  1. Maybe you should try some that actually don't suck? Not to mention at $15 per 5 it's a ripoff...
  2. Pretty much the same thing for a week or so... then I will switch it up to something else for another week or so. I only really have 5 that I prefer to stick with anyway... which is fine with me. I've tried sooo many different things it was becoming confusing as to what I was vaping!
  3. Yeah, I'll have to add some VG to my stuff... what ratio do you use? As much as I don't like/want to... at least with those cartos the filler is not so tight, and the PG/VG mixes will work much better. Now I gotta go buy me some VG!
  4. I told ya so! They are pretty nice, eh? The only thing I dont like is that they have a tendency to leak more than regular cartos! I'm going to try these out and see what they are all about... I like that I can pick between 3 different ohm ratings! http://www.avidvaper...10-cartomizers/
  5. I would certainly give it a shot... especially if you are wanting the best flavor from your juices. VG definitely mutes them... at least from what I've experienced making my own juices, etc. You've nothing to loose really... try it, you might like it.
  6. What brand of cartos were they ? I've not had a single bad carto... and trust me, I've used a bunch of Boge LR cartos!
  7. Altsmoke makes the Silver Bullet ... and they have a bunch of colors now! http://altsmoke.com/...lverbullet.html Variable voltage is nice... I have a VV Saber Touch and to be honest I only use my 3.7 v devices with LR cartos... so VV isn't really necessary for me! Also, I'm not a fan of battery stacking anyway... not that they would blow up, just not the safest thing to do. I have just settled in happily with 3.7v and LR.
  8. Exactly! Grab up an eGo kit, some cartomizers, an atty or two, and some juice! That right there is a wonderful start into vaping. I would honestly start with 16mg... simply because you will be vaping more than you smoke in the beginning. And, people often experience coughing when trying to vape, and I think alot of that is due to the nic strength / taste. Because you can certainly taste the nicotine in many of the juices. I started off with 18-24 mg and it ended up being too high and effecting the flavor of my juices... besides not being necessary anyway. http://www.vaportalk...s/Joye-eGo.html http://www.vaportalk...artomizer-.html http://www.vaportalk...ories/e-Liquid/
  9. A quick thanks to Bob over at Vaporsupplies.com ... since that is where I discovered this originally. I just thought it was a pretty cool breakdown and description of everything cartomizer! Check it out... Cartomizer, also named atomized cartridge, is a two-in-one device with a combined function of both atomizer and cartridge. That means with cartomizer, an e-cig reduces from three parts (battery, atomizer, cartridge) into two parts (battery and cartomizer). You do not need to use a cartridge to hold the e-juice, but only to refill the e-juice into the cartomizer. Why to choose? Compared with atomizers, cartomizer is: *Two-in-one design, simpler and cleaner *Rather cheaper in price *Fairly larger in capacity How to choose?
  10. How long has it 'steeped' ? I know many juices can start off horrible... then after time you can go back to it and be very pleased with how it tastes. I guess what I'm saying is... don't trash it just yet. There is still hope.
  11. Probably PGA... that would be my guess... and what many people use to add that 'kick' you are speaking of.
  12. You will not find a more tried and true device than the Silver Bullet... that's pretty much a known fact. I love mine... I know it's going to fire EVERY time my finger pushes that button! Couple the SB with an AW High Drain 18650 (and Boge LR carto of course!) and you can't go wrong!
  13. Everyone knows me !! Of course... I'm always 'etiquette' when it comes to vaping! I just hope, we as vapers, learn to not fear the public when it comes to using them around others... especially OUTDOORS around others! We aren't that nasty/smelly/scummy cigarette smoker that we used to be when we were basically shunned as we smoked. Come on folks... there's absolutely nothing to hide or worry about here... nor is it illegal to use in public ! Besides, there's nothing offensive about them at all that I can come up with. The only thing you would need to worry about, is if you can explain it to those interested.. because thats usually what ends up happening, you have to tell everyone what it is because they are curious! What's the worst that might happen then... you turn on another analog smoker to the greatness of vaping and the electronic cigarette age?? I don't see that as a bad deal at all peeps! 'VAPE ON/VAPE PROUD!'
  14. Be aware... I also think that Vanilla is one of those that uses 'essential oils', kinda like Cinnamon I believe. Might check with the supplier... Those are notoriously hard on attys/cartos, etc... Just a thought.
  15. I would ask the vendor and do as they say... after all, they should know their juice better than anyone else. Some juices require it... and some simply do not. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you asking them if they don't already state it on the website.
  16. Yeah, don't buy pre-filled cartos... always fill them yourself. It's really easy anyway... and then all you need to do is 'top-off' every once in a while and you are good to go! They are all many people use... just make sure they are good ones, such as the Boge Cartos. Tanks are ok... but I really dont think they deliver any better than cartos... in fact tasted/performed poorly for me. Obviously, some folks use them... just try it all and then decide which you prefer.
  17. Also, give some 'Boge LR 2.0 Cartomizers' a go... you won't be disappointed in them if you like stock carts. If you are... I'll buy them off of you, lol.
  18. Well, if you think your VG juices have great flavor... you should consider a mix of PG/VG. VG for sure mutes flavors, etc. in juices. PG is actually known to carry the flavors better in most cases. For me, since I only use cartomizers, I use 100% PG... it not only wicks the best since its thinner, it also tastes the best/strongest! It has a great 'throat hit', as well as plenty enough vapor for me. Besides, I would MUCH rather have the better/stronger flavor, over amount of vapor any day. All I'm saying is you should definitely give PG a fair shot and see... you may even like the way it performs better in your devices... especially when it comes to wicking ability and flavor delivery. It's also known not to be so hard on attys/cartos ... and they just seem to last longer with the PG juices. Just my .02! VAPE ON!
  19. You will most certainly notice a difference between 24mg and 12mg ... anything over 12mg and I can really taste the nastiness of the nic. I settled in happily with 12mg now... and the flavors seem much better.
  20. Taking a long slow pull into the mouth and then in to your lungs is certainly the way to go. The coughing should get better... or you may find that the level of nic needs lowered, could be several things. Give it some time... and 'keep those cartos wet' ! Add just enough juice that you see it start to pool... but don't flood the thing either. I like taking a good 10-15 drags and then 'topping off' with liquid before the next go.
  21. Yeah, the novelty of the clear tube wears off fairly fast, especially once they start leaking... and they pretty much all leak if bumped/dropped! Besides, it doesn't take long for them to look all brown and nasty... no thanks! It's very easy to tell when you need to top off a carto anyway... there's really no need to see the juice.
  22. And I think everyone should have a 'Silver Bullet' in their arsenal at some point... tried and true mod for sure!
  23. The Boge's are vertical coil... meaning they run the length of the carto. The horizontal coil is simply a small coil placed at the bottom of the carto. Hope that makes sense!
