A Pbusardo Review - The Italian Festival With Freedom Smoke Usa
DAYVAPE replied to PBusardo's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
You be much braver than I to use up my precious Boge LR's for random 'crap-juice'!! (unless they are coming to you free of charge, to waste on 'savory flavors', from your friends at BogeTech) I do however... thank you for the entertainment on your behalf! -
I've never had that experience... even after hundreds of cartos. Make sure your juice is more PG than VG.... like Chris said. May I ask... what kind/brand of carto are you using?
-
Neither one is 'the best' IMO. But Cartomizers are 'better'... offering user the ease of usage and time between refilling/dripping, etc. And, for me, I actually get better flavor/vapor than with an atomizer. I think other carto users would agree as well, Christopher? Also, if you are a 3.7 volt vaper... then you must try 'Boge LR cartos'! They really work like a champ!

That's plain silly! Not even I would be so foolish to mess around with that POISON to save money!!
-
It also dilutes fairly well in PG only. Once ran under warm water for 30 seconds you are good to go.
-
Are they the standard or low resistance (LR) cartos you got? The standards wont put out as much vapor as the LR's... but should still work though.... just not plumes like the others. I'd go with the Boge LR cartos like Brian has linked you too. http://www.electroni...BLACK-p252.html
-
Sounds like you got sent KR808 cartos instead. They do work great with an adapter though! It's not a total waste... just pick up an adapter for them to work on your 510.
-
It was quite obvious to me that there would soon be multiple variations on this tank system. I have not seen the one from electronicstix as of yet... but my understanding is that it doesn't twist and turn nearly as easily on the carto itself. I'm not saying that one is better than the other... just stating that small difference. It's gonna happen no matter what... people will constantly use others ideas and do their own thing. That's just life... as unfair as it may be! @king - PLEASE NOTE - While the manufacturers of polycarbonate tubing advertise it as being unbreakable we have had three tanks "frost" and shatter due to other peoples eliquids. We have had no problems. While no one is really sure what causes this problem it is very rare and only with certain liquids. It could be due to essential oils, high ph, or many other things, but again no one really knows.
-
I would not mix it with water, no. If anything, I would use PG.
-
Sounds like quite the businessman! On another note... why don't you just order your Liquidxpress juice from Liquidxpress.com instead of Dietsmokes???
-
Have a great day el jefe !

100% VG is no good in cartomizers, way too thick... you really need a blend of VG/PG so it will work properly.

Lab Results/ Lipid Panel After 6 Months Vaping
DAYVAPE replied to AARONH's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
So, I have had to get multiple blood tests done this past year due to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other wacky numbers. I was even on blood pressure meds and cholesterol lowering drugs for the past few years as well (while I was smoking analogs). Well, I just went to the Doc yesterday and went over my most recent labs... and found that EVERYTHING is back down into the 'normal' ranges! The fact that my blood pressure and cholesterol are normal now w/o any meds for the past few months is quite a relief... even with my heavy vaping habit! Unfortunately, I can't say one way or another, what effects vaping has had on these results . Either way, I'm going to keep doing exactly what I've been doing lately... because evidently chain-vaping 12mg nicotine ALL DAY long isn't increasing my BP at all! MORAL OF MY STORY: Quitting smoking is obviously one of the best things we can do for our overall health... and for me, my vaping has not affected me in a negative way at all, so I will continue to KEEP ON VAPING! -

