  1. Dude, that Challenger is f'n sick I tell ya!
  2. And trust me Uma, the experience is even BETTER with a drip shield, you must get one soon! As of late, I have been rockin' 901's and 510's on my new Lava Tube, and I am about to be converted back to attys from cartos I have a feeling! NO mess, and no such thing as over-dripping anymore, the drip shield is a game changer I tell ya!
  3. Honestly, I would recommend using a blend of VG/PG, somewhere around 50/50 seems to be popular. Then, since the cartos stay nice and wet all the time, they will last a lot longer than if you used one the usual way. I don't think it's uncommon for folks to have them in a tank for a week or more. There are a LOT of people using tanks now... so that says something to how effective they must be. Also, with the Infinity Pro being variable voltage, you will want to get the 3.0ohm cartos to go in the J-Tank... or at least around 3.0 ohms. 2.8-3.0 depending on what is available. Maybe someone with that device can chime in and say what type of carto works best on that device and in a tank?
  4. I did this just last night... I actually had it all installed on my mod, with drip shield... and right away I added 6 drops. I let that soak in all the way... and added 6 more. Then I took a drag without firing to see if I got a slight gurgling... I didn't so I added 3 drops and vaped away. Then, from that point forward, I vape until flavor/vapor starts decreasing then add 4-5 drops and vape away again. This may sound extreme in the amount of juice... but it's what works for me when I am using a drip shield. You really do want to keep LR attys nice and wet... and this is a really easy/great way to do it. Once you get the hang of it you can tell by sound when it's time to add more liquid. I'm back in heaven again with the 901 atomizer... I never thought I'd say that people!!
  5. I LOVE their LR de-bridged 901 attys! 901's are probably my favorite atty since there are now easy ways to use them... such as the wonderful drip shields. For me, they have the best of everything... flavor, vapor, etc. What device do you plan on using it with? If you are using an eGo like device, make sure it's of the 900+ mah rating, as I here they shorten their lifespan drastically. If you are using a 3.7v/510 mod you should be good to go. The only thing I would say is to get the correct adapter(s). I might also add that if I were you I would grab a 1.5 and 1.7ohm and see which you prefer... that is, if you haven't tried them before. http://www.empiremod...p/510-901ad.htm These are also really sweet too... I use them a lot when using attys to keep them from 'spitting' hot juice at me. With a drip tip on top of one of them it totally keeps that from happening. Of course they are out of stock right now... go figure! http://www.empiremod..._p/chrryuni.htm
  6. I bought some of these the other day and have been super happy with them... especially for the money! I then use a 510-510 sealed adapter, and a black Empire drip shield, and the thing looks sick! It's a perfect vaping setup honestly. https://ivape.net/sh...emart&Itemid=77
  7. I agree totally... it's a great VV unit!!
  8. To extremewattage: A 'cartomizer' is basically a cartridge and atomizer in one unit. There is a fiber-like material surrounding the heating coil... you must soak the filler material first and then you are ready to vape. It screws directly onto the eGo battery and you can put the cone over that. You then will need to just 'top-off' with juice when you notice flavor and vapor starting to decrease. With a new carto, I will typically vape on it for around 30 minutes, and then top off with 4-6 drops of liquid before I vape again. A drip tip is handy on cartomizers as well as atomizers... they help with keeping your lips cooler and with ease of 'direct dripping' with attys. (I remove the drip tip to 'top off' a carto though... they are more for comfort on cartos) With an atomizer, you will want to use a drip tip and 'direct drip' onto the heating coil. With a brand new atty, you will want to add 3-4 drops at first, let that soak in good and then add 3-4 more and then vape. You can then drip 3-4 drops to get a good 6-8 drags from your e-cig... or more depending on the juice you are using. (your mileage may vary obviously). You really should try both cartos and attys and just see which way you prefer to vape. I personally have been doing both lately... depending on where I'm at and what I'm doing. You will also want to try out some Boge 2.0 LR cartos and some Low Resistance atomizers.
  9. Nope, not bad for a 'knock-off' eGo kit ! Two 900 mah batts, two cones, two atomizers, a charger, and a carry case! Splendid!
