  1. I'd bet anything that if it still indeed glows red then it's just fine. Like Chris said... if it's glowing red, there isn't enough liquid around the coil.
  2. I am SO like that! My wife doesn't have a CLUE how to load the dishwasher! She could fit twice as much in it if she only put things where they belonged in a nice and orderly fashion!!
  3. But man that thing looks like a royal pain in the azz to operate! I saw ya.... all havin' to use both hands to run that thing! LOL
  4. Yeah, I stood the two types up side by side to see... and it is indeed a tiny bit taller. I just wondered if they "faked" that too as good as they are when it comes to that! I doubt it though huh? I would guess those TrustFires are ok. Another cool thing was... it says on Vaprlife's website, where I got it, that it comes with a couple of 700-800 mAh batteries. He sent 900 mAh's with my order... if that really makes much difference!
  5. All I know is that I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about stealth vaping while at work!! I'd go insane I bet... like I'm 'hittin' a piece' or something... all paranoid and looking over my shoulder! One of the few SMALL percs of being self employed I guess.
  6. You are definatly not alone in your 'mass vaping' rituals. I think that's pretty common in the beginning maybe too. I know I have noticed that I've recently slowed down to "elevated use" instead of "insane use".
  7. I with you 100% on those selections, etc. Seems like the only ones that really work the best are the 302/LB atty's that have a stiffer little rubber washer/seal on the bottom of it. Have you ever noticed that with anything? Which reminds me... I lost my very first 510 atty yesterday... that little rubber ring in there just wore totally out and it wouldn't ever make that connection again. Kinda sucked... that thing was over a month old and was the best one I had! Oh well... they are meant to be "disposable" I suppose.
  8. I'm huffin' some of Awesome Vapor's "Juicy Peach" mixed with about 5ml of their "Mango". Didn't figure it would hurt much to mix those any... and it definately didn't. Those are comin' at me thru my VPPT at 5v. I'm also takin' in some of Juicy Vapor's "Doc Pepper" on the VP2. All of the above 36mg except for the "Doc Pepper"... because 24mg was the highest they had!! I'm another one of those that can't make my mind up so I just vape several at the same time.
  9. Not to mention they are alot cheaper for us to use than the big brown trucks!
  10. I can't recall for the life of me where I ordered them from... but I ordered some pre-stuffed 510 carts that had the PTB in them already... all nice and neat! Go figure... I basically direct drip 100% of the time anyway. But they'll be nice to have for roadtrips I suppose. I thought it was cignot.com... but if it was, they don't have them anymore. Not sure though.
  11. I cut mine about 1/8th of an inch from the vents... still plenty left to stay put. You will still get the juice/moisture up the sidevents unless you do something like I've done. It solved that issue !! And it's alot easier to do than it was to explain... Another EASY tip is this: The 801 attys have a soft/whistle tip option as a mouthpiece... take the white cartridge out and the soft rubber tip then fits perfectly on the 510 atty. Instead of going in it... it goes around it. Works great for me since there are no air vents. I even stuck a small piece of polyfill in the area where the cart used to go. Then I can pull it out and dry it between a papertowel when the need arises... and that's not nearly as often as using a regular 510 cart w/ vents!
  12. What about the TrustFire batteries that I got with my VP2? How do I know if those are the real thing or not? It sure says they are... but now you have me concerned about what the Chinese are doing with stuff. Just curious as to if these are what they say they are.
  13. Thanks Michelle! I just spoke with him on the phone and he's in good spirits. His main problem is this "fungus" was so far along before the caught it, that the lymphnodes in his throat are so enlarged, he's having trouble eating and drinking. And when he tries to eat something it keeps hitting that "gag spot" and he starts dry heaving. Hopefully it will improve over time.....
  14. I've been doing pretty much that exact same thing... except I take a drill, with a bit just bigger than the mouthpiece hole, and drill through it. After removing the tip I take and drill through that little black ring. Once you do, it sticks nicely to the bit and you just pull it out and take it off and set aside for a bit. Then I drill a hole through the part you are knocking completely out, then replace the little black ring thing. After that, I use some pollyfill I have laying around and put a bit in the space you have left after cutting the end of your cart off in the beginning. Then I took some Gorilla Glue and put a drop in each air vent on the sides. I've also messed around with one that I'm trying now and put a little small "wad" in the mouth-end of the atty, right before putting the little tip back on. This kind of works as a "second filter" for the juice to get trapped in. I was getting really tired of having to pull my carts off to do the dry off / tap on towel thing to keep from drinking the juice! So now I basically have a cart with the atty end cut back that has a "filter" in it that I can change whenever I want. And since it only draws through the main hole, and not the side vents, I've yet to get the dreaded juice "load". Those little short 510 attys get so hot that there is just so much moisture building up... your bound to get a mouthfull at some point. But this little mod has REALLY been working well for me. As a matter of fact I did it to 6 more of my carts for future use! I think what gets the best airflow is just having the pollyfill in the atty end of the cart... It was too hard to "drag on" with it in the mouth end too. Or maybe I just had too much in there. Anyway... it's SOOO much better now and I don't have to constantly keep wiping off my carts and blowing them out! Sorry so long... hope it made sense!
  15. Yeah, what he said!
  16. That sounds alot like my VP2 ! Couldn't be happier either !
  17. Agreed. I still say it's just about as fast... or faster, to use standard USPS. That is if you have something of the smaller size to ship to someone.
  18. That's pretty much right... we ship stuff to people and when they ask to pay for faster shipping I ALWAYS tell them that I can't promise it would get there quicker if they did. I'm betting that there is something/somewhere in the fine print that will release them of all responsibility... seems that's pretty common. When we ship our product out, we typically ship it the day I get the order, if it's early enough. Fed-ex gets it to my customer in 3 to 4 days normally... and I've been told it wouldn't get there any faster even if I paid for quicker shippin. Just my .02
  19. Thank you so much... we darn sure still need all we can get. The treatment doesnt sound like it's much easier/better than if he would have had cancer!!
  20. So he's a couple of days into his antifungal treatment... so far, so good. I mean, at least he's not gotten any worse yet. I know I need to not get my hopes up quite so soon too though, as he just started the meds. But all we have been doing around town is praying that we would AT LEAST get some answers so we could start treating whatever it was. It's really been an eyeopening thing for my dad / family... you never realize just how many people honestly care about you until something like this takes place. I have had sooo many people coming in to my office daily to "check in" on him... and it's not necessarily people that we would have ever expected to really care either! Just remember my friends... don't take little things for granted, and be happy for every day we have to spend with our friends and families... because that's all that really matters in the end. PEACE.
  21. Sweet! I figured that's what you were using them on. If only one dud... I guess that's not TOO bad.
  22. Sorry if it's already been talked about.... but what unit are you using them on? The reason I ask is maybe you could try it on a 5v unit at first. Sure seems like the "break in" faster on those than the regular batts. Sorry if this is a worthless suggestion.... I'm not really "with it" today.
  23. And the "TrustFire" Batteries are good too eh??
  24. I hope my VP2 is ok .... but since it's not 5v, I'm not to worry, right??
  25. Sorry... but HIGH NIC RULES! That's just me though.
