent her off to get "serviced" after her light stuck in the on position after only 1 week. Once this tragic event took place I had to return to using other methods. I had to survive my days on the "other" (crappy) passthru from China... and it wasn't pretty. I never imagined that once she was back in my hands today that it would be such a glorious occasion! I can only wonder if our time apart has affected her in the same way it has me. Once again... my life has meaning... and I have a reason for living. I just wanted everyone to know just how important my sexy VP-PT is to me. Thanks for lending an ear. Now I've got to get back to the one I love.

Thanks for all the comments thus far. And INCONSISTANT is a fact! I've never had two 801's act the same it doesn't seem. Tempermental little bastards. I'm still awaiting the 2nd arrival of my VPPT. I have not tried any 510 atty's on it either... as I've really liked it with the 801's. Otherwise, I haven't picked up my 801 since I've had my 510... who knew this little guy was that much better!! (all of you knew... and I listened) I will probably just use the 801's for the most part on my VPPT when it gets here. Otherwise, I will have 18 atty's sitting in the box with nothing to do with themselves.

This is EXACTLY how I do it as well!

Like Chris said.... red hot atty means not enough juice! Simple as that... and if it's a new atty then it alwaya takes longer to "break in" and start vaping at it's best. Keep at it... I've been in your place before and I thought something was wrong with mine too. In the end it was "operator error" and needed to just be "broke in" longer.

Ah yes.... the VP/PT. She does warm up the atty's just a bit more !

Mark me down in the "nic rules" category too please! I started with 36 about 3 weeks ago after being a pack and a half a day Marlboro Light guy. I've got some 18mg samples from Arno, 24, and 36 in the box... but find myself not giving a rat's arse as to cutting back. I usually just get the highest level the vendor has. Hell, I'm just happy to be off analogs at this point! I smoked for 18 years and never thought I'd be where I'm at today. The last thing on my mind is to see how low I can go with the nic level in my juices !!