A Pbusardo Tutorial - How I Clean My Smoktech Clear Cartos
DAYVAPE replied to PBusardo's topic in General Vaping Discussion
The only thing I don't care for with clearos is that they tend to leak like crazy !! It's such a fine line with the amount of juice they hold before it just starts coming out the bottom. Hopefully they come up with a way to help with that. On another note: I noticed you had you Rev. V2 with you. I found what works really well for me... I've been using the 'Boge LR KR808' cartomizers (HERE) with an adapter to screw in to the 510 connection on the device. Then I slip a Empire 'drip shield' over the entire thing and down all the way. I have had no leakage at all and it works like a champ. Plus, I'm actually liking these KR cartos MUCH better than the Boge 510 LR's... and I was pretty fond of those before! Also, I'm guessing you have a tube in your bottle, correct? This makes filling much easier ... just some thoughts for ya! And I also picked up some of these and I have been super happy with the way they perform! GREAT CARTOS! Even though they aren't LR, they actually last much longer because they aren't getting quite so hot. I have been using them on my Silver Bullet and have been really liking them! Also work great with warmer vapor at 5 volts! -
I get PLUMES of vapor with my 100% PG juices. I take a nice long drag all into my mouth then inhale it in to my lungs. I still have a lot of vapor upon the exhale. Now if you hold it in for a long time it will certainly be much less. You could always add some VG to it for extra vapor production... although it may weaken your flavors considerably.
-
I take it you missed the 'no cinnamon' memo that day huh? Seriously though... how often do you have to close off the air inlets to suck juice in to the carto? It's kind of getting to be a pain in my having to do that after every 8-10 drags or so! I have yet to have a single carto actually wick the juice in by itself... I've had to 'help' them all with that little trick.

Sorry, but I think she might be yanking your chain a bit! There's no way in hell that her 'chest hurts worse now than it did when she was a chain smoker'... I simply do not believe that to be the truth at all! Ask anyone of us, and we will tell you how our lungs cleared out all the tar and crap that had settled in them, leaving us feeling much better than before. I just think that statement was rubbish in all honestly... it's not even smoke hitting our lungs now, it's basically just PG/VG/Nic in whatever ratios. You can't tell me that's worse for me than the crap I was putting in them when I smoked? The majority of us are also 'chain vapers', mainly because we can vape pretty much anywhere now! You would also find that the MANY of us sit in front of our computers for extended periods of time, usually with a PV in hand, and countless other 'MODS' sitting around on the desk with different setups! That is what is so great about vaping... all the wonderful choices we have!

The Mings DEFINITELY feel much better between the lips than the Pawns do... at least I think they do! The early run of Mings had breaking issues... and then the following run had fitment issues! I had emailed them about some of mine that broke right by the o-ring to see what I could do with them... and she sent me the 'new' Mings to try out. So far the couple that she sent me have been working great. I've had no fitment issues or breaking as I did with earlier versions. Although, I did discover that the one's I have do NOT fit Cisco atomizers, as his are smaller than the standard ones. I would have to agree though that dripping in them alone pretty much sucks unless you give it a small blow to push the juice on through. Coupled with the fact that it's quite tall overall, the dang center hole is also pretty small! So, I often just find myself just pulling it off and adding my juice as needed... thats just what works best most of the time for me.

Has anyone seen the '3ml J-Tank' that Jason has over at Electronicstix ?? Exact same concept using the slotted cartos. "J-TANK" I like the fact that his fits nice and tight on the carto though... the Liquinator's tank fits way too loose IMO! I am always adjusting the thing because it moves with the slightest little bump/touch. I often find juice leaking from the bottom past the o-ring because of this fitment issue. From the sounds of it, the 'J-Tank' can't possibly leak since it fits like it does... and I like the sounds of that a lot. Of course it's just my luck... 1 week after I buy the Liquinator, I see the one that Jason has! For the price though ($20 for tank only), I think I will go ahead and grab his up too when the next batch comes in. (they will also be PolyCarbonate instead of acrylic he says) Rumor is he is also going to have a 5ml tank version and one for the longer/mega style cartos... pretty much all of the ones like the Liquinator has available.
-
Like this: My link Has anyone tried these yet? I ordered a couple to try... can't beat the price on them! I've seen a lot of positive reviews so far.
-
You also might consider the 'USB eGo'. That way you can sit at your computer and vape while plugged in... then unplug and use on the go for several hours on one charge! Just a thought. Many places sell them these days... and for $20 that's a good deal, especially if you are around a computer most of the time anyway. For example: Ego Pass-Thru

