  1. Don't have any links off the top of my head... but I would bet that if you went to You Tube and did a search for 'wrapping a new coil' you would find many different videos out there!
  2. Also... you can draw in too much liquid simply by 'pulling on it' too hard and fast. Try to lighten up on your inhale and see if that helps. I know that I have, in the past, taken a harder inhale than was necessary and flooding the thing. After all... it's that negative pressure that we create when taking a drag that also pulls more juice to the coil. Just try changing up your inhale strength/speed/etc. You may want to take the head out and blow it out so you can start fresh. Just a thought.
  3. As I'm sure some of you have already tried out this new tank... from Nhaler.com? Well... let me just say this about it: (and I'm not usually one to talk up many things.) This thing honestly kicks some serious buttocks ! I have tried MANY a tank over time as they came out... some were good and some weren't so good. I can truly say that these two I ordered and started using yesterday are performing flawlessly so far. Everything just works like it should... and I haven't really ever grown to just 'love' a certain tank before now... but this is a game changer for me for sure! Those little dual coil heads really chuck out the vapor my friends! And they certainly won't break the bank at $10 a piece... including 1 head installed. Then a 5-pack of heads is around $13 a believe. Really can't go wrong I don't think. The good ol' 'PeteBusardo' was certainly speaking the truth in his review of it . They will also be coming out with different heads with different ohm ratings. And I would also think that some sort of glass tank will soon be available as well. They aren't the most great looking... but their performance far out ways that issue! Pretty much a cheap looking Vivi Nova tank! But it works like no other 'Vivi Nova' tank with that extra coil ! Carry on folks!
  4. I doubt this is it... but could one possibly be '70 VG and 30 PG'... and the other '70 PG and 30 VG'?? One is obviously thinner than the other... therefore leaking more easily. By the way... what exactly are you using here? What type of 'clearo' is it? That might help narrow the problem down. Otherwise, these tank type devices are really touchy when it comes to that type of thing if the proper airflow coming in isn't right... causing more liquid to be pulled in then what is needed. This can be caused by how it was assembled in the factory or even how it fits on the device you are using. There are several things that need to be right before the perfect amount of juice is being drawn in.
  5. I may be different than others here... but I actually don't think starting with a cheap/disposable/gas station e-cig is a smart choice. Afterall, the first experience the person is likely going to have is an unpleasant one. Why not increase the odds of a 'great first vape' by using our knowledge of these products and start them off with something better/decent?? I mean really... a 'bottom coil tank', or something similar, and a decent battery to pair with it... doesn't really cost all that much these days. If I were just starting... I would be thrilled if the very first thing I vaped was a 'BCC clearo' and an 'eGo-type' battery! Not that the little 'cig-a-like' batts don't have their place... but it may just not be the very 'best' thing to offer to someone that we are really actually trying to impress with this thing we call 'electronic cigarettes and vaping'. Just my .02 cents on it.
  6. Ah... the glorious 'Penstyle 801'... I remember thinking to myself that it was a freakin' vapor makin' machine too! Then quickly to the Joye 510's, 901's, and eGo's. After the first year or 2 of vaping the mod's finally hit the scene. Glad we aren't living in those days anymore to be honest... those darn 801 atty's always leaked on me too if the slightest over-dripping occurred. I still remember watching Chris and his sidekick Sean doing the videoss of all those 'amazing' atomizers too! I think those were some of the very 1st YouTube videos that I watched about e-cigs. That was freakin' some funny stuff right there! It's too bad you two didn't last too long before going your separate ways... it was certainly entertaining stuff that made me laugh every time I watched one. Those days are sadly missed by many of us that were here in the beginning Chris... as I'm sure others would agree! Sorry Chris.. but I gotta do it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7p3icoWKQI&list=PL898EBC7A25B5C6A0
  7. As long as you are using fairly similar juices it really isn't a big deal. So, if you are just switching from one fruity type liquid to another... then I certainly wouldn't worry about cleaning it. But, if you are going to switch from something that is totally different then you could certainly clean it. A simple blow through it into a vapor towel is really good enough when switching flavors. The best thing to do is to have one atty that is dedicated to your fruity type vapes... and another dedicated to your tobacco types... etc. I mainly vape fruit flavors w/ menthol... so I mix and vape all the time. I often discover things that end up tasting great together!
  8. So have you guys tried the 'nano micro coil' in one of these heads? They sure look like they work amazingly well in the videos by 'Rip Trippers' ! 12 freakin' wraps.. that's just nuts! The concept sure seems like it would work... I mean we've been using the same coils in all of the normal atomizers for years... just like the ones in the HH 357's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIoH-mOXKsc&feature=c4-overview&list=UUgZd5ygXFoQry9KDGlddSBg
  9. I've been wanting one of these for a while now... Provari Tatroe End Cap http://www.cigtechs.com/Provari-Tatroe-End-Cap-_p_382.html
  10. I have a couple of the black Orbtronic 18650's ( 2900 mAh / 10 AMP / High Drain ) and they totally blow the red 2000 mAh AW's and the grey Panasonics away... comparing them to each other in a Vamo V3 set at 9 watts. It wasn't even a close one... the Orb's lasted nearly twice as long for me! Just my .02 on that... I will definitely be ordering some more Orbtronics in the near future!
