  1. I have been using different rubber "drip tips". I use the finger grips at the end of different pens. There are so many to choose from and they work like a CHAMP! I have different T-tips, but it doesn't really allow me to drip straight to the atty. I always get it stuck inside the mouthpiece! Since I've switched I not had any problems... and they feel GREAT in the lips. I just have a trashcan full of wasted pen parts now... but it was well worth it!
  2. Man, I can't imagine doing any of the e-cig "tinkering" that I do without being able to see!! HOW in the hell would any of this be possible... I mean really? Not saying that a visually imapaired person couldn't figure it out. But, keep in mind she's a senior citizen as well. I don't know... I just think there is too much involved personally. Maybe if she has someone helping her, etc. it would be doable.
  3. I recently got my Tornado from Totally Wicked... I just bought a battery, cone, and charger to make sure I like it. And I definately DO like this bad boy! It's a beast with the LR atty's too! Doesn't get much better... and it's such a piece of art and pleasing to the eye. I suppose I will be buying myself another battery or two for it now... although when I charge my one and only I just grab one of the other countless PV's I seem to have laying around! Sad really.
  4. I feel your pain my friend!!
  5. I take the "threads" out of all of mine before I even start using them... and I have lost like 3 atty's over the 4-5 months I've been vaping! I think that those fibers will eventually get all burnt and nasty, fall down around the coil, and actually aid in a premature death! I don't know... but I'm with you ROOR, especially since I drip anyway. Might be a different story if I was a cart guy I suppose. The serve absolutely no purpose for me and direct dripping. And I feel like they cause more harm than good in the overall lifespan. To each their own though.
  6. HEY! You must have read my post about this huh ? The pen grips work great though don't they??
  7. Just wanted to add that I had some similair issues with mine and discovered that the problem was actually in the spring/cap end of the unit. I messed around a bit with the spring, etc. and found that it wasn't making the right contact for some reason. After some playing around I have solved the issue and it's working great still. Just be really carefull you don't snug your atty down on it too tight. Just barely tighten it so you don't jack up that center post!
  8. I really like my Tornado/eGo and my VP2.
  9. This is exactly why I do a short "dry burn" when I'm done with an atty, or if it's getting gunk built up. I know many folks here will disagree with me on this theory... but I honestly feel like if it shortened their lifespan, then I would probably have lost more than 2-3 atty's over a 6 month period. I'm just going to keep on doing what works for me... and that's just doing the dry burn every so often as I feel necessary.
  10. I'm with you on that... I honestly don't think that there would be any residule left to cause any damage. With a thourough rinsing, and maybe even a little force air, I bet it would be safe. I will report my findings... if I ever decide to clean my atty's. For now, since they last me forever anyway, I will stick with my "throw away when they die" method. I've only lost 2 atty's since I started vaping... and that has been around 5 or 6 months!
  11. My "go to" vape: VT GRAPE SODA !
  12. It's rediculous... wait until you start up the "mod collection" !! It's all over from there on out my friend! I've not been doing this for more than 4 or 5 months I suppose... and I've bought a 510, an 801, a 901, a VP-PT, a VP2, a Totally Wicked Tornado, a 5v 'Stomp Box', not to mention the 50+ atty's, cartomizers, countless juices, carts mods, drip tips, adapters, etc. There is good reason I don't keep all of my receipts! I don't want to know what I've spent... but it sure is easy to throw it on the good ol credit card! So, don't say we didn't warn ya!
  13. Nice work! I didn't take time to do that... I will probably stick to my foolproof method anyway... NOT CLEANING THEM!
  14. Check this stuff out! http://www.e-cigreview.com/distribution/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=417
  15. And you guys are one of my favorite suppliers to date! Keep up the fabulous work!
  16. I know, weren't those crazy?? I had never heard of this stuff before... and I bet those popcorn machines are something else to clean! I just can't imagine what is in the cleaner itself that isn't some sort of harsh cleaning chemical! I just wonder what it is in fact made of to cut that sort of crud.
  17. Good Lord isn't that the truth!! I counted 50-some atty's in my supply box the other night... not to mention the rediculous amounts of juices and other items! It's pretty rediculous what I've bought/spent on this new found "hobby" of mine. But I still figure I'm much better off than what I was doing before! I'm fairly certain that a few vendors recognize my name when I place an order with them... again.
  18. I agree... and Jeffrey and Laurin and great folks too by the way!!
  19. Have you guys seen this before? I'm sure some of you have... but I just thought I would see if anyone here has tried it yet. I'm not big into even cleaning my attys, too lazy I guess. But it is interesting to say the least... and sounds like it should work. http://www.e-cigreview.com/distribution/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=417
  20. I have heard that there has been alot of differences from one BE112 atty to the next.... where some would work on an adapter and some flat would not, no matter what tinkerin' people did with them. I read somewhere that they are making the efforts to get them fixed so they are all good. Hopefully someone else knows the scoop on these for us. Here was where I read that: http://www.vapersforum.com/archive/index.php/t-447.html
  21. Hey look! Another reason to keep em smokin'!! We can start "protecting those pipes, man!" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37130972/ns/technology_and_science-innovation/?gt1=43001
  22. I thought it lacked greatly in the flavor department... as did the Waffle juice. Glad somebody like their liquids.
  23. I've had no problems with my Tornado battery from Totally Wicked. Fast shipping as well!
