  1. So, you say you are using it with a carto... do you have any problems with flooding or choking the carto? How well is the juice delivered? I didn't notice anywhere on this website that it said to use with cartos. http://dripondemand.com/
  2. Ditto what Kingbtheone said already!! BOGE 2.0 LR CARTOS!
  3. We all also learned very quickly (well most of us) that standard CARTS are not the best juice delivery method!
  4. That would be the first red flag for me... only one vendor. I just don't see how it's possible to get that much out of that size a battery. But, please, let us know what you get! Check these "14505" batteries out... they actually say '2400 mAh' on them!! Although they are 'single use'... could they honestly be '2400 mAh'?? http://cgi.ebay.com/...a#ht_1154wt_825
  5. Try cartomizers instead of standard carts. 100 times better. But you may need to grab a eGo battery if you don't have one...
  6. The ones I'm seeing offer 600 mAh... meaning 1200 mAh if you are using two. Is that what you mean?? And they aren't exactly the same size.... the 14505 would be .5mm bigger if I'm not mistaken. Better make sure that will work for you. http://www.megabatte...15581&cat_id=51
  7. What TroopX meant to say was that he 'kicked the habit with ease once he bought an eGo and some LR cartomizers.'
  8. I could be that the center pins of the carto and battery are not making contact? Try gently prying them up and see if that helps...
  9. It's great to hear your success story! Keep it up!
  10. Wow, I hadn't heard... that's not a very good start to have. Any word on what the problem was/is?
  11. Yeah, it drives me crazy not knowing my nic level! Everyone seems to have a different opinion of what 'low, medium, and high' means anyway! Vendors should ALWAYS have us pick our exact nic strength. Just like I think that we should be able to select the exact PG/VG ratio as well... we all prefer different things for different reasons when it comes to our juices. By the way... I appreciate your honesty when it comes to your reviews. It's nice to know you don't just give them positive reviews because they sent you the stuff for free. Honesty is the best policy!!
  12. You know you always do Jeff... don't try and fool everyone here!!
  13. It most certainly does affect the taste! I found that, for me, anything over about 12mg and I could really taste the nic. It can be a pretty harsh taste too... depending alot on the nic that is being used. You just need to try different levels and see what works/tastes best to you. The other main thing affecting taste is the PG/VG content. PG tends to carry flavors better... and VG tends to mute them a bit.
  14. Depends what I'm using... Cartomizers = 100% PG Drippin' Atty = 80/20 - PG/VG
  15. Does anyone else have any problem with the juice keeping the carto saturated enough? I find that I have to slide the tank down to block the air inlets, then draw on it several times w/o firing, for the filler material to get enough juice. I just think that I must be doing something wrong that's not letting the juice draw in freely as it should. What is the best way to fill/setup the carto tank for them to wick w/o having to 'suck' juice in to them?? Any help greatly appreciated !!
  16. I gotta check out that Mantis ! Looks really sweet man! Congrats on everything!
  17. Excellent ! Nice find Noxy! Here it is with it's creator...
  18. It seems that the majority of folks know what's best... LR CARTOS, FTW!
  19. I think you will find, as many of us have, that the craving for a real cigarette fades very quickly. Once you find your vaping 'happy place' it's a breeze from that point on. I mean really, do you honestly crave the smell/taste of a stale ashtray for cryin' out loud? For me... the flavors of the juices are so much better tasting/smelling than the real thing that it made the switch super easy and painless! We are still getting our nicotine with vaping... then throw in the wonderful juices out there and you have yourself a recipe for a huge success in quitting those nasty analogs!! I never knew how easy it would be until I found that one juice that I truly enjoyed vaping... that device that performed like I needed one too (more like multiple devices!)... after that, the thought of having an analog ceased to enter my mind.
  20. I'm fairly certain that most Darwin owners will continue to vape that beast in a closet in their basement! Is there an uglier mod in existence at this current time?? That thing is bigger than my remote for my entertainment center! They look really funny when someone has a long Gooseneck attached to it... makes it like 24" long or something I think! No, I know... maybe is was designed to double as a weapon for unexpected late-night intruders!
  21. Then you toss that carto and fill a new one to enjoy for several more days! As we know... they are meant to be disposable anyway.
  22. Oh, and one other thing that bothers me is the fact that you better have the right number of drops in an atty, or you will have juice leaking all over. 1 or 2 drops too many and it starts leaking... 1 or 2 drops too few and it tastes like crap. (of course I also use all PG which is very thin... but is more flavorful than VG. I won't do VG or even a 50/50 blend to slow leaking... because I hate VG with a passion now that all I vape is PG.) With cartos, for me, there is really no guesswork involved... once you have them filled you don't have to worry about getting that harsh/dry hit you can with attys. It's much more gradual with cartos... once you notice them getting weaker then you know it's time to top-off with juice. To hell with counting drops and wondering if it's going to leak... or hoping I didn't put a drop or two more than it's capable of 'storing', etc. Atomizers are just finicky about these certain things that cartos simply are not. (IMHO) I will use an atty every now and again to test juices, etc... and I am reminded every time about how much less hassle my cartos are. It may be that I just don't know what I'm doing when using attys... but all I DO know is that cartos have great flavor/vapor/throat hit that is very easy to maintain. And once they starting getting a bit old I toss it and grab a new one! Nothing beats that 'new carto taste' either!