  11. I can say with confidence that the Volt is a really good 'cig-a-like' model. I bought a 2-battery kit for a friend to see if he was ready to get serious about quitting... and he has really done well with it. I tried it out for a few days before handing it over to him... and from what I could tell for those few days it really was a satisfying vape. I had no issues at all with it. Someone did mention a great point however... and that is that the cartos that the Volt uses really needs to have a higher PG content than the VG. The VG is simply too thick and slows the wicking down greatly. So, if you haven't already picked something up... I thought I'd throw my .02 in on the Volt.
  12. I couldn't agree more with that statement! I did some work for a lady one time and she proceeded to show me her 'little pet'. It was a 4-foot Iguana that she had raised since it was a baby. Well, it eventually got too big and too aggressive... and she had little kids around. So, she ended up giving it and the 120 gallon enclosure to me so she didn't have to take care of it anymore. It was quite old by then.. and all it could do in a 120g rectangular tank was lay on it's perch... but it did live for another 5-6 years with me until it finally died... just old age I think. People just don't realize how large some of these animals will end up getting... and then once they can't care properly for them they usually get pawned off on to someone else or simply not cared for properly anymore. All animals are 'cute' when they are babies... but please do your homework before you make a purchase! These critters need to be living in a place where they will be cared for to the fullest extent!
  13. I have had a couple HH atties... and while I do agree that they are probably the best atty out there right now... the $25 price tag is just hard for me to swallow. I also use the 1.5 ohm Empire atty on a daily basis... and at $6 a piece they really are a great performing atty. Granted... it's no HH 357... but it's hard for me to say that the HH is worth the extra $20 a pop. I still get great flavor and longevity out of the Empire atty's as well. And since an attty just simply won't last forever... I find myself using the cheaper ones more often. I have actually used my HH attys for so long that there isn't anything that will work to 'clean' that coil anymore. It's just been used too long for that. Don't get me wrong... I still agree that the HH is superior to all others. I just wish the price was a tad lower so I could justify using one all the time. (I drip on a daily basis... all day/every day).
  14. I don't believe it's 'top or bottom fed' per se... actually... I'm fairly certain it's a 'top filled' and 'bottom coil heated' unit. Maybe there are dual coils or something in the new design of the atomizer it uses... I don't know for sure.
  15. Yeah... that dumbbitch needs slapped down a notch! She is super annoying in a matter of seconds! And... she's so full of nonsense it's funny!
  16. Well... I certainly hope you find a solution to your issues with the device. It almost sounds too good to be true for a second... the under $40.00 was the part that shocked me the most! Could it possibly end up being one of those deals where you 'get what you pay for' type of thing? I hope not for your sake...
  17. MANY people will recommend a eGo kit to new vapers. The problem is... I don't think that is an actual Joye eGo. There are MANY knock-offs of the real thing since it does have a good reputation in the e-cig market. It may still suit your needs just fine and work for a long time. I'm simply pointing out what looks to be the case with the one you linked.
  18. I really like the Volt e-cig to take with me if I hit a bar or something. I bought one of the kits for a friend that wanted me to help him get started vaping.... and he had already tried a Blu and was terribly unhappy with it on every level. Once he tried the Volt he instantly said to me that it was 'totally different than the Blu he had bought and tried, etc.' They have pretty good battery life... and you can buy the cartos pre-filled if you want... but it's extremely easy to carry a bottle of your favorite juice to top off when needed. And you can do that a lot before you need to toss em for a new one. Just a thought. http://smokelessimage.com/starter-kits/voltstand.html
  19. Well... I wouldn't recommend a Blu e-cig to anyone !! Period!
  20. I've tried many different devices... from carto tanks to bottom coil clearos to whatever else. And I STILL always end up back where I started with what simply tastes the BEST of all other options... and that is DIRECT DRIPPING! ( Not to mention it is basically the easiest way to vape as well.) I don't know why I even waste my money thinking that the latest new thing is going to be THAT much better... because it never is!
  21. Only 8 ? LOL.
  22. Yeah... 'the walls shook'... give me an f'n break already! LMAO!
  23. TFA = 'The Flavor Apprentice' Oh... and the remaining percentages are comprised of your PG/VG and nic base...
  24. Note to self: Continue to resist the temptation to purchase cheap/crap/knock-off clones from Fast-tech!
  25. No... it's on Scott's (Igetcha69) site... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iXxVT5ylMA
