NONE of my PA flavors were even close to tasting like that for me Jolly... thank God or I would have been pissed off! I don't know what ones you are talking about though, but it must be the ones other than the 25-30 I've tried so far. LOL. Luckily for me, I just ordered a bunch more that I know I already like.
-
I'm not sure which ones you are referring to about the bottle size. But I think they all sell the little dram bottle that you are speaking of though. What I did when I first placed my order for PA flavors, was get those little tiny bottles like you are talking about, that way I could try them all before I went to the larger size. PA flavorings are a lot different than Lorans to me. I don't know exactly how to describe it... but they just seem 'cleaner' or something. It may just be in my head since they are all nice and basically all clear! I only had 2 or 3 out of 20 that I didn't care fore though. Good stuff! And I have found that the Bubble Gum from PA works great for a sweetener as well! Another mainstay in my collection, not really a "flavoring", is Menthol. I honestly add a bit of menthol to every juice that I will be vaping! It's strange... I never smoked menthols back in the day either.

The Boge cartos are pretty much the best ones out there... same thing VT Store sells I believe, yes. You just gotta make sure that whatever cartos you buy, they don't have gold threads, other than that you should be fine. Just remember, cartos are alot cheaper to make since they are supposed to be disposable, so therefore the quality/consistancy will suffer. It does seem to me that the last couple of months things like the tight filler, etc. have been getting more frequent. I don't know what the deal is... maybe they just are putting forth to much effort trying to come up with a carto that works better! I hope that they realize that it's not good practice to be selling the 'latest/greatest' carto ... that has to be modded to work at all!

I could not agree more my friend! PEACE!
-
I certainly don't 'seek anything'... I just mind my own business and don't waste my time worrying about what anybody thinks about my LEGAL activities!
-
To each their own! Why should I be all WORRIED SICK about something that is legal to do? Sorry, I'm missing your point on this one my friend... I don't get that 'logic'. It's not harmful to anyone around me if they did get second hand vape... and I would hope that most of us would believe that to be true. I'm just guessing, from what I've read anyway, that there will be no problem in proving that very soon. Until it's not the 'right thing' to do in public places... then I'm not going to worry about upsetting a select few with poor attitudes. Reminder: This is just my opionion again, and thankfully, I'm completely entitled to that still today! Flame suit on...

Your best bet would be to buy empty cartos and fill them when ready. That way the carto will last forever until you need it. Just concentrate on finding 2 or 3 juices that you really like and you would be fine then. That's what I do... buy cartos and use my own juice. You would be getting ripped off if all you did was buy pre-filled cartos. Definitely not cost effective... and it's not a pain to fill them really.

I don't really give a crap... I vape whenever/wherever I feel the urge. I just don't act like I'm doing something all secretive and look like I'm all worried about what someone is going to say. The more we act like we're doing something wrong the more reason they have to approach us. I just do it, mind my own business, and continue on with my day. I think that we need to be more like this and not worry so much about it until we are TOLD that it is ILLEGAL to use in ALL public places. What's the worst that can happen anyway... they ask you to stop? "OK, thank you sir, I was just leaving anyway!" Or, if I feel like that person might benefit from it, I would then educate them on the e-cig and explain the difference.

Getting A Burnt Taste Out Of A New Ego. Desperate.
DAYVAPE replied to swatsqad's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Yeah, that sux... I bet the wicking is already fried into place then. If that's the case I would say go ahead and get some more on order and try to make due with what you've got on hand. Oh yeah, and don't forget to de-wick your new ones. -
Just a note from another fairly new 'MIXOLOGIST'... I started with a bunch of different Loranns flavors and went through all of them. I wasn't really THAT impressed so I started doing some research and found Perfumer's Apprentice. I have tried a BUNCH of different ones from them already (just ordered another 20 flavors lastnight) and found them to be a bit weaker... but a lot better quality. Nearly every single Loranns I had was some shade of 'dark'. Almost every single PA flavoring I got in my first batch were clear or nearly clear. I also found them to have a better/cleaner taste than the others or something. I just found that I needed to up my % of flavoring for some of them when mixing. A 15ml bottle for under $4 isn't too bad either really. I'd say to try more than one make of flavorings to see what you personally prefer. I just decided that I much prefer my flavorings to be on the clear side vs. the darker side. JMHO. It really is nice to know with confidence that you can make several different juices that you really like though... so it's well worth the effort you put into it. Just keep in mind that alot of it in the beginning is trial and error. You will probably end up dumping more then you keep when you first start. Don't give up though!

Getting A Burnt Taste Out Of A New Ego. Desperate.