  10. I think you will be pleased with the LT ! I'm quite picky about my mods and such... and I was very pleased with it. What you are getting for the price is simply hard to beat really. A variable voltage/boosting mod that does everything this one does is hard to come by for that price! Hell, I'm honestly thinking about ordering another one if a different color to have on hand! That's how much I like it. I was also surprised at it's size... I thought that it was going to be larger than it is after seeing reviews and such. But it is quite comfortable in the hand really. It does everything it's supposed to do... and at a really good price. Obviously it's no Provari... which is much better looking in my opinion, but the LT functions much like the Provari. I'll settle with the 'POOR-VARI' for now! Hope you like yours as much as I like mine!
  11. Are you talking about the drip tip part or the actual tank part?
  12. Whatever you do... don't even bother messing with the carts that it comes with. Skip those, and go straight to the Boge LR cartos, fill them yourself with your own juice and enjoy! Keep in mind, cartos need to stay nice and wet, so you do need to top them off with a few drops every once in a while for optimal performance. By the way, if you go with an eGo, you really should pick up some of the 'eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartos' too... they really do have great taste and vapor production to them! Not to mention they hold more juice than any other carto that I know of. You can get those here: http://www.madvapes....zer_p_3225.html You won't be disappointed with them! They take a lot of juice for the initial fill... then you just 'top-off' every now and again throughout the day. Also, I would recommend getting a drip tip for them, as the rubber ones are kinda big and funky. http://www.madvapes....oil_p_3254.html
  13. And with all VG in cartos you will find that you need to wait longer between blasts so that it has time to wick to the coil again. I know that a blend of 50/50 will work... but I can't hit it one after the other like I would if it were 100% PG. Just my thoughts anyway...
  14. You might want to seriously look into the Lava Tube as a VV mod. It really does seem to be a good investment for what you get. Just can't beat the price when compared to the Provari. And I'm not saying the Provari isn't a great mod, because it certainly is... I'm simply saying that the Lava Tube seems to be a great buy for a pretty darn nice VV device. It's also lighter than the Provari from what I've heard. I'm super happy with my LT purchase thus far!
  15. For what it is worth: I'm really liking the Lava Tube that I just got over the weekend! Hell, I might even go ahead and get a silver one too! Being able to fine tune each juice makes a huge difference in the overall taste, etc. I can notice a big difference in some juices after only dropping or upping the voltage one or two tenths!
  16. Who makes the flavorings that you got?? I've found that I much prefer the Perfumer's Apprentice flavors over the Lorann's or any other.
  17. I just noticed that we're up to 10,000 members now!!! Congrats Chris, for starting up a great meeting place!
  18. I agree.... probably not getting a good connection.
  19. I've heard pretty decent things about the Volt e-cigs: http://smokelessimag.../voltstand.html The nice thing about them is they offer a 'sealed auto battery' if that's what you are wanting. (I'd go with the largest/78mm one) Just make sure to buy at least a couple of packs of blank cartomizers and some liquid of your choice to fill them yourself. This is a fairly inexpensive way to try them out... and also not get burnt by some crappy mall kiosk type ecig.
  20. CONGRATS SNUBBER! I also just hit the 2 year mark... feels great too !! This is, and will be, the only forum I will ever be a member of. I thank everyone for the help as well!!
  21. That's a bummer on the eGo... mine has been going strong a little over a year and a half now. I bet it wouldn't happen to you again though.
  22. Another vote for the EMDCC's here ! And, UMA, I still have to top off several times a day with those also... I think that's just part of using cartos though. Which is no big deal for as well as they perform! By the way 'vaporchick'... I also say 'congrats' on quitting the pills. I totally know where you are coming from when talking about this. Unfortunately for me, I have major back problems (L5-S1 protrusion, lumbar stenosis, degenerative spurring at facet joints, etc.) that require me to take meds to be able to lead a somewhat, half-assed productive life. And I have seen 3 different specialists for the problem... and they each gave me a different opinion on the surgical procedure to fix it! (I would much rather them all agree on ONE surgery!) And even then there is no guarantee that I will be pain free or fixed. The thing that worries me the most is that I've not met anyone that had 1 surgery and was done... it always ended up being multiple attempts! Often times the doctor will say he's going to 'fix what the last one did wrong!' I don't want to fall into that category like everyone else seems too. Keep your head up... and keep fighting the good fight !
  23. Have you used a USB type eGo... that plugs in to the bottom to charge/vape? Otherwise... I would go with a BB and a few 14500's ! They are certainly tried and true devices.
