  1. From what I've noticed when it comes to CE-2 style cartomizers, (and all of the versions of them that are available) is that you either love em or hate em! I would just guess it is maybe around 50/50 on people liking the CE2's.... and that's being generous I think. I know I'm not alone when saying that for me they never tasted right and I would take 2-3 good drags and get the wonderful 'dry hit' that we all adore. Many a vaping folk has said the exact same things... "dry hits, piss-poor wicking ability (unless you mod each CE2), and overall sub-par performance for the most part". I tried multiple different versions on multiple devices and every time I ended up with the same lack-luster performance from them. I quickly gave up on those... especially since I knew I didn't have the patience to mod every freakin' carto just so it might perform half-assed! I will say this though... I'm stoked that they work right out of the box for some people with no problems... but I have a hunch that those individuals are likely in the minority. I have a feeling that the main reason they work for some and not for others is that we all have totally different 'vaping styles'... some of us chain vape like crazy, while others vape a few puffs and set it down until they are ready again. As for me... I fall in the 'chain vaping' category... and that is where the CE2 simply struggles to keep up with the necessary wicking.
  2. And also something about the switch being able to handle 2 or 3 amps? I forget the exact number at this moment in time... too damn early in the morning for me to have a fully functioning brain! I'm guessing those bad boys put quite a load on the PV they are being used on!
  3. Alright all you peeps with the Liquinators... please advise this incapable SOB as to why the hell I keep ending up getting these 'dry/harsh hits' after about 10 or so good ones?? I've literally slotted 10 or so cartos in slightly different ways trying to find what would work the best. Anywhere from a single slot all the way up to multiple ones, etc. Each time its the same ol thing... get it all put together, start vaping on it and its fine for like 10-15 minutes, then the dreaded 'dry/harsh vape' that that just wrecks my throat! I'm frustrated as hell watching all these happy videos about the 'GREAT/WONDERFUL' experiences everyone is having with them and couldn't be happier! WTF man? I'm not a complete incompetent loser when it comes to running a freakin' Dremmel for crying out loud. I also read that you "must be careful as to not cut too deep into the filler as it will render it much less absorbant." Please, anyone with advice it would be much appreciated! I'm at a loss right now... let me know what you know that I don't know!
  4. For sure, if it's the thicker VG stuff that hasn't been thinned out at all, thin it out and have a much better vaping experience! I've tried different ratios of PG/VG before in cartos, and it never failed, I always vaped faster than the stuff could soak in! Luckily, I much prefer PG over VG any day of the week, and don't have to worry about that now since I use 100% PG. Also, you will find that PG tends to carry the flavors better than VG for some reason, and also gives a much better 'throat hit' like we're used too. I just don't feel like I'm really getting a nice satisfying 'hit' when there is 50% or more VG in a juice. By the way, the easiest way I found to fill cartos is to put a 'carto condom' on the threaded end, then drip several drops on to the filler and shake it like you would an old style glass thermometer. Repeat steps until carto is full and the juice doesn't soak in to the filler anymore!
  5. So, the single coil is at the bottom, and the dual coils only cover the middle of the carto? I guess it makes sense that the triples will now cover the top/middle/bottom with 3 coils! But, from my experience w/ the duals, they simply get too hot too fast. So are these triples going to get even hotter than the duals? Does anyone offer the duals in different ohm ratings? It seems like I've only seen them offered one way? Someone please clue me in as to why they aren't available in multiple ratings. And for the love of God... why can't Boge be the ones coming out with all the new cartomizer versions?? Man, I get so sick of trying out these 'new/improved' cartos, only to find that they suck and/or leak like crazy all over the place!! We all know that not all cartos are created equal... obviously Boge needs to share the secret, it can't be that freakin' difficult to make a LESS LEAKY/WORKING cartomizer!
  6. I'm with Brian on this one... I don't even care for the dual coils, so it's doubtful I would like the TRIPLE COILS !
  7. I have not tried them... just can't see spending that kind of money on a box of cartos!
  8. Steppin' it up a notch! My link
  9. You hang in there!!
  10. Great information Sharon... I can think of a few people off the top of my head that could benefit from all of this great stuff! Again, nice find!
  11. At least you got a chuckle from it....
  12. I cannot wait to see what others think either! Talk about a laundry list of FEATURES! Craziness I tell ya. Although, I would probably need to have the instruction manual in my back pocket for the first month or so! I'm with you though Chris... I wouldn't mind seeing a bit smaller version as well. And $300.00!?! YIKES!!
  13. AW's are where it's at anyway!
  14. Indeed they do work on the eGo... Here is where I typically get them... since Chris is usually sold out. Cartomizers
  15. After trying MANY different brands... I'm STILL set and liking the 'Boge Cartos' (2.0/LR/silver threads in particular)!
  16. WINNING!! (sorry Blake... I know I should have made this post longer for the good of the forum... MY BAD.)
  17. I actually took one and made multiple cuts in one... no different.
  18. You should really have Jason from electronicstix have it etched on your mod! Really pretty cheap and well done I've seen!
  19. Once again... it doesn't wick my 100% PG juice fast enough!! It simply doesn't keep up with my vaping!!
  20. There are PLENTY of 'vendors' to stay away from... please ask questions before you take the plunge!
  21. Another great review!! Nice mod ... I grabbed up one of those smallish voltage meters from COV that reads under load as well... great investment for anyone really IN to vaping! Heck, half the time I find myself leaving it on so I can see where my battery level is whilst vaping.
  22. Keep me out of this you douchebag!
  23. Yes, you will be dripping quite alot. They really go through the juice!
  24. Trust me... you will not be disappointed in the performance of the High Drain's! They are all I use.. a huge difference. You get that 'fresh off the charger' experience for the entire time until it needs charged. The trade off is the lower ohm rating and shorter time between charges. But I can certainly deal with that... you just know to have more than one at the ready.
