If I'm not mistaken... you would need a 510 to KR808 adapter... I think it has air slits in it that the 901 does not. I may be wrong... but I can't get much of a draw using a 901 adapter with V4L cartos.

Actually... that is a fabulous way to describe VG!! I like it! And not to mention it feels like vaping 'flavorless' juices after you have vaped only PG juices for a year straight.

Man, that would suck if I knew I had to peel those wrappers off every time I wanted to change out a carto. No thanks... I would go completely insane if that had to happen! I will happily use something else, thanks.

Thankfully, the MAP is a totally different type of "tank" than the eGo version! I didn't like the flavor of them... and the amount of juice they hold doesn't last long with me. I'm still a bit nervous waiting to try the MAP... I'm not gonna lie! Considering how much I hate CE2 cartos right out of the box... I guess I have every reason to worry! But since it is a totally different configuration I'm willing to give it a wirl.

That's odd... I can just barely notice the difference most of the time to be quite honest. You may have just got that certain 'specially made one' that it is really noticable on. Good luck !

They very well could be 'better'... but I would just like to know what brand they really are so I could have some idea as to what I'm getting. No big deal really...

I can assure you that with a Buzz you certainly can achieve "more vapor" if that is what you are after. With it being 'variable voltage' you have the ability to fine tune it to your specific atty/carto you plan to use. I love 'vari-volt' devices... I have several now and am glad that I have that option to adjust it as needed! You'd be surprised what .5 volts can make on any given setup. It's just nice knowing that you aren't tied to a single given voltage!

I recall reading someones post quite some time ago about this topic. He stated that it "wasn't even possible for mold/mildew to grow in the presence of PG and/or VG that is also present in the carto at that time." I definitely remember him explaining why... but I can't seem to dig it up right this second though. Hopefully someone will also remember what I'm talking about and chime in here. I just remember it making sense and helping me to not stress about it.

Um, I will have to kindly disagree. The FIRST thing I look at is if it has the crappy/gold threads or the better/silver threads. These appear to be gold in the picture... hard to tell really, but aren't these just different cartos that IKV is calling the "Gold", "Silver", etc?? Or are they actually MAKING them in house?? I would venture to say they are VERY similar to current Bauway and other 'gold threaded cartos' available. I just like to KNOW what carto Im getting ready to buy... so I would rather the vendor just list what brand the damn thing is so I can decide. But that is just my opinion... maybe I'm wrong and they have gone and developed a new carto I haven't seen yet! I'm stoked they are working out so well for you and that you like them so well! So, what was/is the biggest differences in them vs. say a Boge 510 carto at the same resistance?? Got me curious now!!

I'm thinkin' you meant to say the 306 carto, right Jolly? They do make a 302 carto... although it won't fit the 510 threads. I ordered some in the regular and LR versions to test drive... lookin' forward to trying them out! I'm still on my Boge 510... 2.0 or 3.0 cartos... and still working just fine for my needs! I'm kinda curious about the warmer vaper, etc. from the 306's since they are a tad smaller.

Easy fix... ditch the cone! Or try drilling the holes like Mark suggested... lol.

For real though... I will bet you anything that I would not be the only one saying/wishing that there was a way to see the juice! LOL.

Yeah, well I would have cautioned you against it had I known. Sorry they aren't working for you either. I know alot of people like them... so surely someone will take them off your hands if you really don't want them.

You sound like you are describing the CE2 cartos when you mention removing the top piece and the "two holed one below that"... Are you in fact using a MAP Tank by chance?? EDIT: Now I see that it was the eGo Tank. I wasn't pleased with it at all either... had the same experience in bad taste too often... and back to the lifelong inhales just to get a good 'hit' from the thing. I just can't regress like that would be doing from using LR cartos. NO THANKS ON THE EGO TANKS!! Another failed attempt, in my book, on a 'juice delivery system' that actually works as it should. Besides, even if it did work out of the box and tasted great, it wouldn't be long before that little tiny tube/wick area that the juice must enter becomes clogged! I don't want to go back to having to clean atty's because they don't work worth a crap anymore and are all gunked up! The ONLY "tank" I would ever try in the future would be the MAP version... I have heard much better results from it as well.

I have heard many a great thing about the MAP Tanks thus far. I foresee myself making THAT purchase in the near future to see if I can better my current vaping situation. I'm starting to think that I should just forget about everything else and just enjoy vaping like I currently am! I start to question my quest for the 'perfect vaping experience' anyway!

Being that cartos are so much cheaper... you are going to have to expect some of the little issues with them. I have tried every damn carto out there and I STILL KEEP COMING BACK to my trusty Boge 510s!! I do have some 306 cartos on order and should be getting them any day now. I'm stoked to try them out since they need no adapters, etc. to use with my 510 fittings. I just think we are still a ways out on that "perfect cartomizer"... but I guess the only way to get there is to keep trying new versions! FOR ME, nothing performs enough better than a Boge 510 to warrant switching over yet... unless these 306 cartos have the right amount of filler to suit my needs. We shall see! By the way... don't forget that PG based juices tend to work better in mainly all of the cartos out there. I know some folks do blends with success... I just can't speak for that since I'm 100% PG.

Yes, it's definitely well known that PA flavors aren't as strong... but the quality of them compared to others is quite obvious as well. I much prefer my juices more on the clear side vs. the dark brown side when I am done mixing them. I would prefer to use a bit more flavor and end up with a better/clearer juice in the end I suppose. Good thing there are sooo many choices out there for all of us!

I'm another one that adds a 'splash' of menthol to nearly every single juice I buy or make.
