Just the paperclip... and you can do it from both ends of your carto and wiggle it around to fluff and re-canter the filler material. I have one handy at all times because cartos do tend to get a tighter draw as time goes on. This really takes care of that issue and also help to allow the filler to soak up more juice!

This is a tough call for me.... but I'm going to go ahead and say CARTOS! I actually kinda treat my cartos as I would direct dripping on an atty. Meaning... after a vape on a full carto for about 10 - 15 drags I'm usually good to go and don't need another vape for a while. But when that next vape session arrives I pop the drip tip off of and run some liquid down the sides of the carto until no more will soak in... typically about 6 - 8 drops or so. Then I'm ready to hit that thing again for another 10 - 15 drags... which is close to what it took me to smoke an analog back in the day. Overall, they work great for me and I love the flavor from them... also nice to know I won't ever get that lovely burnt atty taste when I'm vaping! I've not seen a carto yet that you can fill up and have it last longer than a couple hours max. Just keep em wet and you will stay satisfied! Wow, that was a book!! Oh yeah... and I will never buy another atty in my lifetime! NEVER.

Isn't is something crazy like 1 in 3 women will have it in some form... or something like that? I know it's crazy high whatever it was....

I have one and I love mine. Otherwise there are a bunch of 5v mods out there for sale. If you want cheap you could always just get him a 5v boxmod. His prices are much less than other places on the internet too.

Sure you can... take you a large paperclip and bend out the long end of it. Then just stick it down in the hole from the top side of the carto and wiggle it back and forth. Trust me... you can really get rough when doing this and it loosens the filler up and allows for airflow again! I do this daily... and cartos are all I use. I've figured out a lot of little tricks like this that just prolong the use of them a lot. Try it... you will be a happy vaper again!

If you were using LR cartos that were the gold threads... they suck/leak like crazy! They are horrible if you ask me. I don't have any reason to try another LR carto though since I have a variable voltage device... just crank it up to fit the standard 510 carto and nothing else is needed!

Yeah well I like to support the small mom and pops businesses... because I know what it's like to try to keep a business running these days. You go right ahead and buy from China... I don't care one bit.

Ya know... I didn't think I would either... but I use that thing all the time at home! I use cartos as you know... and it's really nice to be able to fling it from side to side while vaping. I'm diggin' it because now whatever mod I'm using... its not right up in my face... and that really is kinda nice! You all can make fun of it... but you don't know what you're missin'! LOL.

Were you "direct inhaling" at first?

The eGo/Tornado is all fine and good... but you might want to think of using some low res/medium res cartos with it. I never did like the vapor, etc. I got with 3.7 volts. Especially if your dad isn't too patient and smoked full flavor smokes! Someone will point you in the direction of the different cartos. I highly recommend them for ease of use when vaping. The main thing is just matching the correct carto to the voltage you are going to be using.

This is another great advantage to using cartos all the time for me... It never gets dry enough to give you the dreaded burnt flavoring!
