Yeah, I'd happily mail you a couple as well... but mine aren't the MEGA ones. They taste too much like plastic for me !! I tried to like them... trying several, all had the same 'plastic-like' taste to them. Not to mention they are a pain to fill... needing to use a syringe to do so, and having to take those tiny two pieces out to be able to do so. No thanks... I'll pass.

You won't find me going back and forth... I have been there and done all that. Which explains why I have a crapload of 510 attys, 901 attys, eGo Tanks, and MAP tank... you name it I've probably tried it. All of which will NEVER be better than the carto... for me at least. Believe it or not, I have even been 'direct dripping' some too, when I mix up new stuff I don't want to try it for the first time in a carto as it may need tweaked. After over a year I have tried every dang thing that comes out claiming to be the latest and greatest... and have rarely been over joyed with most thing. I was all excited about the eGo Tank too... but it sux in my opinion! But I don't want to get in to that now. I totally understand where you are coming from, but after all the money I've spent buying the new things, cartos are simple where its at for me. At least I have been able to find my 'HAPPY PLACE'... things could be alot worse or I could still be smoking!

That's another thing I don't miss about atty's... them failing at the drop of a hat. I have yet to receive a single dead carto... nor have I even had one stop working. And you can see in my signature how long I've been at this. "WINNING" Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in or anything... LOL.

Not to mention I would have quite a large amount of expensive devices just sitting there... I guess I would have to sell it all. But I certainly don't see that ever becoming a reality. It's too much fun being able to see vaping evolve... and all the new/awesome mods people are coming out with.

Sorry I've been away for a bit. Here's my method of filling... what works for me may or may not for others, but it never fails for me. Using 100% PG based juices only, works much better anything with VG in it. Trust me, I've tried a lot of blends, 70/30 and 80/20, and went right back to my PG ONLY juices. I know other people say they use blends... but it simply does not wick fast enough for me, not to mention it really changed the flavor and throat hit of my juice... and not in a good way either! OK, now that my PG/VG rant is over I can explain my method. First, I remove both of the 'condoms' and the little 'buttplug', then put the smaller of them back on the threaded end. I typically push it almost all the way on... but leave a small space. Taking a juice filled syringe, with a fairly small needle, I poke it in to the filler down to the bottom of the carto. When adding juice, gently push on syringe while slowly drawing it up. Repeat this process a few times until filled... don't worry about any juice that comes up through the center or overfilling either. After it's filled to top I take it and give it a good 'thermometer shake'... so that there is a small amount of juice seen in the carto. You should notice that the filler material looks a bit dry after doing this. This helps to spread the juice all through the filler material much better. I then add enough drops till it's to the top of the filler material again and repeat process. Now, the most important part from what I've learned, is to stand the carto up in a shot glass or something (carto still on) allowing it to soak in totally. I prefer to leave it overnight since I already have cartos I'm vaping on. After it has sat, for however long you can let it, it's ready to vape. Remove condom, wipe off any excess juice from it, throw on a drip tip and vape! And as other have said... I toke on it for 10-15 times and set it down for a bit. When it's time for more, I just pull drip tip off and add enough drops till it's nice and wet, and vape away. Some would say: "Why the hell don't you just use an atty then since you have to drip often?" To that, my response is that I actually prefer the flavor/vapor/throat hit of my carto over an atty anyway. And the other reason is that when I did direct drip, I was constantly having to wipe juice up that leaks from the bottom of atomizers. With my cartos... there isn't NEARLY as much of that, rarely actually. It's a hell of a lot easier to over drip and get those nasty 'dry hits' if it's not properly filled. And don't believe em when they say: "I never get 'dry hits' or have leaky atty's"... there lies I tell ya, all lies! Attys just aren't for me... and with cartos you don't have to worry about harsh hits. Especially, if you take the time to 'top off' often, it provides the best tasting/most constancy while vaping for me anyway. Experiences and opinions obviously vary greatly in the 'carto vs. atty' debate... just try to find what works for you and you will be totally satisfied! Hopefully I didn't leave too much out... I don't know how I could have with the length of this book!

