  1. BLUCAVVY: I never said they were all junk... I simply said that an eGo is better as far as battery life and how it operates. No real need to put words in my mouth now is there? But, thanks for your vast knowledge of e-cig batts and your input. I'm sure all the noobs will take it in to consideration. After all, these are all only opinions anyway... weather it be yours or mine. Peace!
  2. 4 PV's.... man, those were the good ol days.
  3. Certainly. Forever Vapor: Several different eGo models: http://www.foreverva...g-Starter-Kits/ And for more goods and juice: Vapor Talk: http://www.vaportalkstore.com/
  4. That's correct... it doesn't have to have the larger hole in the bottom if it has the two smaller ones in the threads. I haven't seen an atty that didn't have the little holes in the threads... although that doesn't mean they aren't out there. I love those attys in the pic... hell, at under $6 a pop you can't go wrong... they have been lasting me a long time. I've been using the same one all day every day now for about 3 weeks... on my Lava Tube. I'm betting you could solder the hole up.... which might slow or stop your leaking. But, even closing the one up, you still have the two little ones that could possibly leak... but they are much smaller.
  5. It's really pretty straight forward... once you have it in hand you will get the feel of how to use it very easily I'm sure. Also, you might want to be ready to hand your wife your current e-cig... because I have a feeling you will want to keep the eGo for yourself. It's really THAT much better than the small 'cigarette-like' devices... but you just need to see it and try for yourself I think. The way the eGo battery works, with the 'Pulse Width Modulation', keeps every 'hit' consistent through the life of the battery. It's a big step up from the small units.... you really should try one. As far as a good setup for the eGo? I would say either go with a LR Boge cartomizer or a eGo Mega Dual Coil cartomizer. If you want... you can also give 'direct dripping' a go with a LR 510 atomizer! That's another great thing about the eGo... it's a very diverse little unit, being able to use cartos or attys, whichever you prefer at the time. Also, don't forget to grab a couple of 'drip tips' too... they can be used with cartos or attys.
  6. I prefer TPA flavors when it comes to the fruits.
  7. I always buy 30ml bottles... and 12mg nic. Why buy 10ml bottles of something that you KNOW you like? Right? I suppose if I hadn't tried the juice yet then I would go 10ml. I've spent the last 2 years buying and trying though... I think I'm about done with that! Too risky... never know if I'm going to like it or not. I guess we just get settled in with the vendor of our choice... at least I find myself doing that anyway.
  8. It's actually much smaller than you think... IMO. You won't be disappointed with an eGo.
  9. I'm certainly pleased when I get a month out of a $5-6 atomizer !
  10. I agree there Jeff! Heck, I can blow through a 1ml eGo tank in no time flat if I wanted too... and they are saying that's 'close to a pack of smokes'? Come on! Pisses me off.... I'm thinkin' a 1ml cart of 12mg nic is closer to 3-4 analogs!
  11. That's MUCH more accurate mjradik.... companies just cannot say that a 'cart is close to a pack of analogs'. It's all about what mg/ml the juice is... like you point out. I never did understand how/why companies say that nonsense! Well, yeah I do, it's drawing people in to jump on their product. Just isn't right taking advantage of n00bs though.
  12. I don't know about that... but I do know that VG is just much more dense than PG, so it certainly feels different on the inhale. Your findings could be right on... I suppose I could agree with that theory as well, VG sure does mute flavors though, that much I know!
  13. The 306 atty itself puts out a much warmer vapor... just because of how the 306 is made. You might find it hard to match the same warmth with any 510 atty. The only thing you could do is try a standard resistance 306 (2.5-2.8 ohms) and crank it up on the Lava Tube. The LR 306's just get so much hotter faster... let us know what you end up trying... I would like to hear the results. This is meant for VV mods it says: http://www.avidvaper.com/sr306-standard-resistance-atomizer-2-5-ohm-cisco-spec/
  14. What he's saying is that the 'GreenSmoke' is simply waaay overpriced for what it is! That's all. Not to mention this bold statement: Each FlavorMax™ Cartomizer is comparable to 1.5 packs of traditional cigarettes. I'm fairly certain a carto wouldn't last me nearly as long as 1.5 packs of smokes! We all know that's a bunch of crapola! Mr.Elixir: I think your e-cig journey would be much easier for you if you stepped up to a better device... like an eGo.
  15. I wouldn't buy anything that isn't 510 compatible... but that's just me.
  16. A cart is nowhere close to 13-14 analogs! Not a chance!
  17. Depends how I'm vaping... Cartos: I like the juice heavier on the PG side. (around 80/20) Dripping: I prefer the thicker/VG based juices so it doesn't just run right through. (typically 50/50) I prefer PG over VG... but in some cases I just need that extra thickness of VG... even though I don't like that it mutes the flavor and throat hit of my juices.
  18. Dripping will work great with your high VG juices! I personally feel that's the best way to enjoy those thicker juices.
  19. Atomizers still have two tiny holes in the threading for airflow... so I'm not sure about that honestly. All I know is that for under $6 these SmartVapes 510 dripping attys are working great and lasting me a long time!
  20. Roger that Dan Dan.... howdy there partner!
  21. Alot depends on the juice you are using as well... for me, I never clean my atty's. If I do anything at all... it's nothing more than blowing through it to clear what's in there. I don't use many 'dark/sweet' juices either... and I think that may be why mine last me so long!
  22. I'm diggin' mine thus far as well... and had no blemishes whatsoever.
