And I couldn't agree more about the quality of the Boge cartos... I have yet to come across one that was bad either! That's pretty amazing considering how cheap they are!
-
Yes! I forget who makes them w/o looking it up... but I've got some and they just don't perform as well as the silver threaded ones. Not to mention the fact that they leak like crazy! Yeah, don't bother getting those.
-
And do yourself a favor and buy the silver threaded cartos if you buy any at all. The gold ones leak alot and geenerally suck.

I don't think it's very cool to get someone addicted to anything... even if it is low nic in vaping! Like Birdog said... there are many things out there she could do to relieve stress, etc. It doesn't necessarily need to start up a new addiction to nicotine! Now on the other hand... I don't see any problem in letting her start vaping 0 nic juice... if that was all she was going to vape. That wouldn't really bother me at all then. -
From what I hear Bobas Bounty, from Alien Visions, is a pretty darn good vape! Mine should be here any day now so I will find out what all the hype is soon. There are some that vape it all day every day.
-
Isn't that just so... how it is? Once you've stepped into the variable voltage realm there really isn't much need for anything else... unless you just get bored using one device... and I'm sure I will find that is an issue with myself very soon!
-
I think the main advantage is that you get to use a brand new atty alot more often because you will be burning through them alot faster!

Best Atomizer To Use With 6 Volt Devices
DAYVAPE replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Well yeah, everyone can and will do whatever they want. But if you are one of the few 6 volt users... just be prepared to be buying new attys and cartos much more often. You would surely agree with me on that now wouldn't you?? It's just funny seeing people on here trying to stretch an atty or carto WAY beyond what it was intended for just to save some money... but yet they are vaping at 6 volts all the time. My fist response would be to try another voltage so you don't burn through stuff so fast! -
I have never and will never boil a carto. These are the two things I do to keep my cato going strong: If you have a method to "spin" the juice out of one, do that when your juice starts to look brown inside, and then refill with fresh. Another thing is to use a paperclip with the long end bent out... poke it through the center hole inside and wiggle it back and forth all different ways to "fluff" the filler. You also need to make certain there is a path for good airflow again after you've done this.... you should be able to hold it up and see light through it. If you can't see through it, you will only burn the filler or juice, and thats no good. It's also a good idea to have that paperclip handy with you after you've filled it and are using it. Often times the draw will start to get harder because of juice clogging it... just use that paperclip again to clear it out and open it for better flow. So... 'spinning' and 'fluffing' are probably the two most important things you can do to lengthen the life of your carto.

Is it hard to take a draw off of? I'm just wondering because if you can't see through the carto then you need to take a paperclip and poke through the hole in the center and make sure it's cleared. Gotta have good air flow or it will just burn juice/filler up ! -
Ah yes... the "mint-acular" is revealed!
-
Where have you been?? I have a "contraption" you could say... that I hook my carto too by the threaded end, put a carto condom half way on the other end, and swing it around. This literally fills the condom with juice from the carto and I'm ready to refill with whatever. This also helps to "fluff" back some of the filler material. And then I grab the trusty paperclip w/ the end bent out and run it through the hole of the carto, wiggle back and forth, and make sure there is a clear path for air. That is key... you should be able to see completely through a carto before you use it. People toss alot of cartos thinking they are clogged but I they need to do is poke something thru the carto and clear a path!
-
I can't wait to try it!!

He certainly sounds like a stud!
-
Hey... a paperclip! Thats a great idea right there!
-
I've been using it forever... and it hasn't killed me yet! Nor have I ever even had a headache or anything out of the ordinary. It works too well for me to not use it... I will continue to press my luck.
-
Yeah, I won't use VG in a carto... not gonna happen!
-
Do you have a reaction to PG ? Or do you actually like vaping that thick ol VG? Just curious because I sure don't have very good luck with VG juice when it comes to trying to vape it out of a carto... to thick to keep things wet enough. This is a great thread idea though.... I would love to see some results too!

Best Atomizer To Use With 6 Volt Devices
DAYVAPE replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in General Vaping Discussion
6 volts is just madness ! I don't understand why anyone would want to vape at 6 volts knowing they are going to go thru attys/cartos much faster. I mean, it can't be that great or alot more people would be doing it! That's just crazy if you ask me! I wonder at what point people will just accept the fact that it's not going to get any better going another volt higher! LOL -
Evidently she wasn't around back when those were going on... because it would have been hard to not see it at some point!

Is 100% Vg Killing My E-Cig Experience?
DAYVAPE replied to upStomp's topic in General Vaping Discussion
For me... I always go for the least amount of VG I can, or all PG. I use cartos full time so I'm much better off using the thinnest PG based liquids so they soak in and keep up with my vaping. I've had to use VG based juice before in my cartos and I really have to vape much slower to let it get caught up and soaked back in. Even with 100% PG I still find I can power vape too fast and start to get that dry/crispy taste. Then I know it's time to slow down... So, yes, I would guess that you may be doing that with your attys/cartos as well... especially if you do all VG or a mix of VG when you vape. It's just too thick and it takes more time to wick where it needs to be. Personally, I think you could get away with a 70/30 mix... or even better yet a 80/20 mix! It doesn't take but a bit of VG to add more vapor into the equation. Try cutting back on the VG and see how it works. I still get plenty of vapor/flavor with 100% PG that I use most of the time also... so I don't think you need to worry about that. -
Man, I can't imagine needing or wanting to vape anything at 6 volts !! That just seems like a bit much to me... and obviously it is because you have to be so carefull not to burn your atty/carto/juice! Cut your losses and drop the voltage back... save yourself some money by not having to buy nearly as many attys/cartos I bet!! Heck, I even feel like 5v is a bit high for a lot of juices,etc... so 6v I would be certain it was too much!

Aren't those the same words they use when describing you too ??