I could not have said it any better. That was pretty much exactly how I would have put it as well! I know for certain that I MUCH prefer vaping over smoking for many reasons. The main one being that there are so many great flavors out there... how could anyone possibly say that the taste of their cigarette is awesome? What the hell ever... there was nothing that tasted or smelled wonderful when I was a smoker. Now I don't have to deal with having 'ashtray mouth' or nasty smelling clothes either! Oh yeah, and I'm what some would say a MOD JUNKIE at this point, even over a year later. I'm like you Ripple, I call it a 'hobby', but some say I just traded one addiction for another. Those are just the dumb/uneducated individuals that I run across though... so it's all good.

Yep, just grab a box of LR cartos on your next order and see if you like them. Just make sure they are the BOGE cartos ... with the silver threads. I basically 'direct drip' with a carto and it's "winning' for sure for me. You will find everyone likes different things for different reasons around here. The main thing I can recommend is to make sure your juice is mainly PG... if not 100%. VG doesn't seem to wick as well and will gunk em up much faster.

PG is the KEY! I have a feeling it doesn't gunk up nearly as bad as if it had VG in it. Not only that, but they perform much better with the thinner PG liquid, and end up lasting me quite some time. I have tried the different ratios of PG/VG and I much prefer the 100% PG... mainly so I can vape like a maniac and not have to take little breaks for it to soak in again. And secondly, I can't stand the taste of VG and how it affects the actual flavor itself. You can really tell the difference going from ALL PG to a juice with VG mixed in... FAIL! I actually toss em after about a week anyway... there's just nothing that tastes better than a brand new carto in my opinion! And remember to let them sit overnight if you can... they will work much better. Then, just like you do, I keep it topped off during the day! I don't even let it get to the point that the juice has lost alot of it's flavor! One of the most important things to do with cartos is to keep them very moist!!! I actually PREFER the taste/performance of cartos over attys... once you learn all the little tips/tricks with them you can't NOT be pleased with one.

In all reality... if you purchase the right oHm rated atty then it should last you just as long as any others. That's one of the many reasons we get to pick... so it pairs up properly with out devices! Obviously, the higher the voltage you use, the higher the resistance should be so it can withstand the bigger/more powerful battery. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't that why they make different rated attys, for use on different variable voltage devices??

Of course ... it just brought up others 'fun times' and I was simply recalling/retelling them so everyone could get some enjoyment out of it like I did!

See Sharon, that's the part that gets me to thinkin', the fact that some people actually think I "lash out" at random people as I pass by them on the sidewalks! As a matter of fact... the perception that most folks here have of me couldn't be further from reality. Yeah, I may have 'acted up' a time or two around here... but that certainly doesn't mean that I'm some 'unstable/crazy' person that couldn't "read your kids a bedtime story". Honestly, it's no big deal... I haven't lost any sleep over it as of yet. Besides, I still like both of your butts anyway, no matter what horrible things you say about me... so I'm ok with it. OH CRAP... I FORGOT TO USE 'EMOTICONS' AGAIN. So I will just add them all here at the end so that you will know what my real/true feelings were/are as I'm typing this post. I totally agree with Brian on this one... get some backups. And, I don't see any reason in going backwards with your devices.... much shorter battery life will be the biggest disappointment you discover. Also, the TorneGo battery holds a much more constant voltage than the stick batteries, voltage drop sucks! You would also need to stock up on 510 batteries so you don't get caught w/o one charged up, etc. Not to mention they can just quit working for no reason... therefore you would need more than just 2 I would say. It just really ends up becoming a hassle... at least it did for myself and many others here. I would say consider yourself lucky that you didn't do like 90% of us did and start out with a 'stick style' e-cig. Because now most of us have a buttload of spare 510, 901, 801, or other spare batteries! I just have a feeling that you would end up using your Tornado all of the time... but that doesn't mean you can't have a 510 as a backup. But remember, you aren't supposed to use LR cartos/attys on stick style batteries... which basically sucks because LR is the only way to vape at 3.7 IMHO. RANT OFF... LOL.

