  1. Yeah, I would hate for you to know how good it really can be at other than 3.7 with LR cartos/attys. It's just not even close to as good for me... I think a main reason being I never liked any LR cartos I tried before I went VV. LR vaping just isn't really the same as HV w/ standard cartos. I know they say it's supposed to be close to it... but not for this cat!
  2. I guess I would have to say the DSE 801 did the least for me as an e-cig. That's not to say the penstyle atty doesn't do well at higher voltages though. The 801 atty just needs a bit more than 3.7 in my opinion.
  3. Don't kid yourself... it really is freakin' handy! I'm diggin' it...
  4. I don't know... that may be quite a feat don't ya think? LOL.
  5. You asked for a link where to buy... and I already did that. Nevermind....
  6. As far as I'm concerned you are a NOBODY unless you have this in your "stash": CLICK ME! I have found that I really do enjoy this bad boy... even though it may come across to some of you as comical. With it, I find that my mods are all of the sudden not so "in my face" all the time, etc. Not only that, I can vape in my recliner or laying on the couch w/o even getting up off of my lazy to do so! It has simply become an every day piece of vaping equipment that I use while I'm at home. That's correct... I don't go venturing out into public with it as of yet, nor have I tried it while driving, but it is in full-time use as I'm vaping at home!! If you have an extra $20 bill... go and get yourself one and enjoy it like I have been!! I just wanted to share with everyone my new favorite/inexpensive toy!
  7. And hey... you could even save some money by getting a "Purple Blemished BUZZ" !! From what I understand they aren't all that "blemished"... sounds like they are fairly small imperfections in the tube.
  8. Uh yeah... these are meant to be tossed and replaced... you know, disposable? LOL. I know what ya mean though... the best luck I've had was givin' em a helluva Tarin Spin! That usually works pretty darn good... well enough I can usually get a couple more fills out of them. Nothing beats a brand new carto though!!!
  9. Yeah... it's nice to know just right where you are though. That way you have a good knowledge of your sweet spot... then tweak up or down if need be. What is it... about .2 per turn I think I read, right? I don't have to change it much now... I have it at 4.6 and I will adjust up slightly if need be. It's really not that difficult to just vape it where your happy! And not even LR cartos/attys will cut it for me anymore... like you said, it's close... but just not the same.
  10. Or skip all the mumbo jumbo and get you some cartomizers. LOL.
  11. In the somewhat short time I used my eGo I never could tell a darn difference with the cone on or off. That's strange that everyone else can tell an obvious difference. Oh well....
  12. Oh I totally agree... I've been lucky thus far to not have needed to touch a single 510 battery due to malfunction of my main device! I'm sure I would be even more happy they are in there if I honestly needed a backup in a pinch. What sucks is it's just really hard to digress to 3.7 after you've been used to HV vaping for so long. Heck, I thought something was wrong with with my eGo when I tried vaping a 510 carto on it... it had been too long since the 3.7 for me.
  13. Do you have a multi-meter??
  14. See... you have finally "seen the light" !! I got yelled at once for just telling someone not to waste their money buying one of those little "cigerette looking e-cigs"... but I guess everyone has to do whatever they feel is best for them. They eventually come around and graduate to what most of us now use. In the end, a mod is the only way to go to finally hit that SWEET SPOT in vaping, 4.5 volts and a carto! LOL.
  15. I guess I should have said that I take my drip tip off when I top it off. And then I make sure it runs down the side and not through the hole. And one more thing I do is use one of those 1" adapters that doesn't have a hole going clear through it... so no worries about it leaking out and all over the place. I love those little black adapters! ADAPTER I have rec'd a couple that had holes all the way through... but most of them don't.
  16. Excellent! I don't ever see myself buying another atty after using cartos with mine!
  17. EXACTLY!! Keeps em nice and wet like they like to be... I use a syringe for the first fill. Then drip to keep topped off.
  18. I highly recommend you try the cartos at 4.5 volts... doesn't get much better.
  19. This was the only other one I had seen.... at the top you can select what type of mod. http://www.ecigarette-mods.com/battery_tube_mods.html
  20. Yep... Higher voltage. I never did like cartos at 3.7 They are champs at 5 volts though...
  21. You'll love it!
  22. He got some good vapor for such a small "toot" !!
  23. For now... regular cartos @ anything higher than 3.7v is still the way to go, IMO. Just gotta remember to keep em wet! Don't try to vape them till they are almost gone... it's never a good thing to do as you will surely end up with that nasty/burnt taste! I find the best way to treat a carto is by dripping in them like an atty. Every 10 or so drags... I add more juice. It's really that simple. Then they provide excellent flavor/vapor, etc.