EXACTLY! I finally figured out the same thing... slide the tank down to block the air inlet and give it a couple of good pulls! Fills that carto up like a champ now! What I don't get is why am I one of those that has to do this to draw in liquid? I guess some people aren't required to do this step as there cartos stay wet enough on their own. After cutting up 10 different cartos you would think one of them would work like it's supposed too! Anyway, I'm still diggin' this tank w/ the LR Boge cartos though... and now I know I can at least get liquid where it needs to be! I highly recommend this to anyone who already enjoys cartomizers... it makes life a lot easier when it comes to keeping the filler material nice and wet. Man, I sure am glad I didn't throw in the towel on this, after I sat and thought it through it now works great! I actually talked to James from Vaporescence on the phone and he couldn't figure out for the life of him why it wasn't working for me. I had done everything exactly as I was supposed to do when setting it up but it would NOT soak up any juice from the tank. And even the one they sent out with it that was already cut didn't pull in anything! Evidently others don't have any issues with it working because all I was finding and hearing was 'how great it works, etc'. Either way, I guess I'm now satisfied w/ the Liquinator, especially since I know what I need to do for it to work for me. It's certainly much easier/quicker than popping off a drip tip and 'topping off' all the time! Thanks for the advice though kingbtheone... at least I know I'm not the only one that has to do this to 'juice up' their carto. Hell, I just assumed that the filler was supposed work as a wick and draw in the liquid in, had no idea I needed to do 'suck it in'! I searched high and low online for tips on how to use it and could only find a few videos out there. And they were all of people praising the thing... not how to make it work! By the way, I cut my own cartos with a dremmel and it works like a champ! Oh, and it only needs two small slots on each side of the carto, ask me how I know! I finally got pissed off enough that I took one and slotted that baby to pieces... and it still didn't work. All it really takes is two little slits that are about 1/4" long each... until you can just barely see filler. (If you use high VG juices you may need larger slots though so it can penetrate.) Then, I take a dental pick and just make sure there aren't any small bits left floating around, and make sure the filler isn't blocked off. If you aren't careful with a dremmel, and you take too long cutting the slot, you can get it too hot and it will actually 'scorch' the filler and nothing will be able to pass through. You want to make the cut as fast and clean as possible and it will be fine. I would guess a hacksaw would work as well then you wouldn't need to worry about getting it too hot since it's not nearly as high speed as a dremmel wheel. The dremmel is just a lot more fun than using a hacksaw though... so that was the route it chose. All in all... this 'tank' is a GREAT investment IF you are a carto user/fan!

Looks like a mighty fine list you got going there! (especially the 'Boge Cartos' if I don't say so myself!) If I had to pick one thing on that list that jumps out at me screaming "NOOO, DON'T BUY ME!", I would say with certainty the ''GotVapes VISION Clear Giant 3.5ml 510 Cartomizer 1 Piece - $8.95'' Say what... $8.95... per cartomizer... say it isn't so?? I personally would want to make damn certain those perform as they are supposed too, and better than anything I've ever tried, before dropping that much a single carto... but that's just me. Oh, and I do know that the clear versions of cartos are definitely much weaker and apt to crack on you. I'm not knocking Gotvapes here... this is simply my 2 cents: In my opinion, sometimes they have a clever way of coming out with all these crazy/cool 'next best thing in the e-cig world' parts that look totally awesome! But, I feel like there are a lot of people drawn in to that and end up making some impulse buy and later regretting their purchase simply because it didn't live up to what it was supposed to do. Trust me... I've seen a lot of their 'wacky/cool' products that nearly had me pushing the 'Add to Cart' button more than once! Only to find out a few weeks later on someones video review that whatever it was doesn't perform as stated at all! All I'm saying here is to remember 'buyer beware' sometimes if you haven't seen or read a bunch of positive reviews from others about the product. On the other hand, you just never know, they might work like a champ and you will come back happy as hell about something and talking us all in to getting it too! In that case... heck yeah, buy one of everything and come back and give me a detailed report on each item. Would that be cool with you?