Oh yay.... I'm kinda back! At least for the time being. I kinda just figured everyone would actually enjoy this place more if I weren't here making posts that end up under somebody's thin skin. But hey, what do ya expect I guess, it's part of most/all forums I have a feeling. There's always gotta be one in the crowd to keep things interesting I guess! Oh, I see what you are saying... and no, they won't last an entire day by any means. The way I treat it is basically like a carto that I 'direct drip' into. I will have a 'vape session' until I have got my fix, set it down till I'm ready again, then just pop off the drip tip and add about 10 drops or so until it's full again. In other words... I just 'top off' before each session and that way I know it will taste fresh every time. Really quite simple... and I get a hell of a lot more 'hits' off of a carto than I do when direct dripping on an atty. Not to mention, I actually PREFER the flavor and vapor production that I get out of my cartos, even more than the atty. Also, it's nice to know that I will NEVER have to worry about getting that 'burnt/harsh' hit that you get when your atty is low/out of juice, and I know you know what I'm talkin' about. LOL. I CAN'T STAND THAT!

I too can't stand the eGo Tank system... and for the same reason you gave... piss poor taste from all of my juices! Goodbye eGo Tank... welcome back Boge Cartos !!

Hey, thanks! It's been pretty hectic around my household as of late. I'm hoping everything is about to get back to normal here fairly quickly though...

I'm guessin' it has alot to do with the quality of the juice we use in them... the PG/VG ratio... how we each vape in particular... and several other variables. I think it's really interesting although, to see how some people love them and won't use anything else (ME)... and then you have those that hate them and say that they really suck. It simply MUST have a lot to do with 'operator error' or 'operator success' in each persons use of them.... thats the only logical thing I can come up with! Otherwise, there wouldn't be such varying opinions on them from one person to the next. I have nothing but pure vaping pleasure and enjoyment with all of my BOGE CARTOS!! And for that... I'm a happy man.

I don't bother wasting time trying to actually "clean" cartos either... just seems like a lot of work for such an inexpensive product. Heck, I figure if a carto lasts me up to a week anyway, then I'm totally stoked with that... especially since they are meant to be "disposable" anyway. Besides... there's nothing better than fillin' up that fresh/clean carto and just tearin' it up!!! I mean really... there comes a time when a carto is as brown and nasty as it should ever get in it's lifespan.

Yeah, I also saw someones video using those "bridge cleaners" or whatever they were. Looks like I'll be trying some of those out as well... great idea!

Have you used something to stick through the center tube/hole in the carto? I use a paperclip most of the time when mine start to get stiffer to draw on. Simply poke it all the way through from the top and out the threaded end... then gently turn it in circles both directions a few time then line it back up so it's centered. This works for me every time. Just a thought. Now I see that you HAVE tried the paperclip... don't give up on it. You will most certainly see darker colored "gunk/juice" on it because that is the stuff that has been getting hot over and over again, so it has turned a bit nasty. As for feeling it hit something when inserting it... if everything is lined up like it's supposed to be you should not feel anything. That is the main reason I do it... to kind of re-align everything every once in a while. You just gotta keep trying to move it around until you can hit it. Also, you can go from the threaded end first and then out the top (just make sure it sticks out far enough to grab it)... this is often times much easier to do when I run in to problems going in from the top. Once it's stuck out the top you can grab the end and wiggle it around in circles the same way... then center everything up again and it will draw like new! At least it always does for me anyway! Just some more random thoughts.

No, I only use the regular cartos... with the filler. If you have an eGo... try some LR CARTOS. Just make sure you aren't using 100% VG... it's too thick. I use all PG and love it in regular and LR cartos. Works like a champ.

And to clarify from another post... it's not that MAP tank that sux... it's the CE2's inside !! The MAP tank is great in and of itself, except for the cost, but I have nothing but issues with CE2's. Others like them... I can't stand that crappy flavor mine have provided.

My MAIN problem with it is that it uses CRAPPY CE2's! I can't stand those worthless things... I must just be the unlucky one that got all the bad ones, cuz every one of tried tasted like ! And I mean that in that it doesn't wick properly and you have to tip/tilt/jack with it till there is juice in the well. NO THANK YOU!!! Cheshyl: I have used every voltage known to man.... I haven't tried one on my eGo. Don't like the eGo Tanks either. FAIL. All I can say is: THANK GOD FOR CARTOS!
