  1. Yep, that good ol center post issue again.... good call Mark!
  2. Well vaping sure isn't going to help with you'drying out' like that! Especially since your doc told you to use saline spray, etc... he must have noticed that you were really dry. Maybe you should think about easin' up on the good ol vape until this gets better? Just a thought... I mean vaping is just totally keeping you from getting where it needs to be. You really couldn't be doing anything any worse for yourself right now than inhaling that PG/VG... we all know how much it dries us out anyway. I can't imagine being in the shape you are and still vaping. That's a bummer man... Hope it passes soon so you can keep hittin' that TANK! :thumbsu
  3. The only problem is that once it gets to that point and you have to start prying it up all the time... it will never be the same again. You will forever be prying that post up to make contact... just how those particular atty connectors suck.
  4. Yep, that 'oh so common center pin issue' we have all experienced if we've owned Vaperlife units! I had the same problems with my VP2 and VPPT from them... was always having to pry up that damn center pin so it would make contact. Got tired of that real quick... now my VPPT just sits collecting dust. Yes ROOK... the inner circular part of that connector, I used a pair of really pointy tweezers and just worked around the entire post gently prying up a bit on it.... gently. Could also use a eyeglass screwdriver as well.
  5. The Revolution is a 'carto type/2-piece' e-cig... they gave you an entire kit free? Wow, that's a nice freebie... we all get freebies alot, but I've not ever gotten a complete e-cig kit before! LOL.
  6. Man, that just saddens me to know that you have all those goodies and can't use any of it! Have you tried to just add some VG to your juices and make them a 50/50 mix to see how that works? I have difficulty thinking that if you cut it like that it would still bother you... after all, PG is in sooo many products that we come in contact with from day to day. I don't know... I'm just wishing there was something you could do so you could enjoy your awesome 'vapey gear'!
  7. Just a reminder... tobacco flavors are hard to replicate since vaping isn't actually burning something like smoking an analog is. There are tobacco juices out there... and some of them do a pretty decent job of recreating the real thing. I have heard several people say that Bobas Bounty from Alien Visions is good... then turn around and hear the next guy hate it. Taste is very subjective you will find out... what you like, the next person despised it. Also, this is a SOLID tobacco flavor as well... with it's many loyal fans: #1 TOBACCO JUICE!
  8. That thing is 'big pimpin' yo! I love Keltic designs and such... can't go wrong with something like that! Nice work J-Rock... as usual.
  9. The thing with cartos though is you can never vape every last drop out of them. So you may be 'using' 12-15 ml per day... but I bet you aren't vaping that much. I go through a bunch of juice also since I use cartos... but this is what I think is happening. Of course, I purposely DON'T vape my cartos till they are dry... I'm toppin' off way before I ever get to that point! I suppose I could be wrong... but I doubt I 'vape' all the juice I 'use' in a day.
  10. I always thought the weight gain people experienced when they quit smoking was because of the need for the 'hand to mouth' fixation? So, instead of picking up a cigarette, they would use food as a crutch to fill that oral fixation need. I remained the same when I switched to vaping from smoking... but I'm sure it's different for everyone.
  11. This is quite common in the vaping world... it's just part of it. You must keep hydrated while using e-cigs... they do dry you out. I never vape without there being a drink within reach!
  12. Unfortunately, I think that this is the main thing that folks are complaining about with the eGo T. Mine also gave me a funny taste.... never went away so I threw in the towel on that and went back to my trusty cartos.
  13. You know better than that... nothing 'compares to a carto' !! Once you get em figured out they work great! I've been through a LOT of cartos... and I have yet to even have one quit on me, nor have I had a single DOA ! That's amazing really, considering they are meant to be 'disposable'!
  14. Good for you Emile.... it really is totally different than vaping LR on 3.7 volts. At least I can sure tell a difference when going from one to the other. I think you will quickly see what I'm talking about once you vape 5v. It's much warmer, nice to take shorter draws and still plenty of vapor, just all around more power! You'll see... let us know how it goes!
  15. eGo T is your problem... they just aren't all they were hyped up to be for a lot of people. Along with the weak vapor... many people complained about a strange taste as well. I experienced it... and swiftly stopped trying to make them work for me. Was right back to working cartos again... oh well.
  16. Sweet!! Congrats my friend! Hey, check your PM's...
  17. Or you could just skip the eGo Tank and go right for the new 2 gallon, I mean 12ml, MAP Tank system!
  18. It's 3.7 with a 14500... I wonder why you aren't supposed to use LR cartos with it. I'm confused...
  19. For me.... it has alot to do with overall battery life.
  20. I'm fairly certain that after a couple of years nic starts to degrade quite a bit. At least that's what I've heard people say anyway. It all depends on the quality of it... the strength of it... etc.
  21. You are using exactly what I prefer/use on a daily basis. You can use 808 cartos with an adapter... but you wouldn't be gaining anything... I still think the Boge 2.0's are far better. Also, the only thing you would notice going from a 2.0 to a 2.5 ohm carto is the vapor isn't as warm from the 2.5 and you will have to draw on it a bit longer to get a good 'hit'. I prefer LR cartos (1.8-2.0 ohm) on 3.7 volt devices... and 2.5+ ohm for when I'm at higher voltages. Just my .02
  22. Give it a easy blow onto a paper towel to clear the airway before you screw it to your device... that should get rid of any juice that you may inhale.
  23. Note: "Non-believer's" need not read any further... only 'carto talk' to follow... carry on. So, a couple other things I might mention... if you don't have any 'drip tips' you really should do yourself a favor and grab some up. I personally prefer the Delrin ones, because they don't get nearly as hot as the aluminium/metal ones, and I'm not known to be a 'one or two hitter/quitter'. When I sit down to vape I do so for a good amount of time typically. There are a lot of different kinds to chose from too... just go for what you like. You'll want the '510/901' drip tips... and the longer the better IMHO. Just replace the little round white mouthpiece that comes in a carto with a drip tip. Then, once you notice it losing flavor and vapor, I typically just pop mine off so I can drip down the inside while rotating it slowly to saturate it everywhere good. Once it stops soaking in to the filler you are 'topped-off' and ready to go at it again. I have just gotten into the habit of pulling mine off because I like to see what I'm doing while topping it off... also, you don't typically want to drip down the center where the air flows or it will likely run out the bottom. I top my cartos off quite often too, as it keeps them tasting as fresh as new, and simply extends the life of the filler material. After all, the longer you vape on one the dryer that filler gets, and the shorter the time it takes for it to start tasting nasty. I never vape a carto dry, not even close to that point, for this very reason. I typically vape for 10 - 20 'pulls' like I would have done with an analog, set it down till I'm ready again, then do my 'toppin' off' method before I use it again. So, to play on the glorious words of our Great Vapor Talk Founder/God... () For me and my cartos... it goes something kinda like this: "TOP-OFF, VAPE, REPEAT"! Just my 2 cents!

And I can assure you that you would NOT be disappointed if you purchased the eGo... or Riva for that matter I would imagine, I've just never had a Riva to compare the eGo too. I have, although, heard a lot of positive things about the battery life, etc. Either way is a 'win' in my opinion...
