  1. That's sweet!! Bet you're a 'happy vaper' now!! I'm still "breaking in" my VP2 and lovin' it as well! I dig this ALL DAY battery lasting thing! Have fun!
  2. Thank you so much... it means more than you realize. We still need these positive prayers, etc. He's still not out of the woods yet.
  3. Thank you all so much for the thoughtfullness!! I knew I could get it here! By the way... we had already been told that he had lymphoma.. just weren't sure what type till the biopsy results came in. WELL.... they came in and he has NO CANCER. He has Histoplasmosis.... a "fungal infection" of the body. He's got Rheumatoid Arthritis really bad and that means no immune system, basically. His body wasn't able to kick this fungal infection and now he will need hardcore treatment. BUT, there is no cancer... and I thank you all for the quick prayers! THANKS AGAIN!
  4. We just found out the my dad has Lymphoma. They took a large node out from under his arm and are determining which type it is so they know how to treat it. We need some thoughts and prayers if anyone is willing! Thanks guys and gals. PEACE.
  5. Have one... they suck. I mean, it works, but as other's have stated.... the connection is the touchy part. You have to get it JUST RIGHT and make dang sure you don't touch it. And even then it can still become detached partially as to not charge the battery. I don't recommend them... but that's just my 2 cents.
  6. Yep, Brian and Nana... I'm with you on the atty choice per unit. That's seems to work out the best for me as well. I've also tried the 801 atty on the VP2 and it's "ok" I suppose. Just not quite as "ok" as the 510.
  7. The VP2 ROCKS! I'm going on hour 6 with the first battery.
  8. Which atty do you prefer on the VP2 Chris?
  9. Damn I love this thing!! A SOLID UNIT. P.S. - For those of you that have one... what's your favorite atty to use on it? I've been using my 510 and it seems "right"... The 801 just seems better on the VPPT.
  10. That happened to me more than once... and it was always the 510 atty's. It doesn't seem to do that with my 801's. The 801's, to me, work better anyway. Just a thought...
  11. Got mine back from the shop yesterday.... that was fast! I THINK it's a new one actually... and I love it. Just gotta remember not to hook it back into my computer at work !!
  12. Maybe they'll send it with my repaired VPPT! That would be sweet!
  13. Oh, it's purple! Maybe you can borrow it.... if you're nice.
  14. THANKS for the info! The more the better....
  15. I just HAD to order me a VP2 today.... hope I likey!
  16. I've been using the same two for a month now and here is what I do. In the evening after I'm done using them I give it a quick "dry burn" before I go to bed. Meaning... I take the mouthpiece off, turn it on and look inside just until the coil starts glowing red. This usually takes 3 to 4 seconds. That tells me all the excess juice is now clear of the atty coil. The same two have lasted me a month... so I must be doing something right. I don't really mess around with actually "cleaning" them, or boiling them... unless I needed too. My method keeps any "gunk" from building up around the coil and hardening up though. Do whatever is working best for you ! Vape on!
  17. I just hope you have better luck with yours then I did mine. Hopefully they've put a bigger transistor in all the new ones going out. Mine is getting repaired for the second time.... and it's a bummer, really.
  18. I won't go there...
  19. I just call mine "the one I used to love" as it is in the shop for the second time.
  20. Me too!
  21. I was GOING to vote for the VP-PT... but I've had such horrible luck I simply can't. It makes me sad too...
  22. I second that! http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=23786&catid=750
  23. I have them for my 801 and 510 also. I use them off and on...
  24. Man, I sure hope they all get fixed pronto... and with the newer/larger transistors!
  25. JUST MY LUCK!!! I get my VPPT back from being "repaired" and use it for 3 or 4 days.... And the SAME THING happens again. The thing won't turn off again now. Very disapointing I must say. I certainly hope this time someone will send me a new unit. Of course .... I have to pay to ship this junk one back AGAIN. How frustrating.
