And see... I can easily get the full flavor and plumes of vapor with a carto... I'm just guessing here, but I bet you haven't tried a carto with anything other than 3.7 volts? Because I would totally agree with that if I were using a standard carto on an eGo for instance. It's a different ball game at 4.5v and up though.

Well, I wasn't talking about direct dripping. I'm just stating a fact that VG does not wick as well (from a cart or in a carto) as PG. Simple as that.

From what others say... 2 - 3 drops gets you 5 - 7 pulls. I think... I don't know for sure since I only use cartos. Someone will help you shortly. I can, though, recommend that you go ahead and grad up some drip tips! Keeps you from getting juiced all the time. You can use drip tips with cartos or attys, either one, and it definately helps with the 'juice in the mouth' thing.

And keep in mind too... VG based juices do not wick very well at all because of how thick it is. This will tend to cause the harsh taste people talk about because it's not wicking fast enough to keep up with your vaping. Try some PG... or mix some PG in with what you already have to thin it a bit and see if that helps. Just a thought.

PLEASE... don't boil your cartos anymore. When it's time to change one out... it's time to change it out. That's not to say I don't refill mine time and time again... but once the flavor starts going downhill I trash em. Besides, there's nothing like the taste of a new carto! By the way... I found my new current favorite... BOBAS BOUNTY W/ MENTHOL ! Doesn't get ANY better!!

That's what I was thinking... but I've never used it so I don't know. Typically, if something isn't safe to injest though, it wouldn't be used for cleaning a coffee pot would it??

It sounds like you are letting them get too dry... you always need to make sure cartos stay nice and wet or the filler will start to burn and taste nasty. There are some excellent 510 cartos here at the VaporTalk store... always want the silver threads! Just make sure your carto filler has enough juice that it "looks like a slushy" on top... then you know it's always got enough juice. Don't use one until you start to run out of vapor or it starts to taste bad... you've waited too long at that point. There are alot of threads on here about cartos and different tips and tricks you will find.

I will say this though... they will definately go thru the juice alot faster. I've also found myself switching them out more often than standard cartos because they tend to get a slight burnt taste after a while. I'm assuming this is only because of the resistance allowing the coil to get hotter, etc. But overall... they are great on 3.7v devices! Just make sure you keep em wet at all times!!

Work even more slick with a drip tip! I've been talkin' about how great the flavor is... but some people just don't feel the same.

100% VG is alot more difficult to vape IMHO... it's so thick and often times just won't keep up with how fast you vape. Giving you that nasty taste... just a thought. Hope you figure it out, I know how much of a pain it can be sometimes... just stick with it. I will also add that if you finally get tired enough of regular attys... I think you should try some cartomizers and some PG based juice. Sure do work great for myself... and alot of others as well.

So if you use it as it's intended you shouldn't use your coffee maker/pot anymore either? I'm confused....

I could not agree more with how you use yours cartos! Almost identical to what I do... even down to the voltage! Only difference is I use cartos exclusively... at home, at work, on the road... you name it... it's cartos for me. When they start to taste off in the flavor department, it's time for a fresh one... and nothing beats a fresh carto!! Yummmm.

One of the main reasons I switched to cartos full-time! Just don't like messing with attys... cartos are NO FUSS for me!

I've NEVER had a single DOA carto from electrinicstix... not the regular ones or the LR ones. They are one of the few places you can buy them a carton at a time also. By the way... don't trash your juice... you can do the Taryn Spin and save 95% of it!! I just don't see how you could have that many be DOA... what are you using them on?? Something else is going on here I think....
