  1. They have common sense? LOL.
  2. LOL. Nice timing!
  3. Try putting the mouthpiece back on without putting your thumb or finger over the hole in the end. I was doing this too and it causes there to be noplace for the pressure to escape when pushing it back on. Pinch it with your fingers on the sides and push it on and it wont do it anymore. And this is true with all of them... if your thumb or finger is covering the hole in the end the air cannot escape! It's saved me alot of juice!!
  4. Exactly! I was seriously concerned at first. I was waiting for her to ask me if it was some type of "druggy thing" or something. Especially knowing that in Health class that's what she's learning right now. Hasn't happened though... and I think she was just old enough to understand to concept.
  5. The only problem with those worthless crap strings is that they can fall apart and end up on and around the coil. Then guess what? Yeah, tastes great after a while. And they usually end up fouling the atty coil after a bit. Of course they are all different, etc. but I've just been one of those guys that takes them out. And it's quite easy and I can do it in about 5 minutes by pulling them all out at once. I don't know... I wouldn't recomend anyone to remove them for no reason I guess. But I personally think it makes mine last even longer because I don't get those damn fibers falling apart after time and ending up on the coil. To each their own. PEACE!
  6. See jeffb's gallery pics. He's got them right there.
  7. The center post on it got pushed in too far because of being too tight, etc. You MIGHT be able to take a little tiny eyeglass screwdriver and gently pry it back to flush. Or you may have to use a paperclip and stick through the little hole on the threaded part to get under it and lift it. If not... you can send it in to be fixed. It may have done something beyond what you can do. Hope this helps. I'm sure someone will come tell us just what to do. Also, make sure that you screw the adapter and atty together first... then screw that to the VP2 just till snug.
  8. Yeah, that's been my experience thus far with Arno as well. He doesn't try to pull one over on people. I have a feeling if the ones he's talking about aren't ligit Janty that he would make it right with him.
  9. First thing I did was carefully remove the little stringy fiber wicks... and I was off to the races! It was like I didn't even have a "break in period" on my first one. Hope they are all like that from here on out. Are you a "dripper" or "cartman" ?
  10. I know what you mean... my 11 year old is very "interested" in all my gadgets too. I still am finding myself telling her that it's not a toy so don't get any wise ideas! And that I'm only doing it because smoking is so bad for our health compared to this. But I could see it in her eyes... she was really wanting to know what it tasted like after seeing all my different bottles of fancy juices! Sorry kid. You'll have plenty of years to "experiment" with things. NO, I didn't say that part!!
  11. I'm a big VP2 fan as well. A battery sometimes lasts me all day... depending on how heavy I'm vaping of course. It's a solid unit and built really well. I'm sure the Spade is a nice piece too... I just don't have one... YET.
  12. I'm not quite sure what you mean about an "atty coming apart on you"... but I've not used the Npro before. I'm guessing it's an exposed atty maybe, that uses a cartomizer? Either way, the 510 atty's are fairly easy to use. When you hear it start "gurgling" it's time to take it off and blow through it backwards onto a kleenex. Then re-drip or refill and use a cart. If you aren't "direct dripping" yet, you probably will be before long. Instead of filling up a cart you just remove the fiber filler and drip 2-3 drops directly onto the atty and get several good puffs before you drip again. You'll find what works best for you eventually... this is just what most people end up doing instead of messing around with filling carts and cleaning the filler, etc.
  13. I will promise you won't be disappointed with him then ! I would recommend reading up on different "tips and tricks" to vaping while you wait on your 510's. Mainly, the part about "direct dripping" vs. using carts with filler. I can tell you that you will eventually be direct dripping instead of filling carts and changing the polyfiber. It's just much easier, tastes better, and doesn't take much effort. Everyone is different though when it comes to how they like to use their E-Cigs. Good luck and ask any questions you have... we're here to help.
  14. On a side note.... I personally think a kleenex (without the lotiony crap) works better than a paper towel. Sometimes the paper towels are just to thick and stiff. A kleenex really gets down in the atty better for me. I kind of make it a practice that once I start to hear a "gurgling" sound I take the atty off and use a can of air to blow it out... blow from the threaded end onto a kleenex, then use a rolled up kleenex to get the rest out of the atty. Some people think that the canned air is too strong... but I have YET to foul an atty or anything because of using it. And I've used alot of canned air cleaning atty's!Then you need to add 3 drops directly onto the atty and give it a few puffs and repeat. Then start directs dripping again if that's what you do, or fill and use a cart. If you don't direct drip yet, you will eventually. I quit using carts after about the 3rd day I think. The taste is much better and I don't have to mess around with filling carts or messing with the polyfiber crap! Just some thoughts.
  15. Those will more than likely work just fine as well. Some folks like them as much as the others actually. Just give em a shot and see. He must have got a batch of the "fakes"... all of the ones I ordered from him in the past were the real ones. I've never even gotten a fake to try the difference.
  16. I buy alot of stuff from Arno at Awesome Vapor. His customer service is supreme! You will not have any problems. I second the idea of the 510 starter kit...
  17. That's interesting! But how does it "know" when it needs more juice? Does the bridge dry to a certain point then need more and just take it automatically? It seems like when you pushed the cart on and it touches the bridge, that the juice would continue to run out ? I hope not....
  18. I just got in some Janty gold band 510 atty's. I think I like them better!
  19. I agree. I like the 302's better because they don't have the slits in the threads. It seems to me that those leak more often than the 302's.
  20. Too funny!
  21. My way of thinking is to just keep them as clean as possible while in use, etc. When the thing craps out... it's time for a new one. They are, afterall, "disposable parts" for a reason. If I'm done using one for a while I typically blow as much juice out of it that I can onto a kleenex... then dip a Q-tip in alcohol and clean around the threaded end of it to remove any excess juice. Store upside down until next use if you want. An average 510 atty lasts me roughly 3 to 5 weeks.
  22. Don't forget that all atty's have a "break in period"... and it can be different for each and every one of them. Some may take several hours... and others may take several days. You just need to keep at it for a good while and get them "broke in" good. Good luck!
  23. My bad! I just was trying to figure out the whole backup batteries, etc. Didn't realize it was because of the size... Thanks for the clarification!
  24. You know... eventually you are going to have spent enuf on all these "backups" that you could have just bought a VP2 like I finally did! One battery lasts me all day long! Nah, I'm just givin' ya a hard time... you know that!
  25. I remove the fibers from all of my 510 atty's... and I couldn't be happier! But I only direct drip also... they might not work as well if I tried using a cart. I don't see that happening anyway.
