I'd give direct dripping a shot like others have stated... it sounds like you might be getting the nasty taste of burnt cart filler.
-
Yep, sounds like you are adding too much liquid. Vape what you drip each time... so get it good and cleared like FTJoe said and start over. Then if you drip 2 or 3 drops, vape it till its time for more. I think you are flooding them.
-
Stupid question... have you tried multiple attys by chance?? Do you direct drip or use carts?
-
THE BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ !! Sorry, what was the question?
-
For me... I've found that the older I get, the less and less I like the heat. I can dress to stay warm... but one can only shed so many pieces of clothing to stay cool! Summer sucks!
-
Negative.... I was replying to FTJoe. Sorry.
-
I LOL'd.

Hey, that's a good idea! I'll check em out. Let me just say... this BUZZ is f'n awesome! (like I havn't already said that) You know how sweet it is with other PV's when you have that freshly charged battery and you take those first few drags? It's so nice to get that EVERY SINGLE TIME I take a puff!! I didn't know what I had been missin'! I can't imagine why there aren't more devices out there that have the same technology so that it remains consistant through the battery life! I can't imagine dealing with one now, that as I use it, it just gets weaker and weaker each time. NO THANKS! This is one great device!

Correct... they are KR808's... same threads as a 901. My bad... I shoulda said something to you too I guess. You have adapters I'm sure though, yeah?

Oh my... I couldn't be happier than I am right now! I've been using nothing but V4L's cartos on my BUZZARD and have wanted to try something else. So, I grabbed a 901 atty from home and slapped on a drip tip. Man this thing is f'n great at 4.6 volts!! So far, I've set it right there and left it, and have been very pleased with the performance. I'm sure I'll be making some changes before long when I need to do so. But for now... it's 4.6 for me! "SET IT... AND FORGET IT!" OK... I actually thought of something I would like to have seen. Jeez, I didn't think I was ever going to think of anything! There is a hole on the side of it to access the tiny little voltage adjustment screw. I wish there would have been something like a rubber "plug" or something to cap it off when not in use. This way I wouldn't worry about getting any dirt or debris in it. SO... what I did was cut a little square of black electrical tape... just larger than the hole... and covered it up! Works great and you can barely see it since mine is black anyway. Now I need to think of something a little more permanant to replace it though. Help me out VT peeps!! Any suggestions out there?? The hole is 3/16th's of an inch across.

Say what?? Mine doesn't roll at all hardly. It definately hits/stops at the button.

FYI: The Premium Cartos from Vapor4Life on the Buzz at 4.5 - 5 volts is a PERFECT VAPE! I saw GrimmGreen do a video on these cartos and they really rocked. So I bought some to try and they are really much better than standard 510 cartos. They run at about 2.7 ohms resistance... making them get hotter and simply work better! Check these out if you haven't got any cartos yet... they are KR808's, which will work with a 901 adapter if you need. http://store.vapor4life.com/Vapor_King_Premium_Blank_Cartomizers_p/pvk-blanks.htm By the way... they are like 25% off during Father's Day...

I like the button... its really small, so I don't think you will need to worry about accidental firings. Plus, it doesn't leave an indentation in your thumb after a day of vaping. I've never seen a button like it before... and don't know what to compare it to... but it's definately a good/solid button. It has a soft "click" pressing and letting go of it. What else can you say about it Burn?? I'm sure he will have some input too.
-
I can assure you... you will NOT be disappointed with that purchase!! Trust us on this one. The flexibility of this unit is just amazing! I mean, you can really fine tune this thing to each atty setup you use.
-
Man, I hate those bottles!
-
Good to know. I'm a "clean vaper"... always makin' sure not to get juice anywhere it's not supposed to be! I don't think we have much to worry about. I know I'm certainly a might happy camper right now with this baby!
-
WHAT?? I thought a cart = 1 pack of smokes??
-
I'm perfectly happy with it so far at 4.5V using the Premium Cartos from V4L. They are lower resistance than the standard 510 cartos.... and they are awesome! You should check em out if you haven't yet: http://store.vapor4life.com/Vapor_King_Premium_Blank_Cartomizers_p/pvk-blanks.htm

So she's sealed off then huh? Sweet. Glad to know that for sure... I noticed on the website it said "optional o-ring" though. So I was just wondering why it was "optional" and not just standard. Either way... I don't think it's something to worry about really. Yeah, I'm liking this thing more and more the longer I use it!! Have you been playing with adjusting the voltage yet? I haven't even touched it... as I am really liking it at 4.5 volts for now. I'm sure once I start using a different atty I will do some tweaking on it. Man, this thing is sweet... I was sitting there lastnight looking at all my Tornado batteries, VP2, etc. and wondering how long it would be before I used them again! I should be doing like you and trying to sell those items and getting another BUZZ for backup.

As FTJoe will say... Throat hit is directly affected by the level of nicotine. I agree 100% on that! I started with 36mg and it was wrecking my throat! I'm at 16-18 now... much different/better throat hit... not nearly as harsh. I don't wake up with a sore throat after a hard night of vaping! So, maybe try dropping the nic level if you wanted.

It's like some thin piece of plastic material or something. I actually had to trim some little pieces off of mine that didn't get cut off good. It looks like some type of plastic that was put on like a washer would be. I don't know... I don't want to take any chances that it's sealed off tight though. Here's another thing I did lastnight: I ended up taking one of the little short chrome adapters(801to901)lastnight and filling the little hole that runs through it with some sealer. That way it won't leak straight through and ruin something. I'm using it with the KR Cartos and it works great... not a drop of anything. I used to get juice running through the hole and onto the atty connector. Obviously it can still run out the sides where the atty and adapter meet... but I can catch that alot easier and take care of it.

I had to send my VPPT off in the beginning... but it's been just fine ever since. I love that thing. BUT... my latest new "love" is this bad boy: http://www.notcigs.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=17&category_id=7&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 This is one bad mofo with the 'variable voltage' to adjust it to any voltage you want! I don't know of another PV that does this... but I may be wrong. It may seem a little pricey... but just think of what you are getting for the money! Instead of having to buy multiple e-cigs for multiple voltages... you buy a BUZZ and have ANY voltage you want! Case closed for me... I'm in vaping heaven.

Speaking of that screw... can someone tell me what is under the head of it that is black? Is this some type of "seal" or something now? FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I can't even begin to tell you all how much I love this baby!! Yes, it's not the cute and fancy PV that you might see out there... but that is EASILY overlooked when it comes to the performance! It's not ugly by any means... but it's just a regular tube mod from the outside. It feels really good in my hand and wasn't as big as I was thinking it was going to be. It's definately a SOLID unit that I wouldn't be afraid to rough up a bit. I've been rockin' the Premium Cartos that I had picked up from V4L... I'm at the preset 4.5V, and I must say... I'm very pleased! It's a perfect vape/temp for me with those cartos. I have yet to even try anything else as I've only had it since lastnight. Anyway.. I'm not even going to try to compare to the OTHER review around here... I can't compete with that! Let me just say: I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH MY PURCHASE! WILL NOT BE LOOKING AT ANYTHING ELSE FOR A LONG WHILE... THERE'S NO NEED!!!
-
Yep... that is the best way to make sure you have it full. Leave the condom on the bottem of it and shake it several times... then I can usually put quite a bit more in mine.