Either the wicking under the atty is melted to the coil and it's toast. Or, it could possibly be the material in the cartridge. It doesn't take long for that stuff to start getting dried up too many times and melting/burning on the bridge. This happens to a lot of folks... and a simple 'drip tip' is the easiest way to fix that. Just start direct dripping then. If I were you I would try using a cart with no filler and just direct drip and see what happens. Who knows they may already be toast... worth a try I would guess. -
So can you tell me what 'standard resistance' is then? You use that term quite a bit... what does it equal to you? Sorry, just curious about these and I know they make everything at different resistances for different voltages, etc. Great video though!
-
That is really the best way to treat a standard carto with the exposed filler. Vape on it for a while until the flavor/vapor start to weaken' on it and top it off with more juice. It's really the easiest way to treat one that I have found... I never try to vape it all or keep track of what level its at. Just 'vape, top off, repeat'!
-
You would problably save yourself a lot of trouble just switching to 'direct dripping' or using 'cartomizers'. Either method will work better than using the standard cart/filler because it will use up your juice too fast and simply melt the filler to the bridge of your atty. Most beginners will try the carts/filler that come with their unit and quickly switch to 'dripping' or 'cartos'. By the way, I LIKE CARTOS a little bit!
-
"Someone" in chat was using a 'Tank' the other night and said it was "awesome and great, etc.". Said it "vaped away every single drop in the tank every time..." and it also looked to me like it produced massive vapor as well. Should turn out to be a great addition to vaping!
-
So, you just pull your cart off and drip? This happened to me all the time when I first started and was using regular carts. The issue with "getting juiced" is that the condensation builds up in the cart/mouthpiece and will eventually offer it's sweet nectar to you via the tiny little hole. This goes away with the addition of the "drip tip" and it's larger opening.
-
That sounds about average to me. What device/atty are you currently using? If you already have a drip tip and this is happening, then maybe some juice is getting caught up in the tip. Just gently blow into it after you have dripped and that will get the air bubble out. These are really a 'must have' for most of us... they really are handy and make vaping much easier/pleasant to do.
-
No, it means: "Come to the front desk and I'll sell you a Blu Electronic Cigarette, so you can vape here while you bowl, and I will make even more money off of you." At least they are letting folks vape inside though I suppose.
-
Heck, now he has a new intro I believe... oh well! He does have alot of great vids out there on vaping and such though.

I meant this guy.... HERE!

What does the resistance measure on those cartos, any idea? If you could measure that with your handy voltmeter that would be great. (assuming you have a voltmeter like most) You typically don't switch up a carto/atty from 3.7 to 5 volt devices without knowing the resistance. I heard you ask if anyone has tried them on 5 or 6 volt devices to let you know, etc. But if they are made to use on a standard 510, and they perform great on a 510 already, then you wouldn't want to use them on your 5v pass-thru. It just stands to reason that the carto would more than likely be running a bit too hot at 5v if it's already producing clouds of vapor at 3.7. Luckily though, that's exactly why they make cartos/attys at different resistances. That's just my opinion tho, and certainly doesn't mean it's right!
-
That is what 'Chuck' does on the intro of his vids too I believe.

That's what I did yesterday while I was "working"... just listened to it in the background. It really is a great interview I must say! Very informative as well.
-
Too bad I'd never use a drop.... LOL.

I doubt I'm capable of 'earning my keep'... but I will tell you how I use them. Do you treat these like an atty in that you "fire" it up momentarily before actually "hitting" it or will that put undo stress on it? Personally, I don't bother with this... it just isn't necessary in my opinion. But I know others that do just the opposite. What kind of draw do you put on these...2...3..6.seconds. Since we are talkin' about the LR cartos here... I normally hit it for 4-5 seconds if I know it's good and full. Otherwise, the longer I use one... the shorter the hit gets for me! How often do you top it off? It's pretty obvious when the top layer of filler becomes dry, but don't want to "overfill" either. I'm one of those people that tops off my carto quite often! I normally will vape a good 10 times or so and be ready to set it down till next time. Before the next "session"... I top off with 6 drops or so, give or take, until I have that nice slurpy look on top. As far as cleaning what do you recommend? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I typically use a carto for about a week... depending on the juice I'm vaping in it. After a few days the juice will begin to darken each time you add juice, etc... yet I don't find it tastes bad until it gets really dark and burnt. I just don't push one past that point... nor do I waste time cleaning them. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. The one thing I always have handy is a large paperclip with the end bent out on it so I can stick through the center hole of the carto and give it a good wiggle around. This really helps to clean the airway and prolong the use! As cheap as these things are, and for the consistancy they give me, I have not found anything else to replace them as of yet. Hope this helps at least a little!
