You know... it really is something amazing! I placed an order at around 2:00... and I rec'd the email that it had shipped by 4:15.... and I'm talkin' 4:15 AM at that! He was in TinyChat keeping several of us company and I told him I had placed an order... well, I didn't mean for him to get up and go to work! But, I managed to run him off... and next thing I know my order was sent off, along with many others I'm quite sure. It's pretty obvious that Chris truly cares about his customers and will go out of his way to make things happen. Thanks Chris!

Have you tried to gently pry up on the center post so it will make better contact?

I couldn't agree more with Schlitzy... drip tips are essential as far as I'm concerned. They work great on attys and cartos alike... you can drip right through them when on an atty, and pop it off to top it off when on a carto!

Although this doesn't sound like info our "n00b" friend here really needs to know to "learn the ropes" of vaping, etc. By the way ElementGreen... I totally thought that you said you had an eGo, I obviously read your original post wrong. I missed the fact that you have a 510 right now. Definitely shouldn't be going with the 2.0 cartos with that battery... as Snubber stated. So, your best bet would be, to stick with some standard cartos for now and see how you like them... along with atty's to do your direct dripping if you want. :t

You really should do yourself a favor and grab some up to try. Just make sure you get the Boge cartos with the silver threads... they tend to be better in every aspect. They are better because they have a lower resistance which allows them to heat up faster and hotter. I use these on a daily basis and really like how well they perform. Also, if you haven't used a carto before, I would also recommend that you try them using a PG based e-liquid. VG based juices, from my experience, are simply too thick to work/wick well. Every time I've used a VG based juice after about 3 or 4 drags it started to dry out and the flavor would drop drastically. Some people have not had problems using VG... but you will find that the majority of folks will suggest using a PG based liquid because of these issues. Hope this helps.

I had to laugh for a minute after reading this... You start out saying "there's nothing really wrong with the blu"... and then go on for the next 250 words just bashing the livin' daylights out of it. That is usually the opposite of what happens. Alot of times they won't taste great when you get them... but after a few days they taste better. That sounds odd. Are you buying from alot of different suppliers and this is still happening every time? Strange.

MY SUGGESTED CARTOS FOR THE EGO: (other opinions will vary on this topic, these are simply what I have had the best luck with) You need to be looking for the 510 Boge cartos, silver threads, around 3.0 ohms. (regular cartos) (These are typically used on devices that go higher than 3.7 volts.) REGULAR CARTOS And for the LR cartos go for the LR 510 Boge cartos around 2.0 ohms (LR cartos). (carto of choice if using on a standard eGo battery) LR CARTOS Check any of the suggested retailers on the forum here and find what you need. Vapor Talk store has some regular cartos in stock... but I don't think he has any LR cartos right now. (I much prefer the LR cartos if I'm vaping at 3.7 on the eGo. This seems to be the carto of choice at this time for many people.) One little word of advice... once you have filled them with whatever method you want... I would suggest putting the "condoms" back on and letting them sit for 30 minutes or so. This will let the juice get good and soaked in like it needs. And remember, once you do start using a carto, it's always smart to keep topping it off every hour or so to keep them good and wet. And most importantly... if you can at all manage, you should use PG based juices in cartos to get the best vaping experience possible. VG based juices are simply too thick for most of them to wick well enough to keep up with most of us. There are a small handful of folks that don't have any issues... but for the majority of people VG is just a real hassle. Hopefully you have some PG based stuff you can fill them with so you don't get bummed out when you can only get 2 or 3 good drags before the flavor/vapor is drastically diminished. :

That would definitely be the problem! VG at any % just doesn't really work for me... way too thick.

For some reason it stops at the 3:16 mark for me and won't go past that. Any idea that is causing that?? Got it to work now.... nice work Schlitzy!

I would recommend you also put Vaporbomb.com on your list of vendors to try out. They have alot of great stuff to chose from... and their stuff definitely does not lack in the flavor department! Prices are good too... 10ml bottles for $6 and 30ml bottles for $15. And when their "flavor of the week" is one you like or would like to try... you can get the 30 ml bottle of that for $10!

Oh I'm sure it will be a huge seller once it's all done. To me, however, it would be kinda nice to have a fairly certain feel for what its going to look like when done... especially if people are supposed to get hyped up about it. I have a feeling that this is at least a wee bit important to quite a few folks... the overall appearance of their kickin' new device. So, what exactly DO you expect it will look like when its all done? Will there be another "coming out" of her new look for us to see when any changes are made prior to production? That would be kinda sweet if it happened like that before they went up for sale.

Man, I currently vape all PG probably 90% of the time. One of the reasons for that is because of how poorly it worked in cartos for me. I seriously have trouble even when I try to use a juice with 20% VG. I don't know why others seem to be able to vape VG in cartos... but it may be that I vape constantly and all day. I just feel like it can't wick properly because of how fast/much I am vaping. It may very well work for them though if they vape/set it down... vape/set it down... etc. I'm just not wired to do that I guess. Give it a try... but I honestly cannot imagine using ALL VG! That would just be nuts I would think. Happy to see your face around here!

You know what... this isn't the first time something like this has happened to me. There are a couple of people on here that really don't get me... or like me for that matter, but I'm not going to worry about that as it is always going to be that way with said people. I'm never one to search down that perfect freakin smiley to "announce" how you are supposed to interpret my posts when you read them. I'm always typing something quickly... and without second thought I have hit the "post" key. One of the many drawbacks of typing our thoughts, instead of saying them I suppose. And then, all of the sudden... everything has spiraled out of control and someone gets upset or pissed off. I guess that's just my luck... I'm a forum n00b. The eGo kit already has cones... so you wouldn't need 2 extras. Unless maybe you meant to get 2 extra "atomizers" instead of "atomizer cones"? I would sure recommend you have a couple extra atomizers.
