I, like you, was strictly a 510 and 801 user for quite some time. And now that I ordered some 901's... I'm a changed man! I love those things... for me, they are perfect at 5v on the VPPT and still great on my eGo/Tornado! I didn't know what I was missing until I gave them a try... you should too if you haven't already.

I know this much... I wish I wouldn't have waited as long as I had to try out the 901 atty's. They are my favorite... by far, now. They are the perfect mix of warm vapor from a 510, and good flavor from an 801... at 5 volts.

I too, prefer the DSE 901 at 5 volts. MUCH better flavor, etc. in my opinion. I RARELY have any problem with any leakage either. I just think that the 510 gets too hot and ruins it for me. I would have to say I prefer the 901, then 801, and lastly... the 510, at 5 volts.

My .02 --- I too make my living selling a product. I have also dealt with that customer that could NEVER be pleased... no matter how far I bent over backwards for them. I also don't think that this is the place to complain about how a customer was behaving... even if it's not right! Don't get me wrong here either... his warranty period was over. Simple as that. But I still don't think that this is the correct way to handle the problem. It should only have been between the customer and the seller... not a public viewing. After all... no matter what you are in the business of selling... if you are dealing with people, you will always have the ones that are unpleasant to deal with... that, my friends, is part of the business you are in. It was in situations like this that I have wished that the best way would have been to take it in the a%$ and make the ******* customer happy.... as painful as it would have been. Word spreads too quickly these days, and that isn't always the best thing for my business.

I wish!! It's more like... "we vape, hang out.... and GET BANNED OUR SUPPLIES!"

Did you have to do any adjustment to the length of the straw in yours? I ordered some today... so I hope I like them.

Isn't that the truth? I found out the hard way so I started using a syringe. NO MORE JUICE!

I will say this about the two: The 901 seems to work much better in all aspects with the VPPT at 5 volts vs. the 510. Yes, the 510 does get warmer, but that isn't the most important thing to my needs. For me, the flavor is what I'm looking for... and I get that the best with the 901 at 5v. A close second will be the 510 at 3.7 on my VP2. Just my .02

I agree... I think I will continue dripping for the time being. The vapor prod. just wasn't there for me... nor was the flavor. Maybe it was a poorly performing carto? I've only tried one so far... so I'll have to see if the other 9 are any better!

Looks like all they've done is convert a "dugout" to a PV. That's exactly what that WAS I will bet you anything! That's not to say they aren't sweet looking though!! Yes, a better designed atty would be soooo nice. It gets kinda old carrying around a tissue to wipe off the leakin' little drops before it gunks up your battery, etc.!!!

I thought the only "true" flat whistle tips are the 801's? So, I just work one on/around the 510 atty. And it really does work great. That's only if I'm not using my new "direct dripping pen grippers". LOL.

I also use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and distilled water to clean my atty's when they get to needing it. Otherwise, I just do nothing.

Man... you know what I really like lately? I love the soft rubber whistle tips that come on 801's... Those things fit great OVER a 510 atty and work excellent for you if you direct drip.

I know it's been said here before... but I really like using the flat tip / soft rubber 801's with the 510 atty. They obviously go on the outside of the atty... but work great. The latest thing I've discovered is taking apart one of those writing pens with the rubber grip. Making sure I get the right size, I just cut to desired length and put in on the atty. Then I can direct drip all day.. you can cut them as long or short as you want too. Works really nice. Just a heads up though... your wife may come find you a wonder why the hell her pens are missing the grippers!!

I'm starting to think our entire family may need a support group before this is over. Anyway, they go to the 'infectious disease' doctor today... they are going to switch him from the oral meds to the IV treatment. This may mean that he is admitted to a hospital because of how closely that will have to monitor his liver and kidneys, etc. It's basically the last line of defense with the Histoplasmosis. I will keep you all informed... you're all I've got besides my family that will lend an ear. Thanks again my friends.

I noticed that as well... I bet its because the drops flood the coil until some of it is burnt away. Maybe try one less drop now that its going directly onto the coil?

Sorry to bring this up again... but its been a real struggle so far. And I dont think we are even close yet. I just hate seeing my dad only able to sit at home and be fed thru a tube in his stomach... it just kills me. Ever since I can remember he's been super active... he and my mom are both about 64 and look and act like 40's. I mean they would put 15k miles a year on their Harley like it was nothing.... run a construction company at the same time, and still be the best parents ever! And now this?? He may never be able to do the things he loves again. He's worked his *** off all his life getting the things he's got... I just pray he can retire and enjoy life. He is starting to worry us mentally now because of not seeing improvent for 3 months. But all we can do is keep telling him to fight it... cuz hes one tough sonofabitch.... Ive seen him do alot in his life the shocked me. So.... keep praying that he doesn't give up on this battle. And thank you so much for caring about a man my age (35 and total stranger) that feels like hes losing his best friend and dad.

I got some of these the other day as well... and I REALLY like them alot. They are totally sealed so no juice goes through to the battery. At the rediculously small amount that I might be "injesting" I'm not too worried about it. You may be right though... but I bet it's not as bad as smoking analogs... I just don't think it's something to worry about. I mean.... I'm not huffing the stuff.
