You are right... new Tornado battery and a low res atty is the bomb. Glad they don't drop off alot until the end. I still want a true 5v device though... maybe the Buzz?

So my Tornado with a LR 510 atty is almost there... POWER: 9.126666666666667 VOLTAGE: 3.7 CURRENT: 2.466666666666667 RESISTANCE: 1.5 That's assuming my Tornado is truely 3.7 volts. I guess I really need to get a multimeter darnit! Thanks for the link by the way.

I know I would certainly like to hear what you think of it after you get it. That thing looks pretty sweet and seems to be quite versatile.

You nailed it... that's what I really like about doing this. You always know how much juice you have in your atty. You don't have to wonder now if it's too dry, etc. And, yes, it is VERY easy to do. I just slap on my trusty head lamp and go at it.

I also do this to nearly every single atty I get... even my LR attys. I have a few that are still unmolested in my collection though. Truely are "dripping machines" once you do this. I love it.

Good! That's the type of stuff I like to know/learn! Thanks! I've tried them on my Tornado, my brokedown VP2, and regular batts. I never shoulda got started with em on the 5 volt units... now nothing compares to them!

I think I will start off fresh with it first thing in the morning and see how it goes. It must have been like 80% charged right off though.... light turned from red to green in about 30 minutes... and that wasn't the "quick/usb charger" either. Can't wait to see how it holds up because I'm LOVING the extra length of it when it's in hand.

I dunno.... Im using a LR801 on the VPPT (out of the laptop). Pretty decent I must say. LOL!

I'm kinda surprised that you say it works well with cartos. I've not had much luck with cartos and ANY 3.7v device. They don't "use up the juice" like they should and do at 5v. Interesting that it works well with them... that's great to hear.

And I must say it is now at the TOP of my favorites list!

I can't comment on battery life of my new MEGA TORNADIC BEAST... but I can assure you that I will be in love with it and a LR 510 atty. All day... and in to the next probably. Prolly doesn't help much here... but I just wanted to add what I could. I would prolly get as much stuff as I could if I were in your shoes and still collecting backups for the backups. LOL.

I just slapped that 1000 mah BEAST on the charger... so we'll see how she compares to the standard ones. One thing I can say right now is that I honestly like the feel of it in my hand BETTER since it's a tad longer. It just feels like it fits my hand better... but I have rediculously long fingers... so that may be why. More to follow. Oh yeah... and the VT COLA is great from what Ive vaped so far and with only a LR 510.

The problem with using the eGo is that it's just 3.7 volts... therefore not "vaporizing" all the juice as well as using a 5v device, imho. But, my Tornado/eGo is great for EVERYTHING else I need, that's for sure. Can't wait to try my 1000 mah battery that's on the way. I'm using a carto right now on my VPPT and it works good, etc. I still don't find that it lasts THAT long though. I will say this though... flavor is alot better with cartos!

I bet you're right... probably from years of smoking and the loss of taste. I never feel like most liquids are strong enough really. Hopefully that will get better over time.

I should be getting mine in the mail tomorrow. So we will soon see!

Wouldn't ya know... I love mine... but this evening I noticed the atty conector starting to get a bit loose on it. So I'm in the process of putting new silicone around it. Should fix me up... I hope. Still a decent product for the money.
