Who Makes The Best Lr 510 Atty?
DAYVAPE replied to Schizophretard's topic in General Vaping Discussion
And see... I'm a "carto convert" to the point that I don't even drip when I'm home chillin'. For me, with cartos, I can fill a couple up with different juices and be good to go. I like them because I don't ever have to worry about getting that NASTY/METALLIC taste from being out of juice! With a carto, I can vape away for a while, then once I start to notice it getting weaker I just top em off again. They don't just go dry on you like a regular atty can. I just got sick of dripping every 4 or 5 drags from a regular atty! I don't know... everyone is different... but I really like the flavor/vapor/throat hit that cartos give me. The only negative I would say is that you really need a device with variable voltage or a HV mod. They perform so much better for me at 4.5 volts and higher vs. a 3.7 volt device! I know I wouldn't be happy if all I had was a 3.7 volt battery to use cartos on... it just isn't there with the lower volts. I prefer 4 - 4.5 volts... otherwise the 5 and 6 volt mods tend to burn up the juice and then you have to let more soak in to the element before you can vape again. Not so much at 4ish volts for me. Give em a shot if you have anything higher than 3.7 volts laying around. -
The only problem I see doing it that way is once the ONE battery runs out... you have to sit around while it's charging... vaporless! That's where battery #2 comes in really handy... you can always have one charged and ready to rock!

DRIP TIPS! I am pretty sure these are the ones I'm thinking of... they have about the largest opening in them that I've seen to date. Hopefully FTJoe can tell us for sure... I think he might have some of these. I'm fixin' to order a couple more of the delrin ones... I like those the most.

Various drip tips on my cartos. Not a fan of hot lips either!!

My bet is if you got an ego/Tornado... you would use it all of the time. They really are one of the nicer PV's out there I think. I do think the quick charger is well worth the small cost... like half the time to charge batts.

The main reason I now use cartos almost always...

Two DOA's sounds strange...

Do You Still Buy A Pack Of Analogs Now And Then?
DAYVAPE replied to YayForBeer's topic in General Vaping Discussion

When Did You Realize That Vaping Was For You?
DAYVAPE replied to Kodiak's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I too was in that exact same boat! -
Where does the atty go on that one??
-
A drill and bit fixed that for me... Man, I hate paying $20 for a drip tip! Ain't that crazy?!? And I think about the only way we're going to get something with a big enough hole, that we can easily drip in and not get juiced, is to use a rubber pen grip. I have several of those that work really well and mighty cheap too. But it's almost too big of a hole then! I think I'll just stick with the twisted tips for now.
-
All sorts of them here... and super fast shipping. I personally prefer the "twisted tips" for there colorful beauty! http://shop.nhaler.com/Drip-Tips_c36.htm

Of course... the highlighted items you don't have to buy each and every time, correct?? So, really they are about $10 once you have the other stuff on hand... correct me if I'm wrong please.
-
I don't know about "I just charge it overnight... and it works all day." I would beg to differ there! LOL.
-
Yes, they tend to run around 2.3 - 2.5
-
I would tend to agree... I only use cartos at 4.5 volts or higher... where they really start performing great. They don't really put out very well at 3.7 volts, IMHO.
-
At 70 cents a pack I'd have a hard time quiting too!! Hopefully some will come along and answer all you questions... alot of the answers can be found here on the forum if you do some hunting.
-
And don't you warranty them for 6 months??
-
How's come the pic is upside down?

Bummer... I have one of these... but like you said they are out of stock at the moment. Dang, Nhaler seems to be out of his 5v boxes as well! http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=7&Itemid=1

I'g go eGo/Tornado if it were me... have 2 fully charged batts that will certainly get you through a long day!

That's right... V4L's are 901 cartos. I like them ok... but I keep finding myself back using regular 510 cartos. Just haven't perfected them yet...
