  1. For sure a sprinting shoe... made for on the track and usually for shorter distanced races so they can "dig in", etc.
  2. I will go ahead and get it out of the way... your next purchase, whenever you choose to do so, should be the Joye eGo.
  3. I have actually heard that it is indeed helpful if you are adding any of the powdered sweetener to your juices. It gives it all the time needed to dissolve all the way in the liquid. Just what I've heard from some experienced mixologists...not just my opinion. I certainly don't think it will hurt any of your juices to sit a while and get good and mixed together.
  4. They sure do take some playin around with when it comes to different juices. I found that the more VG in the juice... the slower I have to vape too. Just doesn't wick fast enough it's so thick.
  5. I just placed an order today for English Toffee, Waffle, and Orange Cream. After hearing everyone talk so highly of all of Todd's juices I just had to try for myself! Can't wait!
  6. Could you use one of these with the 306/eGo and still get the cone on? 510 Extension
  7. If its from the nic itself... could it be that we are taking in more nic than we realize... and more than we were when we smoked analogs? Just a thought. Oh, and up until about 7 months ago my vision was great... now I wear glasses.
  8. Might want to have him try cartomizers too since his vision is not so good.... just a thought. And drip tips work great on them as well.
  9. Keep in mind... it's also helpful to let it sit for 30 minutes or more, after you've filled it, to get good and soaked in. Seven days on a carto is longer than I typically make mine last... although I could easily go longer. There's just nothing better than a nice/clean/fresh carto to vape on!
  10. Also, here is a great read that Jolly put together for newbies. E-cig info As already mentioned... the eGo has a much better battery life and everyone loves them. It's a 3.7v device still though, so I would recommend you got some LR (low resistance) atomizers or cartomizers to use with it. Cartos might work better for you because there is less hassle than messing with attys, carts, wicking, and dripping. They contain the atomizer and filler in one piece... then you vape for an hour (or more for some folks) then top off with more juice. As always, there is a learning curve with everything, and everyone has different opinions and favorites. Just try all the different methods and see what you prefer.
  11. Hail it certainly was... but hail as 'soft as balls' it twas not.
  12. I would say in the 2.8 - 3.3 range... anywhere in there is considered "a good vape at 5 volts"... and otherwise safe.
  13. I'd say you should grab up an affordable 5v mod and see what you think of cartomizers... like Jolly says, they are alot different/better at 5 volts vs your standard 3.7.
  14. Only thing that worries me to death is the fact that I may be inhaling some sort of noxious chemicals since some of the fiber filler eventually gets a little black looking!! I can hardly take it it scares me so much.
  15. Yep! And I often times find myself trying to tell n00bs to just skip the whole "I need it to look like a real analog..." garbage, save themselves some time and money, and go straight for 'The Usual' in e-cigs that everyone always recommends! I guess if they don't take our word for it and just want to go ahead and buy a bunch of 510 batts to sit in their stash forever then it's their choice.
  16. WOW, that must REALLY be a bad manual you read! Was there anything worthwhile explained in that one you found online? Was that THE MANUAL for it as far as you know? That's just sad really... Sorry I can't help ya here... I had early "visions of Jokers falling apart in my head", so, thankfully I purchased a different AV setup. Hope all the lucky/smart people that have the AVJ will show up soon!
  17. I'm stoked you like them as well as I do! That's great! Yeah, I tend to go a bit overboard maybe... but I just can't imagine why others wouldn't have the same great experience with them that I do! I'd hate for people to give up on cartos just because their first try was a bad experience. It seems like there are alot of people that don't think they put out good flavor or vapor... and I just wonder to myself what they are doing wrong! They just gotta try the good ones, learn a couple easy tips to make them perform well, and maybe then those folks that haven't given them the chance will see why Im such a 'fanboy' of them! I get MORE flavor and MORE vapor than a standard atty! By the way Schlitz... I'm sure you've read about the 'Taryn Spin' method to use with cartos? You can literally do this and change juices with very little cross contamination... and it also works great to just empty it so you can put fresh juice in one! I usually give each carto at least one REALLY GOOD spin during the time I'm using it... allowing me to use it twice as long as normal because of being able to clean it out and use fresh juice.
  18. Being a user of both HV mods and eGo with LR cartos... I still need that higher voltage to give me a strong TH sometimes. LR is close to HV... but it's still not quite the same for me. I'd vote gettin' you a 5v box mod if you just want to get something cheap to see if you like it... if you do, you can upgrade to a nice unit and still have a box for BACKUP.
  19. I'm diggin' my ENS LR cartos! And mine are 2.0 as well. No issues as of yet... hope you get that figured out. Do you let them sit and soak in good before you start vapin' on it? It helps... I let mine sit for at least 30 minutes prior to using.
  20. Another Sensodine user here... but always had sensitive teeth.
  21. Not bad... considering I go thru 5ml a day...
